Have you made any armies or build any buildings?

Hey Bran, amazing mod, but making money is too easy, specially by diplomatic treaties...i got a ton of money and i play on very hard, perharps you could change this, specially the economy should be harder.

ESS It is for the vanilla game. If you want the Ai to attack your cities then use the Wars of the Gods-Ancient Wars overhaul.

Will this mod make the ai attack my cities more? i want more siege defense battles... i play with dei mod but grand campaign, will it work?

I must say the version of your mod in ToB is the best and I hope you can bring that in to Rome 2. Thanks Bran !!!
jamesnorrington10 30 Oct, 2024 @ 3:50am
Sorry Bran, I just test that diplomacy bug in the Octavian Campaigns again but it still there and this time I can demand Lepidus and Antony a lot a money for just the trade agreement. Thanks for your work.

I like your mod in ToB and Attila so can you make a version of this mod that just change the Campaigns AI behavior like the Attila or ToB version. PLEASE !!!
jamesnorrington10 29 Oct, 2024 @ 3:38am
The "Overhauls diplomacy" of this mod have a problem. When I play the Octavian Campaigns, I almost friendly with everyone even the other Roman faction

hey Bran, i started wit Cyrene and Egypt threw its armies suicide style to my first city (Paraitonion), till they were all dead...could it be, that the ai is too agressive/suicidal? campaign difficulty was on hard...
Cloacky 10 Aug, 2024 @ 1:29am

Thank you for such a magnificent mod....And even more for commenting on the change notes in each update....There are many modders who do not do it and we know absolutely nothing about what they have changed....Thank you!!
Fedor von Bock 5 Jul, 2024 @ 12:49am
Okay Bran I didnt know that, i will try it, then forget my first comment

Fedor. Youo cannot test a campaign by turning off the fog of war as it makes the ai go nuts. You have to play on hard or very hard and actually play the game...fight the battles etc...make diplomatic treaties etc. Just clicking next turn over and over will not do. I have not made it to turn 50 with losing to ai. I would try really playing and give a report on your progress and battles etc.

Hello, I have now played about 60 rounds, I played as a Brit in the Augustus campaign and viewed the entire map without fog of war. I left the AI mostly undisturbed, I just took the British islands so I could observe the AI's actions in peace. Yes, the AI seems to act very interestingly and has become expansionistic.

Pompey took the entire Italian boot, Egypt took all of North Africa. On the whole, strong changes were noticeable. What bothers me a bit is that the Romans are otherwise extremely passive. All factions have trained full armies, except the Romans. Lepidus stayed in his cities for the entire duration of the game and did nothing, Antonius Rome was also completely afk. Octaviansrom didn't really try to do anything about the invasion either.

On the whole, I can say that anyone who is looking for a serious and interesting AI overhaul, but has difficulty making progress because everything is very expensive and their own finances are shit, will find it fun here.
Fedor von Bock 2 Jul, 2024 @ 1:51am
Okay I will try it out now, how handles the AI the high recruit costs? Or is it more lowered for AI?
BRAN MAC BORN  [author] 2 Jul, 2024 @ 1:40am
Fedor If you want to save some money then play on Normal campaign difficulty. Leave some feedback after 50 turns.
BRAN MAC BORN  [author] 1 Jul, 2024 @ 6:27pm
Updated-Lowered player unit costs. You will still have to conquer and gain income. Will be tough at the start so spend wisely.

I wanted to try out the mod, but I realized that you now have to pay 2,800 denarii for even a simple spear unit. Good units cost over 5 thousand denarii? So I can wait 2 rounds until I can recruit 1 unit? How are there supposed to be such big battles with interesting units? I wanted to test the mod without fog to see how the AI works, but unfortunately that's impossible
BRAN MAC BORN  [author] 1 Jul, 2024 @ 1:23am
yes all dlc campaigns
Fedor von Bock 1 Jul, 2024 @ 12:39am
Is this version working for Augustus campaign?
Fedor von Bock 27 Jun, 2024 @ 6:40am
