Perfect !
Enjoy 😁
I have only the RoR - Ryse of Rome - blood and burning mod. Nothing is on the list other than that (not sure if i need another mod to run it smoothly).
And yes, the toggle to have mod active is on. If there is more to do I am completely unaware of that.
Going to re-due steps once again. I don't believe its a PC issue, i am using a RTX 3070 and the game doesn't lag unless there's 8 full armies fighting.
Mod looked great so I am very eager to figure out whats happening haha.
If the blood works well, it means that something is conflicting with the effects of the arrows..
What other mods do you use?
And stupid question, but did you activate the mod in the mod manager before launching the game?
Yes I have.
Is there a specific quality I need to run to see the effects? I am on ultra I believe.
You seem to have done everything right.
Yes blood_rome2.pack is the original game file, you should not delete it
Have you completed step 4 in the game menu:
4. In the Game menu, go to « Options » -> « Mods » and enable the use of Movie type mods.
I am having squares when arrows are shot and hit the ground. It is only mod i have downloaded, the file you gave is saved in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data
Blood looks amazing but its the damn arrows making multiple white square that are huge. i saw someone else say something similar but he didnt post his solution if he found one.
I cannot tell if the "blood_rome2.pack" conflicting with this mod? I believe that is the file you get when you buy the blood and gore DLC so im just confused.
I see you've said remove any other blood mod, but like i said before, "blood_rome2.pack" i think is the base game DLC for blood so havent deleted that one.
Any help would be great but understand if you have no idea!
- Less fire smoke, less burning fire effect
- More smoke during explosions
/!\ Need to download the new "RoR - Effects" file /!\
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nw9JVDoY9xx20y0UCw0z2ykdIJiUTZZV/view?usp=sharing
Thank you for your comment! I'll see what I can do
But, to be honest, the fire effects are a bit too excessive, imho!
Some times you you can't even see anything, in the battle, when you zoom in and the frames go CRAZY!
It would be best if you added a "Lite" version as well, with less fire effects, if it is possible for you..!
Thanks!
I have a mod for the translations of the units in each language but it's not finished yet, otherwise you can put the game in English to have the names of the units
I think you didn't download the necessary file "RoR - Effetc, in your data folder
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nw9JVDoY9xx20y0UCw0z2ykdIJiUTZZV/view
Maybe your antivirus is blocking the file when downloading
Yes it a standalone, but put my mods before Radious in the mod manager
Ok perfect ! You're welcome
Thanks ! Glad you like the mod
I found the problem, I foolishly set the graphics options incorrectly.
Thanks for the help. The mod is really great!
I tried again, just in case.
I unchecked all modes, deleted all movie pack files in the data folder, put in only the ROR movie pack, and used only the ROR mode in the modes list.
But the same thing happened, the dust effect disappears when I move away from the screen, so I must be doing something wrong...
Everything is perfect then, I don't see any problems, useful can you find another mod that modifies the effects?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data
Yeah, I put it there.
I also checked the Mod Movie Pack in the options
You put the file "RoR - Effects" in Steam > steamapps > commons > Total War Rome II > data
Is that it?
I put it in the Moviepack data folder.
For the graphics options, we set Terrain Very High and Particles Very High, and all other options to Medium and High.
Have you downloaded the RoR - Effects file from Google Drive?
What graphics quality are you playing in?
All in French for a blood mod ?
Are you talking about the main mod "Ryse Of Rome" ?
What language is your game normally in? Maybe you installed the French translation mod "Ryse Of Rome - Traduction"
Did you download the file from the Google Drive link?
I have tried the Mod but unfortunately something strange has happend. Whenever the soldiers are marching they leave alot of dust behind and you cant even see the soldiers anymore. Especially when they clash. It literally looks like someone has drop a smoke granade in the middle of the battle haha.
The smoke is very thick and can't see much. I don't think its compatible. But its a great Mod!
Yes, just put the mod above DEI, normally it should have no problem, I've never played DEI but I don't think this mod changes the blood textures
I wonder if Blood & Burning works with all the other mods?
Sorry then, did you check in your data folder if you didn't have a file downloaded from another blood mod?
I have done so, I even double and triple checked and did the whole process from start to finish those times.
/!\ Don't forget to download the file to have the improved effects ! /!\
/!\ Click on the "download" button to start downloading /!\
Have you downloaded the "RoR - Effects" file?
If you use the blood of the para bellum mod, remember to unsubscribe and delete is "effect" file in the data folder, and download the "RoR - Effects" file from my mod and put it in the Data folder
不,不幸的是,這款遊戲的牆上沒有血跡…
New update available:
/!\ Re-uploading the new file required "RoR - Effects" /!\
All effects reworked for more blood and burn
