Id assume another mod would have to be made for Modern Combat. I need a hero lol.
I know someone has the same feeling as I to run a modern vs old conquest soon enough, but im no good at modding.

oooh . in that case it doesn't work.

Go to

\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3285092313\

then to

\resource\set\dynamic_campaign

and delete values.set - this removes the "any vs any" feature from the mod. you're left with the all in one maps and the RP rates.

or

If you're feeling extra brave look for the "values.set" file in Mace and get the faction names from there. and combine them yourself.
Same issue as Anzoi. Crashes if clicking next in faction selector for Japan.

@Rex I only have MACE and this mod on and the game crashes when I choose Japan in conquest, so I think it doesn't work. Will wait for an update or something.

Go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\400750\3285092313\

You know it's the right one because it has the Conquest Unlock JPG in there :)

then to

\resource\set\dynamic_campaign\

then open (with notepad) "resources_high.set" (or very high, etc, depending on your difficulty)

it's a very small file, don't worry.

then find this:

These are the enemies for each star. Replace bot resources from 1.0 to 0.75
e.g. {BotResources 0.75} to get fewer enemies.

Keep in mind that you might end up with very few enemies early on but more balanced numbers later. as far as i know this is the only variable that controls the enemy count.

Cause you are right, with time you reach a point that you get so much enemies in so much waves that doesn't matter what is defending on your side, you are deffinetly losing at least 60% of it even if you win till they deplet your money and ammo

Maybe there is a way to stop the scaling? Idk if it is possible to calculate their cp based on tech, or maybe just to use the same CP ammout you are able to use when going? Would make the game more fair and enjoyable in late stages

@Leozingameplays Increasing your CP won’t really help — the enemy’s strength scales based on your CP anyway. Personally, I’d recommend running with just 3 groups on lower difficulty (higher economy). This way, the enemy hits their reinforcement cap much earlier. That said, I rarely play beyond day 25. The game just gets painfully slow at that point. Victory starts coming more from grinding down endless waves of enemies rather than capturing objectives — and that’s usually when I lose interest and start a new run. That’s actually why I made this mod: to add more variety and keep things fresh.

Any way you would add an extension of the CP you get? Is kinda bad how small your army usually is in comparison to the enemy in defense and attack: you can get swarmed by 20 to 40 cp tanks, absurd ammounts of infantry and AT guns and all you can use to fight is a couple troops that fit the ridiculously low limit

Can you make a version where you can only play every nation against every nation and have all the cards?
I use the spawn menu and the Not Enough Ammo mod for the ammunition, so there may be conflicts with this mod.

It's a stand alone version so you need to have this one deactivated.

Can we get an Ostfront only map option if you pick default campaign? A few of my friends only bought base game during the sale and I would like to keep using your mod when playing with them

This is the kind of thing we need in Vanilla Ostfront. I know some people would take issue with a unhistorical combat but this just adds WAY more replayability to the game.
