Wow. I am flabbergasted. Your mid is positively incredible. Pretty much beyond all of my expectations and then some. That must have taken so many hours of hard work and dedication, I can barely imagine.

After doing some investigation work on this stuff, since I had no idea how Zomboid really handled things, I found out the item (ID) limit is 32,766 , and it seems this mod alone (currently) takes 10,087 IDs, which is understandable with the absolutely astounding amount of items you added.

Anyone having problems, do keep this in mind, and check for any mods that may add a lot of items too. I myself got this to work by doing a thorough mod cleanup, getting rid of mods that added stuff I did not need (like tiles mods for maps I did not use) and mods that also added a lot of items (like this one add-on for TrueMusic that adds over 2000 tracks, or some of the vehicle mods like for example KI5's vehicle collection where each vehicle may have multiple new items). You can see what mods (modID) are adding the most items in the file "WorldDictionaryLog.lua", located in your save's folder at "%USERNAME%\Zomboid\Saves\Sandbox\"

Yeah that did not fix the issue, as I suspect, and said, I don't think this has anything to do with there being too many items loaded into the game but rather some mod disliking this mod, and/or viceversa, despite Zomboid being dumb and spewing "zombie.world.WorldDictionaryException: Max item ID value reached for WorldDictionary!" in the console.log file (not sure if it's the same for everyone else but I'd suspect so)
I may need to actually make a new save with just this mod and then slowly load the rest (I am getting some flash backs to Skyrim :epifear:) ...

I just removed roughly 7,800 items. Hopefully this is enough to address the issue. I won't be able to remove anymore without negatively affecting the mods content.

I don't think it's an issue with the item limit of zomboid being reached but rather some incompatibility, because I tried your sub-mods and I still had the issue, when trying to start a new game, with just the "PokeApocalypse Cards and Plushies" one, even after removing mods that add items, one of them adding a lot of stuff (True Music)
Wish I could help out more than just doing all this pointing out stuff, but combing out through my literal hundreds of mods with no lead to where the issue may be, because the game's logs are useless, would take days

I don't know how to remove the item limit from Project Zomboid. I'm able to play with a mod list of 500+. I added hydrocraft to see if I could still load, and it doesn't load. So for now, it's just players choice in mods to use. My coding knowledge is bare minimum, getting by with reverse engineering as I went.

I too am in the same situation.
I have a ton of mods but I was still able to play with this no problem (specially after getting rid of Hydrocraft), so I'd believe the latest changes must have pushed the item limit (or something else, because I found out in my case that that item limit world dictionary error thing does not usually mean there are too many things but maybe items with wrong or overlapping ID's) so now I cannot make a new game either if I have PokeApocalypse.
Hopefully this gets fixed, because the latest changes sound neat :epihappy:

You can check by loading into debug mode and opening the item menu/list.

Maybe you have some mod or tool specifically you use for modding that removes the limit? How do you see your total items? (if its not very complicated)

Just checked my game, total 30,333 items. No errors, crashing,etc., I just don't know what I have doing differently from yours. I don't have mods like hydrocraft or transmog. From what I have read, I'm assuming my mod isn't compatible with other mods adding thousands of items.

@Animatron Based on what the staff said I dont think so, its just how the game its coded, but im not an expert, so maybe theres a way or a mod. If you find it plase share it!

- My last test was, playing only with Poke and Hydrocraft, and it worked very well!!!!.

So far my conclusions may be that the comment where it says that the game has a limit of 10,000 objects may be true.

The Poke works very well even with quite a few mods that don't add too many things to the game.

That's all for my report this morning.

Thanks for all your effort, this MOD is very fun, please don't abandon it.

I have 8gb allocated, but I dont think its a matter of ram, I got an answer by the Indie Store Tech Support that said this:
t says in the log that you reached the maximum item limit in the World dictionary, the limit is like 10000 items, which means you must have either an unhealthy amount of mods, or you have mods that somehow generate unique items (for example the old transmog mod version), do you have such a mod?
It would be best to remove it and likely reset the World Dictionary as you have already done. Do this while having a backup of the save of course.

