If you do ever do come out with anything more refined in regards to getting a couple points to spend please post it here.
DarkStar 7 Apr @ 5:18am
I'll probably just use this one instead. Limited magic is fine by me.
Incata  [author] 6 Apr @ 11:38pm
@DarkStar I ended up deleting it, it required a lot of work and I wasn't very happy with it, those of you who have downloaded it can continue using it simply by changing the file name
DarkStar 6 Apr @ 4:55pm
What did you take down the other skill points mod?
Incata  [author] 12 Mar @ 9:22am
@chuwbe It should work for any mod unless it includes a new agent type or something similar. Load this mod with higher priority.

thank you, would be cool if you could make this mod works for radious sfo and similar
DarkStar 29 Dec, 2024 @ 2:44pm
Awesome, thank you. Ill start using it.
Incata  [author] 29 Dec, 2024 @ 2:41pm
@BlackJack I created this mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3329435129 with a similar intention although I never got around to testing it in depth and it is not updated with the latest DLC.
DarkStar 29 Dec, 2024 @ 2:36pm
I love this mod, but dont like that most spells are locked.
DarkStar 29 Dec, 2024 @ 2:34pm
Any chance for a mod but a level based unlocking of spells? First 2 spells you get automatically like always, next 3 you get at level 20, and the rest at level 40.
Incata  [author] 29 Dec, 2024 @ 2:06pm
@ShaggothChampion No, it's a super simple mod, there were no changes
MorglumNecksnapper 29 Dec, 2024 @ 12:43pm
Thanks so much! Does this mod need an update by the way?
Incata  [author] 28 Dec, 2024 @ 5:16pm
@ShaggothChampion 0 Followers https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3394696643 There you have something of what you asked for, I studied the possibility of eliminating technology but it does not seem viable, some factions depend too much on it like Nakai
Incata  [author] 27 Dec, 2024 @ 2:43pm
@ShaggothChampion Maybe... I like to experiment
MorglumNecksnapper 27 Dec, 2024 @ 11:28am
Any chance for a mod that would erase technology, skill points and items/followers?
ZeButcher888 18 Sep, 2024 @ 3:10pm
no, like something that just puts all lords, player and ai, at max level right away.

i'll try it out for my next campaign but I'm skeptical about using the one you suggested right now with my mods that add skills and im already mid campaign
Incata  [author] 18 Sep, 2024 @ 2:50pm
ZeButcher888 18 Sep, 2024 @ 8:56am
is there a mod that just puts all lords at max level instead of this?
Sarissofoi 25 Aug, 2024 @ 9:21pm
That is definitely interesting idea. Very simple but damn its really great idea.
Incata  [author] 8 Jul, 2024 @ 1:22pm
@Not_My_Spiderman avoid obtaining any skills that are not learned automatically
I Have No Enemies Brother 8 Jul, 2024 @ 11:06am
@incata

This would prevent the ability to use the red line skill army buffs correct? As well as prevent even legendary lords from getting leadership buff to right?

