@alanslate only if they hate each other but if your referring to mff the ff do not get a debuff as long as they have a pawn they like like get the buff

This mod appears to work as expected, with respect to multiple colonists sharing the same bed. However, I noticed a problem in that the game doesn't seem to recognize that the beds are available, even after everyone is assigned a bed.

I began a game where all three initial pawns were married, and when I placed a sleeping spot, the "Pawns need beds" warning on the right of the screen disappeared. However, after building a triple bed and assigning it to everyone, they use the bed as expected but now the game has a perpetual "Pawns need beds" warning active.

@渣男 you can not sure why but you can have unlimited wives if you wanted to.
their is a 13 slot bed and i remember their was a joke bed that had 40. So long beds do exist.

In theory yes I could add 6 - 7 - 8 + beds
Ima be honest the game itself has a 4 spouses or lower then unlimited and I usually only have 2 so I never in a situation where having more then 5 in one bed is a problem.

I believe that will cause a problem as the game has an issue with relationships
It could have been fixed but having multiple partner pairs in one bed would break a few things and cause a share the same bed mood if in not free.
The game wants everyone to happy with each other (as in everyone is "lovers" with each other)
example -> m1<->m2, m1<->f1, m1<->f2, m2<->f1, m2<->f2, f1<->f2 would all have to be in a relationship.

I guess ill add it to my list on things I should do
if you want to expand the sprites I could do it in less than an hour but if I'm doing it I have friend content that I still have to make work on 1.6. So if I add longer beds it would be after.

Hate to ask this, but any chances for adding 7 or 8 sized beds? My royal colonist has a few wives, and some of those wives have their own separate lovers lol.

I tried "supersize beds", but the game doesn't seem to recognize the beds from that mod as royal beds.

Either way, I love this mod and want to say thanks for keeping it updated! :steamhappy:

@Rhino Prime their are mods that have bigger sizes try those if you wanted something specific not in those mods just ask for size here.

Is there any chance that you could make even bigger beds? I'm presently dealing with a particularly poly colony and I want everyone in one big bed together.

I read your note, to find the correct name to use for PatchOperationFindMod you can look inside the <name> field in the About.xml of the target mod. For vanilla furniture expanded spacer the name to use is: Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Spacer Module

Thanks, I ran into the same issue, verifying didn't work but unsubscribing from Vanilla Furniture Expanded (core) and resubscribing to it fixed the issue. I also moved this mod above VFE just in case, I haven't tried it with a different load order yet but so far things are working!

Usually verify files force updates but in this case it didn't. Nice to see the problem is fixed.

It didn't, there were only two thingdefs in Buildings_BasicBeds.xml. I unsubscribed-resubscribed to VFE, and suddenly, there are a lot more files in that folder, so I guess the problem was that VFE simply didn't update while Polyamory Beds did. (I guess simply relying on Veriffy File Integrity isn't enough...)

only thing i could say is go into the mod folder itself and see if VFE has the node "VFE_SimpleBedBase"
1.5 -> Defs -> Buildings_Furniture -> Buildings_BasicBeds
VFE_SimpleBedBase is the 4th thingdef

OK, going through and turning things off, I still get the error loading absolutely nothing but Harmony, Core and DLC, Vanilla Extended Framework, VFE, and Polyamory Beds, I still get the errors, including with the royal poster bed. With everything else in my modlist on besides Polyamory Beds, I wasn't getting the error. (OK, I tried adding in something else, but Prepatcher doesn't fix it, I just forgot to add in Polyamory Beds again...)

Looking at RimSort, the mod that was updated today was apparently Adaptive Storage Framework. I have no idea why it impacts beds, but apparently, it's throwing up errors now. Removing the mod from my modlist doesn't seem to make the errors go away, however...

that would mean that their was an error with VFE updating as
im taking the direct path from the mod
if VFE_SimpleBedBase does not exist its a problem with VFE
also i believe their is another error as royal poster i did not change/VFE did not change in its update

In my person opinion so many mods reference reworked areas that it will take a bit for mods to target the right things

my tests 5/17 show that its working so its another mod conflict

I just started getting "red errors" with this mod today after a silent Steam Workshop update that happened a couple hours ago. (I click on show me what mods were updated, but it just sends me to a page of what mods I'm subscribed to...) It says: "XML error: Could not find parent node named "VFE_SimpleBedBase" for node "ThingDef". Full node: <ThingDef ParentName="VFE_SimpleBedBase"><defName>Triple_Ergonomic</defName><label>Triple ergonomic bed</label>" and so on. Triple ergonomic bed, quadra ergonomic bed, and royal poster bed are listed as causing these problems. I verified files, and nothing was found or seems to have changed. (It may be some other mod that interferes with this one, though.) RimSort wasn't placing polyamory beds under VFE, however, I had to manually change that. Doing so does not resolve the error.

Specifically this line: Exception filling window for LudeonTK.Dialog_Debug: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

This happens when I have VFE and Polyamory Beds enabled in my modlist. It also incidentally breaks other mods in strange ways that are all fixed when Polyamory Beds are removed.

For instance, with Yayo's Combat 3, and only if its ammo system is enabled, it breaks Ratkin Cannon functionality from NewRatkinsPlus, preventing the cannon from firing. Disabling Polyamory Beds allows the cannon to fire even with YC3's ammo system enabled.

With Vanilla Furniture Expanded installed, I was getting an error on startup, mentioning AOMorefurniture not being available. I think it might be related a recent change in VFE, where they removed their furniture category and moved all their added buildings into the main furniture section of the Architect menu. Removing the references to AOMorefurniture from the VanillaFurnitureExpanded_Patch.xml file seems to clear it up.

my mod uses rimworld beds as a base so if its compatible with base rimworld their should be no problem in this mod.
