i misunderstood how that was handled and fixed it accordingly
But turns out sasha was using the sentrys bullets, so her damage was alittle off
that would be a good add. a top level combat only is a good need provided it can do the job. too many fall easy on our side.

I did but admittedly on my mechanator that already had 126/478 bandwith used. I didn't want to assume so i gave that level of dought to my words in case i missed something.
but a lancer is a better miltor. the normal one is not an upgraded mini. it's a mini without hauling and better stats. a utility point is how im looking at them. Why build the normal one? better stats? turrets. to attack a bace? ill use a caravan one. the mini has use out of combat. the big one does not.
if you make it hunt i can see that as agood change. that would put it's combat ability to better use. assault rifle? hmm. a good gun but I tend to use rockets myself. maybe I need to test it in a different field.

i changed it a week ago however, it could just be steam wigging out?
and i forgot to change it prior to upload, but my local copy works fine and ive updated the mod twice now with those fixes i had thought
have you...even tested anything before suggesting something?
also by your logic theres no reason to make a lancer....some mechs are just damaged based yknow?
normal sentry has better armor, speed, and damage, in exchange for no hauling
its alot more all rounded (like an assault rifle basically) then a pikemen or lancer alongside being earlier in the tech tree. while minis still wont be effective once raiders and mechs field actual forces due to them being basically militors who die when poked alittle
that said: when i release the dispenser im going to patch the normal sentry to do hunting work
as someone recommended it and thats not a bad idea
i could buff its damage abit as well
the mood buff is so minor in the grand scheme of things and i just see it as an in general "look at the cute girl" sorta thing. ill consider removing it from mini
later on there will be a PURE combat sentry (the level 3) whos entirely focused on DPS
good to know it doesn't stack as a debuff but it still feels a little odd for the mini one to give or lose some. Because now if it's a lifter when the big one is not and it's as strong as a miltor. so the mini one is a miltor with a mood buff and can haul. the big one is a stronger gun. Probably cost more bandwidth.
using the new info you gave me I don't see a reason to make the big one. because the little one is 2 mechs in one and gives mood buff. sure not as strong but in they are cheaper on cost and bandwith im using the mini because it can fight and haul. If the same im using the mini because it can fight and haul.
personally i think the mini should have no mood change good or bad. more so after finding out they can haul as well. because a combat lifter is still a better lifter no mater how bad.
i could lower the mood penalty for minis specifically?
the intent wasn't for you to mass them, the intent is to built one or 2 to help with hauling and just happens to help in combat more then the average lifter can.
i dont think people mass militors either, pretty sure most people phase them out the moment they can UNLESS you play CE or use a "real shotgun" mod of sorts to make them actually work like they should
the mini performs about as well as a militor, its a long ranged militor that happens to help haul
the mood debuff also doesnt STACK either
your getting a 2 in 1 mechanoid, for the same bandwidth, a higher initial build cost, and the risk of a small mood debuff if it dies
i cant really see how there is "no reason" to use it
the full one DOESNT haul either mind you, you can always just make 1 mini to be a hauler and abit of an aid during a fire fight
i generally dont use the hunt job and just manually hunt myself (i distrust my pawns) so it slipped my mind as a possibility
mining and cooking i cant think of anyone on the list currently who would do those things, but ill think about it