So as I understand, the number of items is limited to 10.000, independently of the ram or pc specs

Hello good day Author, excuse my English, I'm using the translator to get it faster.
So far the tests I've done are:

-Playing the Poke MOD with my mods that were already installed, before the update everything worked fine, after this update I get the same error as everyone else.
- Playing the Poke MOD WITHOUT Mods, the mod and the game work perfectly.
- I played Project Zomboid with all the MODs and without Poke, everything works very well.

*I increased the RAM of Project Zomboid, according to the image you shared and I really appreciate it, minimum 6GB maximum 16GB, my computer has 24 GB of RAM

- I tried to play it with all the MODS and it didn't work, the same error keeps appearing, and the game consumes a maximum of 10 GB of RAM, so it still has a lot of RAM to use

- Now, I removed 1 MOD that adds a lot of things to the game called Hydrocraft, when I removed that MOD and played with all my other MODS and with Poke, the game runs very well.

Check my last screenshot I just made. It provides directions on how to allocate more ram for Project Zomboid. I'm assuming this will remedy the problem that is occurring. And by you telling me you're getting locked out by item limit leads me to believe it's most likely a memory issue. Regardless, it's always a good thing to do, allocating more ram for better performance and FPS. Try it out and let me know.

So, it seems like the game has a limit of items of 10.000, and the mod adds so many items that people with already heavy modded list surpass those 10k, making it unable to load.
I did a clean new world only with this mod and works just fine:steamthumbsup:

Try verifying file integrity if you haven't already. Right-click the game in your library, select "Properties," go to the "Local Files" tab, and click "Verify integrity of game files".

When I try to load a save or create a new game it gives me this error that sends me to the console.txt:

Basically it says we are sorry an unexpected error happened. Press ESC or left mouse button to exit. The next file may contain info about the error and then it sends me to the console.txt.
I dont know much about programming and mods, so I dont know what the text on the txt means : s

@Strifess "Was hoping it'd bring up the card so I can actually see it in more of a full view" that is how it works i'm guessing you have another mod on that's messing it up try loading up a game without your other mods and then find out which mods might be causing it to brake most likely an ui mod so start by disabling those first

Idk if I'm only one this happens to. Everytime I try to "read" a card it does nothing. Was hoping it'd bring up the card so I can actually see it in more of a full view.

Would it be possible to have something like the key ring for the decks? So that you can put an infinite amount of cards in there without adding weight. And only cards can be put in there.

The cards are a bit of a pain by any chance could you make it possible to put cards into a deck so there not just filling up the inventory also i see you already wanted to make the card game play able which was another thing i was gonna ask for so glad you already had the idea to do so but with that said the deck thing would work well into that for when/if you make it play able, lastly not sure if there already in the mod and i just haven't found them yet but if there not than binders for the cards would be great as a way to easily see what cards you have and also give a place to store all the cards

Hi, I don't see recipes to evolve pokemon. I see mini evolve but I think that just changes it to a mini pokemon container?

Where can I find those recipes that use rare candies/how do I use rare candies. Maybe I'm missing a magazine, I did try spawning some in but I still don't see how to evolve. Thanks again, me and my friends really love the mod.

Hey I want to say that it all woks know perfect!
I do need to say I love the use of vannial items. It give them more use then normal.
Also one more thing is it possibel to make that wehn you mini evol your pokemon that the carrying capacity is still the same like befohr mine evolving. I know it's sounds wired but I think it would better since then they have actule use! More then just a decoration.

@AndrewG1320 They should spawn in unseen areas. Most of the items you mentioned can be found on zombie corpse loot

Stupid question, would it be ok for me to write a patch to exclude this from the transmog mod? Im running a server with some friends and due to the limit on Transmog, only 5k items can be in the "list". This mod ends up taking up a lot of it cause of all the wearables.
