Thank you very much, it's been very hard but reading everyone's comments has really helped me push through on some days, I honestly can't thank everyone enough.
Try to disable ambient rim and let me know if that fixes the problem, otherwise try reducing the number of sound mods that you have enabled, you can also find a workaround in the pinned discussion thread since the issue is just log spamming.
Error executing m_FMODChannel->stop()
Modpack is at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3507289931 if you want to replicate
I really hope things turn around for you irl <3
Please report any problems here and I will fix them as soon as I can.
I honestly just can't tell you, I might port the mod to 1.6 but that's most likely it.
I'm going through a difficult time right now and dealing with a number of problems that are severely impacting me and I'm unsure how they'll affect me in the future.
My priorities have shifted for now and I hope everyone can understand.
The mod is unlisted and won't appear on the workshop. There's a hyperlink in the image above you can click to go to the light version's page.
I'm unable to fix an issue that's not caused by me, unless they actually update their audio system, certain people will remain experiencing this issue, having a new error message won't help me at troubleshooting something I can't fix and there already is a temporary solution for it anyways.
I cannot reproduce the issue at all so I have to rely on other people giving me their error messages, I've spent probably days looking into this problem with very little success and I'm not going to continue wasting my time, I have already provided a lighter version of my mod where this problem does not happen.
I am aware and can't fix it, you can send a message to Ludeon and ask them to fix the problem, use one of the workarounds provided like setting your error log to read-only or using RSE Lite. Please read the pinned thread for known issues.
Thank you very much, I'm surprised I haven't thought of that before.
I have added this as a possible workaround to the pinned discussion thread.
Please read the discussion thread to fix your problem.
It's an unfixable error from my part and needs to be fixed by Ludeon.
I was able to play with the research tree mod totally fine myself for hours on end.

Causes an endless freeze on opening the menu and in the log endlessly repeats the line:
C:\buildslave\unity\build\Modules/Audio/Public/sound/SoundChannel.cpp(152) : Error executing m_FMODChannel->isPlaying(playing) (The specified channel has been reused to play another sound. )
(Filename: Line: 15)

I have released a lighter version of RSE, please go check it out and let me know if that reduces some of the FMOD issues.
I also wanna just say a big thanks for constantly helping me out with reports since I cannot test this error at all on my computer.
Read the pinned discussion.
Please read what tide{S}haper industries said right below your comment.
It's not my fault, nor can I fix it, Ludeon needs to fix it.
Your solution is in the pinned discussion.
C:\buildslave\unity\build\Modules/Audio/Public/sound/SoundChannel.cpp(152) : Error executing m_FMODChannel->isPlaying(playing) (The specified channel has been reused to play another sound. )
(Filename: Line: 15)
The error continues to accumulate in the log, causing problems
(Filename: Line: 15) My log file had 1gb :))
