I'd love if someone expanded on this, with hypothetical objects such as Planet X, Vulcan, Tyche and Nemesis.
hydra 21 Jun @ 4:00pm
ShieldsOfFire Yep works all good, cheers for the fix!
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 21 Jun @ 1:37pm
@hydra I missed the flag to put the pre-sapients on mars. Should be fixed now.
hydra 19 Jun @ 6:05pm
@ShieldsOfFire Thanks
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 19 Jun @ 2:32pm
@hydra That's origin is supposed to work. I'll look into it this weekend.
hydra 19 Jun @ 10:15am
Not sure if you are aware but this mod breaks the Fear of the Dark Sol Variant. It loads as standard with Sol 1000 ( All moons, asteroids and planet size changes) but Mars always loads as a barren world without the "Haven" colony.

Maybe this is purely intended to not touch that origin, if so could i request you touch that origin and make it usable, one of my favourite origins and sadly have to disable this mod every time. Other than that never have any issues with this mod and makes Sol so much more flavourable.

Tested with a heavily modded playset and also tested with just Sol 1000, and it definitely doesn't work. Thanks!

Yep, putting the patches in the right order fixed it. But it does now remove the "features" added by the Interplanetary Settlers Origin that allow placing a research outpost in Saturn and hydroponics outpost in Ganymede through planetary decision.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 27 May @ 12:09pm
I’ve completed some testing, and the origin seems to be working correctly for me.

Some troubleshooting that may help is making sure once you select the Interplanetary Settlers Origin, you then need to select the sol specific start. Verify your load order. From top to bottom: Real Space and it’s sub mods (if your using it), …, Planetary Diversity and sub mods, …, Sol 1000, Sol 1000 – PD Patch, Sol 1000 RS patch (if you using RS).
Rosa 25 May @ 7:45pm
The PD patch kinda glitches the Interplanetary Settlers origin added by that mod. It's not game-breaking, but instead of the one lunar outpost added by that mod on Luna, you start with like 5 on different celestial bodies.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 16 May @ 3:48pm
It's worth noting changes to this mod only effect new games.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 16 May @ 3:47pm
@Dekent updated.
Dekent 16 May @ 2:00pm
If i might make a suggestion, Luna should be bumped just a tiny bit more away from Earth, right now orbital rings reach out and touch it, not quite clip but just a tiny bit more distance would look better.
*using base mod and real sol texture patch*
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 16 May @ 10:36am
Correct
AltoidsMaximus 15 May @ 12:23pm
Long story short, if I understood correctly, this means that with this mod Real Sol Textures and PD/Real Space are not compatible together ever, correct?
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 15 May @ 8:46am
So, the Real Sol Textures Patch only works with the mods that change planet size. Planetary Diversity and Real Space patches can be used together but cannot be used with Real Sol Textures.
AltoidsMaximus 14 May @ 8:22pm
I don't understand the patches. Do we need to stack all the patches up? Or the Planetary Diversity Patch works for Real Space and Real Sol Textures. Or does the Real Sol Textures Patch not work with the Real Space and Planetary Diversity patches?
Dekent 14 May @ 8:02pm
Awesome! Will be playing around with that over the next few days!
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 14 May @ 6:04pm
@Dekent I've got a patch up (see above). Haven't tested everything but it should be working.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 14 May @ 5:22pm
I updated the orbits of the planets to be more semi-realistic. This could cause the moons of Jupiter and Uranus to overlap due to the random orbits. The solution for now is just to reload a new game. This problem would only effect some new games.
arieviloj 14 May @ 3:10pm
@ShieldsOfFire ah good to know that mod is still ok for 3.14 will test tomorrow thank you!
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 14 May @ 1:57pm
@Dekent I’m already testing a rough patch of the two mods but it will take time to fully complete.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 14 May @ 1:53pm
@arieviloj it should still work on 3.14? Are you having problems?
Dekent 14 May @ 1:53pm
Nice, I like your sol system layout but I do like all the planets and moons looking like they do IRL.
arieviloj 14 May @ 1:41pm
Could you please upload a 3.14 legacy version?
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 13 May @ 4:37pm
@Dekent I can look into it.
Dekent 13 May @ 3:55pm
any chance of getting a compatibility patch with real sol textures?
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 11 May @ 10:21am
@HpgOT!?!@efifixtO why's that? It overwrites the sol system so any other mod that also overwrites it needs loaded before it.
HpgOT!?!@efifixtO 10 May @ 6:51am
Can't get it to work.
youtubitz 8 May @ 11:33pm
Cool
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 8 May @ 1:23pm
@youtubitz done.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 8 May @ 11:52am
@youtubitz Yes. I'm working on it.
youtubitz 7 May @ 9:59pm
Would it be possible to make the Hard reset variant of sol spawn with the sol 1000 attributes

