Amazing...! Seeing new units and stuff like this ALWAYS makes me happy, so it's MAJORLY appreciated for making this awesome mod to help supplement the "Veterancy and more" mod, really. :erune:

@Skylance - Thank you for the kind words and the constructive feedback, I did wonder if anyone was using the included megamaps, I'd quite like to do some more whether that is conversion or creation. I will add to the modding radar!

Great to hear some appreciation for my mod, Inspires me to return - Taking a break from modding here currently but I will be returning, There is always additions and changes I would like to make!

@DontCryJustDie - Some appreciation for you too here, I have noticed you helping out as you always do with support across all the mods - Thank you for you that and of course you continuing work on Veterancy and more! When I do return I will be updating any possible new features you've unlocked - Your work is invaluable - Without which none of this would be possible.

Yes, I noticed the rank thing was from your mod. That was my point, it mesh's well with this one and I'm happy to see it included in larger mods like this.

I gave a thumbs up for your mod when I downloaded this. Just to show some appreciation for it. I should probably toss an award for your mod as well, since I already gave one for this mod (credit where it's due, I'll get on that brb).

I sincerely mean it, a simple yet highly effective idea that adds so much to the game.

Also, thanks for the megamap links. I appreciate it. They're not easy to unearth and I spent over an hour looking for some.

Note: Been a long time since I saw that avatar. I mean that in a good way (i.e nostalgic) :D

@SkyLance The special weapons at max rank are from Veterancy & more. The triple shot ARTY weapon was added with Version 32. If you play with 'Normal' speed then it sounds like the Juggernaut from TibSun/Firestorm :steamhappy:

I also uploaded 2 mega maps, which I converted from RA.

This is a high quality mod.

The Veterancy mod really mesh's well with the new units you've added to both Nod and GDI. I spend half my time just trying to max ranks to see what ability they gain (I really like the 3-barrage ability for Artillery). You also really feel it when you lose that elite unit.

I also appreciate you including the 3 megamaps (128x128 maps) in the mod. Would be nice to have a few more, I can't seem to find any on workshop or internet. Except for the Sole Survivor ones, but I'm not sure if those old maps would work with this mod.

Anyway, just wanted to show some appreciation.

My guess is that you have more than one dll mod active. I had several reports where ppl couldn't place the power plant because they had another dll mod active. The only way to fix that is to disable the other dll mods. One can only have 1 dll mod active, this is also stated on my mods description page.

For some reason I am unable to place any buildings down, every time I try to it says "Unable to place building" Hell even tried to place it while the tile was coated in red, yep nothing. Maybe a bug?

@Jazz1255 It is a feature from Veterancy and more , it means you can upgrade that building, just read the description of that mod.

Saviliana, Sure! I can answer that, Its a personal choice - The SHP was a "General" from the Red Alert files, so I thought it was appropriate to use as General Sheppard - I also liked to think in a small way that it was a tribute to Eric Martin who played the character in the FMV's who has now passed.

As for Megan (Who is using a recoloured "Tanya" SHP) I thought a nice link would be do Megan as she was cut from the Red Alert demo as Tanyas Red-Haired partner.

Thanks for the suggestion though, its a possibility for the future to bring in more specialised infantry perhaps with that Lore.

I would also like to add that I am no artist and my graphical skills are limited. I do what I can if anyone would like to donate a SHP/TGA Unit or structure file please feel free to contact! ;)

The scale mod replaces all original infantry graphics with scaled down ones of course that doesn't work with new graphics added by other mods. However, Veterancy & more adds an ini setting to scale any object. Just use the ShapeScale setting on the new infantry.

Open %UserProfile%\Documents\CnCRemastered\Mods\Tiberian_Dawn\Veterancy\Rules\rules_mod.ini and add the following. Maybe you need to change the 50% to something else if it doesn't match the 50% from the other mod.

Great idea unrealnext!, Id suggest if I did that Id attempt to Implement with either an extra "MK2" upgrade capability through Veterancy & more OR if we wanted new graphics then perhaps similar to how I've tweaked the Nuclear Power Plant, by using the Advanced power plant's existing frames as a base and then adding extra sections of frames from another structure (Something I am playing with hence the nuclear power plant)

I've been personally pleased with that however I'm still trying to understand the metadata part of the TGA files. I've used the TGAUTIL.py and I hoped it would generate the meta from that.

However I am not getting the expected results in generating the meta. In the case of the "Nuclear power plant" I used the original metadata from the Advanced Power Plant buildup. Not too much info out there on that one. (Or I'm looking in the wrong place) More of an issue if creating a "New" unit from scratch IMO.

What about implementing a higher performance adv guard tower with renegade specifications in the GDI?
The performance would be like a guard tower with an additional machine gun and detection capability.

Thanks Both for the comments! - I believe I did indeed make an error with the folder structure. This should now be fixed with the version I've just uploaded. I have given it personally a quick test with the unsubscribe and resubscribe guide and now seems well. :steamthumbsup:

@gameluna you can fix it. Open "SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1213210\3280980719" and then move the ccmod.json file and CCDATA, Data, Rules folders inside the TibDawnExpansion folder. Or just wait for RangerbeastDrill to upload a fixed version.

After the update of the nuclear power plant, the mod option in the game cannot display this mod, cannot enable the mod, and cannot be displayed even after repeatedly deleting subscriptions. Please fix this problem. Thank you

Thanks Bro, i done with it, i can play with full images now :)) but new infantry cant scale size -50% with other mod :))) i have big and smal infantrys in a battle :))

1. Subscribe to Veterancy & more - that mod adds all the new features.
2. Subscribe to RA-Assets - that mod adds most assets from Red Alert.
3. Subscribe to Tiberian Dawn Expansion Pack - this mod makes several Red Alert objects available ingame along with other changes.

Then start the game, go into options menu, click on Mods and activate the 3 mods, then restart the game.

Now start a mission or skirmish, when you get the message "Veterancy: XML files were modified, please restart the game." restart the game again.

After that the white squares should be gone. If the game crashes now add the NOSPLASHPRELOAD start option as described on the RA-Assets mods page.

I remember there was a notification to choose 2 mods after I entered the game, I don't remember what I clicked, but now, after unsub and re-Sub the mods as you mentioned, I don't see that notification panel again. , and the images of the new units are still error :((

Hi Zezz! , you may have needed to restart the game after enabling the mod. First when enabling "Veterancy and more" and then after enabling mine. Did you see the "Xml files have changed please restart the game" in the top left when you entered the game? Usually this cures the issue. :steamthumbsup:

Excellent mod, but image units isnt work, only white square in game, although the new units functionality still works
