The Creator of the drop pods from that video states that nobody ever asks him how to remake his mod. He sounded like he would have been happy to explain how it was done.

I have asked him about it, but he didn't give any response, nor has he gone to the steam workshop to give any guidance to the author of Hemorrhage AI Mayhem | Endless AI War.

Hey I just tried you're mod out and it is a fantastic mod, however I realized only a few units, that ever go past halfway on the map? I was wondering if that could be rectified in some way? Where they will continue to push forward, till they are spawn killing the enemy base or vice versa to give it a bit more momumemtam and tension, love the mod and keep posting more like this, thank you!

I previously wanted 20 AI per team, but had to reduce the AI to 14 or sometimes 17 per team because the AI uses a shared brain.

There's limited ways for the mod to be affected by the player's preferences. Firefight depends on Halo Script which is much different to custom game scripts. I can only add support for the built in firefight game type functions which do not allow for changing the amount of flag captures.

Also, in Halo Reach, the AI have a shared brain. If I spawn too many, their intelligence and combat behavior will deteriorate. Only 20 AI will behave at 100% effectiveness. But this mod somehow can allow for effective 24 to 30 smart AI at a time because the map is big.

May I set the number of AI in the game myself, choose the red or blue faction, and the number of flags to grab? I feel that grabbing three flags to end the game is too few. If only I could choose to grab five or seven flags myself, that would be great:steamhappy:

I just spent 2 hours or so flying every single bot out of hemorrhage and onto either the Pinnacle or Asylum depending on if they were red or blue. This isn't significant in any way, but I thought you should know.

mod has been updated. If you're still seeing the flashlight, I don't know what to do. But I found that in the Biped tag it indeed had a flashlight that was forced on at all times.

I'm currently making changes to the mod so that armor ability bots sync better and to also remove the first person flashlight from the player biped.

The biped has the flashlight set to always on but I didn't know it was there because I can never see it ingame.

I found what you were talking about. I don't know why I couldn't see the flashlight whenever I play test the mod. It might be a leftover of when I tried to force the flashlight to turn on but it seem to not work

nah when first person there a bright light coming out of your spartan. only see it in first person, when you're holding a turret or in a vehicle you can't see it

What are you talking about? Do you mean the night vision? It Can be disabled but I kept it in because it's part of the game

I advise you to try normal/heroic difficulty.
Easy is scripted to make bots ignore players while legendary has insta-melee bots and unfair grenade damage toward the player.

Playing on Legendary will cause the bots to double melee. The legendary difficulty modifies certain things about the base game and it seems that insta-melee bots is a feature of legendary

If you want to spectate the ai battle, then set the game difficulty to easy so that the bots will ignore all players ingame.

I have added more banshees because they're too weak. Banshees and Elites swap turns when they die, to prevent too many bots and map overload. Banshees also take much longer to spawn, since it can be annoying for them to spawn frequently.

Now includes ally/enemy banshees that have a chance to spawn. However, there can only be a maximum of 30 bots on the map. Some bots take much longer to spawn depending on what Species or role they spawn with.

A split screen mod has recently been put on GitHub (Credit NOT mine). I found that player 4 doesn't spawn initially but found a solution.

I may update the mod again so that player 4 can spawn with the rest of the local split screen players.

if you update the mod, bots now honk the warthog horn if they lack someone at the turret.
Bots no longer enter the scorpion_g seat as it is annoying and causes Scorpion tanks to remain frozen if occupied by a bot.

Bots are dumb whenever they attempt to enter the scorpion anti-infantry turret. (causing the blue team scorpion to remain waiting for a dumb bot to enter for eternity) So I want to ban bots from entering scorpion turrets. Or I could come up with an annoying script that tracks scorpion tanks and friendly bots at all times to determine who should teleport into the turret seat.

I wish to update this mod and give bots scripted behaviors. Hopefully, I can get to making bots capture the flag without having them freeze in place.
