We will have to wait and see what happens with 1.6 and how Save our Ship 2 decides to implement/synergize with the DLC's approach to space.

Will this hopefully be patched to work with 1.6's version of space as well? =)

Version 1.0.1

Adds support for "Altered Carbon 2: ReSleeved"

Retains legacy support for "Altered Carbon: Ultratech Unleashed"

Fixed mangled version indicator in manifest.xml, thank you to Vincent for pointing it out!

Hello!
I noticed that your mod "Space Armor patches" has a version tag <version>1</version> in the Manifest.xml file.
This causes errors with HugsLib and log publishers in RimWorld, because the version format is invalid.
Could you please update the version tag to a standard format like <version>1.0.0</version> to fix this?
Thank you very much for your work!

can you update it to Altered carbon 2? i tested the fusileer armor in space and it didn't work
Secretkeeper626 26 Jan @ 1:31pm
I’m assuming this mod has been updated for altered carbon 2?

Siegebreaker isn't patched by this, so no spaceworthy op psycasters for me :(

Hiya; Any possibility of adding the Spacer Slave Suit to the list from this mod: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1522429439 This is the closest mod I can find out there that has space age Slave Suits that could function as an EVA to effectively support slaving bastard colonies, etc...

The Spacer Slave Suit is set to be Skin and Middle layer, given most space suits are set to set to Middle and Outer Layer, might make sense to give it properties of an EVA suit with x400 space maneuverability as isn't very protective.

It wouldn't make sense to include it's corresponding helmet as that seems to be open faced.

Totally blanked on the existence of Dragoon armor, will give that +400% just like locust armor a little later once I have some other stuff to add too.
Dr. Internet  [author] 14 Jun, 2024 @ 7:53am
Added vacuumspeedboost to AC's Protector & Fusilier and Maru's HRS. See patchnotes for more. Will look at armors from rimsenal and those patched by other means to see if there's any that really should have vacuumspeedboost that don't have it... later.

Got it thanks, please advise which ones you make move faster in vaccum. I imagine it would be the Dragoon or some of the other lighter scouting oriented armors. Thank you for your work on this.
Dr. Internet  [author] 13 Jun, 2024 @ 6:39pm
Yes they'll move slowly since I haven't applied a "speed while in vacuum" modifier to them. I think I will add that to some of them, but I'm also unsure right now why I've seen inconsistent behavior with some armor I've observed in-game not having or at least not disclosing the +400% speed boost yet moving normally in vacuum.

Question Dr Internet, seeing as you've clearly played with the files that dictate armor values and SOS2 functionality here; Under this mod what is the relative speed of the various altered carbon armors for EVA movement? Do They all move very slowly as compared to the Heavy EVA Suit for instance? I figured you may know as you've played with file values directly?
Ocomunepom 9 Jun, 2024 @ 6:51am
thx you, and for hte warcasket that nice
i dont have to be scared for my 12 warcasket unit now
yea LITTLE heavy squad of ex prisoner
Dr. Internet  [author] 9 Jun, 2024 @ 5:24am
Warcaskets are already patched to be spaceworthy by SOS2 itself, so no need for additional patching there :) And I've added support for the Maru Heavy Reinforcement Suit, no problem.
Ocomunepom 9 Jun, 2024 @ 4:58am
when you say pirate from VFE, do you include warcasket ?

hmmm for maru i looked and the only one that feel it could is the heavy reinforced suit (no helmet seem to do the job (they all look like mask)
Dr. Internet  [author] 9 Jun, 2024 @ 2:58am
@ocomunepom: I don't use the maru race mod myself but if you have the name of the armors that should be EVA sealed then I can certainly add them easily.
Dr. Internet  [author] 9 Jun, 2024 @ 2:54am
@ferny: Same change as SOS itself applies to Marine armor for instance, adds a line to the description that says "EVA Capable", plus shows in the stats +75% or +25% decompression protection for armors and helmets.
Ocomunepom 9 Jun, 2024 @ 12:41am
would it be possible to have a mod for the maru race ? making one of there armor
ferny 9 Jun, 2024 @ 12:16am
Just cause i'm too lazy to test, are these changes reflected in the descriptions of the items themselves?
TurtleShroom 8 Jun, 2024 @ 8:02pm
EDIT: Ah, I see it's already been done. Good to hear.
TurtleShroom 8 Jun, 2024 @ 8:01pm
Shouldn't ALL of the War Caskets count as spacesuits? They are completely sealed and self-sustaining...
Dr. Internet  [author] 8 Jun, 2024 @ 4:45pm
Warcaskets are already covered by a patch included in SOS2 itself, so that shouldn't be necessary :)
Ocomunepom 8 Jun, 2024 @ 2:55pm
do the pirate part affect the warcascket ?
The Dutchman 8 Jun, 2024 @ 11:56am
EVA or SOS2, the only ones that would matter
Dr. Internet  [author] 8 Jun, 2024 @ 11:53am
I just used the wrong words when searching, probably should've used "EVA"
The Dutchman 8 Jun, 2024 @ 11:50am
Find that hard to believe when its one of the first results...
Dr. Internet  [author] 8 Jun, 2024 @ 11:43am
Cool, didn't know that existed, and I did search. Thanks for letting me know.
