I might be crazy but this mod doesnt work for me it always says wrong version of the game and doesnt show up

Ahhh alright! The starting castle is what i wanted tbh haha, might just have to edit one in while i'm starting then haha. Ty!

I am pretty sure that it won't. Of if it does, that there will be errors.
This scenario is based on Sanguophage scenario that comes with the Biotech DLC (just altered to work with Medieval Overhaul) so you could use that. That Biotech scenario doesn't have a starting castle, as that part of Medieval overhaul's assets.

Will this work without medieval overhaul? Was hoping to start with it and just not have the additional items added by the mod?

It should be, but please bear in mind that the other mod authors will have put if not compatible with the two required mods. It's not something I've used personally, so it shouldn't be effected as this was made with just the two mods installed. If you find anything, I anything I imagine it should be resolved by load order. As a scenario, a new game is required so any issues will be immediately apparent.

No it doesn't require Anomaly. As I do not own that expansion, I am unsure if the two required mods conflict with Anomaly. I run this with my medieval mod collection and biotech only.