Be patient for an update to Stellaris 4.0

This mod SHOULD already be working with Stellaris 4.0 but I will do expedient testing on 05/05/2025 and update when ready.

The Sub Mods will receive an update as their required mods are updated and I have time to effectuate changes.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 19 Mar @ 2:55pm
Are you using Real Space?
Альфа 1918 21 Feb @ 11:06am
Saturn is looking way too small compared to its rings, any idea which mods could be causing this?
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 14 Jan @ 5:29pm
@Tony_sm You're welcome. Thanks for your mod patches!
tony_sm 11 Jan @ 11:12am
@ShieldsOfFire thanks for the quick fix!!!!
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 11 Jan @ 10:20am
@enigma Nice catch and thank you.
enigma 11 Jan @ 1:50am
Nice mod, thanks for that, ShieldsOfFire. Just one question: is it intentional, that Neptun's moon Triton is looking exactly like Neptun? He does not look like a ice moon at all, more like Neptun's little twin brother.

In order to support more mod list scenarios, I’ve changed the Real Space Patch to just support the base Real Space mod and have added a new patch mod for Real Space System Scale.
Lazy Invincible General 10 Jan @ 1:07pm
but yeah I think I'm gonna be just removing real space, thanks for the quick reply as well
Lazy Invincible General 10 Jan @ 1:06pm
oh thats nice to know, I do think that real space adds a large sol sector and small sol sector in the main mod, I had asked since large sol sector did not show any of the changes that it should've had
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 10 Jan @ 1:00pm
The way I have the mod set up the patch requires Real Space system scale you could try using the patch without system scale but the planet would likely be overlapping. You could use just the main mod without Real Space. There is a patch between RS System Scale and Giga ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3390617957 )
Lazy Invincible General 9 Jan @ 5:34pm
do I need real space system scale if I want to use this with real space? asking because I'd rather not use system scale since it does not play nice last I checked with giga structures and stuff
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 4 Jan @ 1:58pm
The mod was just updated.

For the base mod, there are no visible changes, but the mod should be easier to update and adjust values for the future.

I fixed a small version error for the Planetary Diversity patch for this mod.

I adjusted the orbits of the planets in the Real Space patch to make the inner solar system feel larger and widened the orbits of moons to avoid large megastructures overlapping.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 31 Dec, 2024 @ 4:01pm
I'm working on an update hopefully it will be here by Friday.
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 28 Dec, 2024 @ 8:28am
You should only see three sizes for the Sol System if you're using Real Space with this mod. The different sizes only change the neighborhood size of stars around Sol. I’ll check out the com_sol_system.
Nilserrich 28 Dec, 2024 @ 5:36am
I have noticed a scenario where your Sol system does not spawn. I don't know if this is intentional, though. I'll just bring it to your attention.

Your changes to the sol system are not entered in the sol_initializers under the entry com_sol_system. This leads to the vanilla sol system being used when the Commonwealth of Men is played by a human player.
Nilserrich 26 Dec, 2024 @ 5:22pm
There are three different Sol systems to choose from in the Creation Screen. Small Sol System, Medium Sol System and Large Sol System. I think these relate more to the Sol System surroundings, but which of the three presets did you apply your changes to? All three or a specific one?
ShieldsOfFire  [author] 3 Dec, 2024 @ 3:32pm
@Balerion I'll add it to my to-do-list.
