Right Now I started using Yet Another Dang Mech which adds many new mechs
It also adds a ton of unwanted stealth mechs that you can't target or see in arena
Which is super annoying, This mod can really helped me blacklist those mechs.

Does this prevent spawning in the map but not spawning mechs in shops right?

hmm, do you have the 1999 cheat option enabled in yaml? that makes this not do anything because it overwrites the changes

That's what I've been doing unfortunately. I have been jumping more than 5+ jumps with it taking 60+ days there and back and still the mechs are spawning for me.

You need to refresh your missions after making any changes; travel 5 jumps / 42 days away to do it

Mod isn't working. I disable the mechs I no longer wish to see and then I load into a mission and they are there still.

This file holds the mods blacklisted mechs.

Is there a means of distributing a file with all disabled spawns to players, or is the host the only one who needs to do the settings?

If you're using the MechAssault mechs, anything that has multiple clusters of clan machineguns is a vicious bastard that will shred your machine. The MA Blood Asp comes to mind.

@ErikRedBeard It looks like it just changes the intro date of the mech to 9999. So if you already got it, you still keep it

Would this also prevent them from spawning in the mech stores?

And what would happen if one already owns one of the disabled mechs? (I assume any owned ones are fine).
