@sade_n0tfound I would not even begin to know where to begin for a neurotrauma compatibility patch because that mod uses a lot of lua and it would be a lot of work to read through and understand and make a patch. It's a bit beyond me.

the spuds diving suit mentions that it does light chest compression could you work that into functioning better with neurotrauma?

@Swept they are secondary factions taking the place of clowns and husks on occasions, with a reduced chance to spawn compared to clowns and husks. There may need to be an update with the patch, I'm not sure.

Do the new factions get outposts or do they just spawn among other outposts? I'm trying to test the patch you released for SFB/Barooverhaul/DE since we didn't see any of those factions.

@xXSleepXx just drop them and they despawn, it's a bug with transferring subs that removes the "ammo" stored in items like iron and stuff to make the scrap machine pistol work.

i got a new sub and it converted a small,random amount of my metals and some uranium into pellets,what the hell do you do with these things

@Firn It reduces genetic instability if you have it rapidly. Other than that it isn't really necessary. Genetic instability is mostly caused by some new powerful healing items added in the mod

@Natsuk The classic version does get updates, generally less intrusive updates than this mod, more vanilla-friendly style content like maybe new ammo types and such, less game changing content. The two talents that give commendations/medals work sorta like vanilla, you get commendations from one, and if you have both the commendation is replaced with a medal. You just get the one commendation/medal.

does classic version of the mod recieves updates for new versions of the game
in the captain talent tree you could get medals from 2 diffrent talent trees does unlocking both gives you 2 medals per round and can you get them without unlocking accemendtaions talent

@violet yeah thats what i meant. They do work together, but modded jobs feel underwhelming since i guess a compatibility patch would be needed to make them feel up to the stadards of the "vanilla" baroverhaul trees.

Hey so I have a question, is there meant to be quests with the new factions? I have them appear and yet no new quests appear even with the patches installed. The factions spawn in and the events on outposts but idk if quests are meant to appear too to get some kind of faction rep with them.

@PBL I think theoretically they work together but playing with other jobs would mean that those jobs have smaller talent trees compared to the vanilla jobs so they might feel underwhelming. Other than that I think they should work together.

Alright, Probably a thread is maybe easier for public? I maybe missing a few Diving suits or Exo Suits for the coded patch but i will copy and paste what i wrote. I used the base stuff that was there the mod dev left for base game items and basically used that as reference basically

The patch stuff for Real Sonar is not a thing for a mod, Real Sonar has a feature where you can put in a sort of code inside it's settings menu where it can register it and will put the resistance without the need of a mod. It's thanks to Lua for Barotrauma mod for the feature.

hey do you know where i can post the code patch for anyone using real Sonar and this mod? I went through and got some kind of patch code written for use in the Real Sonar "Suit Resistance section to copy and past it into there for anyone using the two together.

@Tittymcswaggy Cell matter wasn't meant to be deconstructable. I think the tooltip might imply it was if I forgot to update it (I can't remember if I did or not) but it giving itself when deconstructed is because it's not meant to give anything

@Lark It should be fine, but if for some reason there are any problems, using a mindwipe fixes any problems with not being able to unlock talents if you have any problem like that

If i have the original mod, am I able to swap to the parallel talent version of this mod without ruining my save? Didn't realize we would be fully locked to the tree because I didn't read the modpage as much as I should have beyond the cool features lol

hey, just wonderin', is the Battle Medic talent supposed to give near full immunity to stun (it says 15% stun resistance but its more like taking 15% stun)? Since when me and my friend were playing (albeit with other mods), we tested it and they were practically immune to stun. even against high stun attacks they just shrugged it off.

just wondering if thats intended or not, thanks :)
