I'm very new to the whole SE modding stuff but I noticed that maybe, just maybe, the controls are created too early in the init chain of the game session. I have yet to try if binding the controls after the session is ready and ensuring these are bound using a flag will solve this issue.
So in order to use this you mount it to your ship or base and if you grappled onto something you have to delete/grind the turret in order to be able to fire it again. Of course all interactions are broken as well.
Could have provided *some* info beside the flavor text

I'M DYING
I'm going to install this mod just because of the description
Are they just part of the skybox, or real physical things that move and change, maybe can be visited and flown through?
Don't go looking at any of the other mods I've made. I would hate for your fragile world to implode.

HAHAHAHAHA Best mod author description all time. 10000000000000000000000000000/10 wp LMFAO *standing ovation*
All that's left of my common artillery turret is a picture. Please bring it back))
The mod generally works. It would be good if it were possible to cut the cable with a grinder. And also so that you can pull up your prey like a fish on a fishing rod)
there is a bug where sometimes it doesn't load properly.
"Whitelisted Gauge's grappling hook turret"
this means wc is no longer removing it without using the unsupported mode.
wc is removing nonwc weaponbased stuff due to it not havig a working ai while wc is loaded ad there was in the past a literal flood about it and as far as it was explained it has to do with how se handles weaponframeworks.
while you can use "/wc unsupportedmode" to keep wc from removing that stuff it wont change that nonwc stuff wont have a working ai.
besides that wc absed ammunitions cant be interceptet by nonwc weapons and vise versa.
there is a whitelist from wc side that lists weaponbased stuff that is just a tool and most of them didnt even have an ai to work to begin with.