If so that is awesome !
anubis 26 Jun, 2024 @ 4:04am
In short, there are mods that increase skill points, and I want to limit it.Let's say 5 skill points per hero, lord. This will not give you the opportunity to open strong magic
anubis 26 Jun, 2024 @ 4:00am
Say Zero Skill In your mod, There are zeros ( 0 ) in the Skill Points line.If I do not mind building, for example, 10 lvl I will put 5, then at 10 lvl the hero will get 5 points? It seems to me that this is the easier way!!
Incata  [author] 26 Jun, 2024 @ 3:52am
@anubis It's tedious, think that you have to think about what abilities you leave to each one and review each hero and wizard in the game and identify the ability you want to leave them (there are a few). Maybe in the end it won't be so complicated but as I say I haven't even started to plan it.
anubis 26 Jun, 2024 @ 3:33am
Maybe based on your "Auto Learn Skills" mod, it will be possible to make magic turn on, but not all of it, and gradually! Tell me in which line are these changes?Or is it difficult?
anubis 26 Jun, 2024 @ 3:24am
You can cast spells gradually (fire mage) -10 lvl Cascading fire cloak. LVL 20 Flaming Sword Ruin. 30 lvl Burning head. You understand the concept.
Incata  [author] 26 Jun, 2024 @ 3:23am
@anubis You're probably right, but I have so many mods and CA updates their game so many times that I don't have time to deal with so many things, maybe one day...
anubis 26 Jun, 2024 @ 3:14am
I agree, it's not worth returning strong spells (Gorka's Leg). But a Headbutt-why not?"Soul Fire" to the Priest?Lords and heroes have become ordinary units -sad! .I'll probably keep playing with your mod, it's better than lord or hero= terminator.I respect your hard work, but you've completely cut off a big chunk of the game!I think we need to find a Middle ground.(google translation)
Incata  [author] 25 Jun, 2024 @ 12:31pm
@anubis Correct, those spells are capable of annihilating several regiments with a single cast. Imagine if you can throw them 4 or 5 times.
anubis 25 Jun, 2024 @ 10:23am
Greetings.[GLF] Battle Mage 战斗法师 - Updated for 4.2. - I have subscribed to this mod, on your recommendation. But he only gives the magician shooting, there are no skills!(pit of shadows, rain of fire, tornado.....)
Incata  [author] 25 Jun, 2024 @ 4:31am
@anubis Hello, thank you for giving your opinion, the mages fall a little short if that's why I recommend using the mod [GLF] Battle Mage 战斗法师 - Updated for 4.2. so that they have a little more impact in battle. I may enable other spells in the future, I don't know.
anubis 25 Jun, 2024 @ 2:54am
The mod is very good. But playing with this mod, I felt empty.Lords are no longer killing machines-that's good!.You're more focused on the troops. But there is no more magic! One starting spell is not enough.Radically.I think we need to be more gentle.Thank you, my boy.

This is the kind of mod, I've been looking for some time. Moving to army-centric gameplay, without sheer I-WIN-BUTTONS like certain lords or heroes, making the Total War a little bit more challenging. Thank you for going against the tide. Some players truly appreciate that.
ChopChop 3 Jun, 2024 @ 3:45pm
Any time
Incata  [author] 3 Jun, 2024 @ 3:16pm
@ChopChop It can be done yes, in fact I already have a mod that does it with all Auto Learn Skills, but I'm not sure I want to do it, first because some spells are too powerful and second when there are 2 or more magicians in an army we only cast spells of one, in this way and given its low consumption we can consider using both. These are things that are only seen while playing. I don't rule it out but at the moment I don't think I'll add it. Anyway, thanks for the offer. :lunar2019wavingpig:
ChopChop 3 Jun, 2024 @ 3:01pm
I can show you how to make auto added skills like mounts but spells to mages easy in this mod afaik with one or two db tables
wonowon 3 Jun, 2024 @ 8:28am
I totally agree!
thank you for the mod
Incata  [author] 3 Jun, 2024 @ 7:49am
@benettonkkb It's a bit of a beast and goes against what most people want, you just have to look at the "success" of the mods that add new abilities, even I thought "this will take away the fun of the game" "I don't think you can play without this feature" so you have to try things, I was very wrong.

Regarding the mod, I don't know if it's a good idea to add power-ups again to a game that's overloaded with them, but hey, it's a good contribution and I didn't remember about it :lunar2019wavingpig:
benettonkkb 3 Jun, 2024 @ 7:13am
This is absolutely not the way I like to play, but I really do dig that you've been able to make a mod out of this idea, and I really dig your gaming philosophy.

To your point about lords improving through meritocracy, I recommend the "Normal Traits Extended" mod, which expands on rewarding your lords based on what they *do*.

Cheers. Happy gaming.
