@turkler It's my fault for using 2 mods that change the same in game items.

Im sorry if I came across as complaining about it, my intent was to share a "Look at this funny interaction I ran into" moment. I genuinely love the mod and the whole scravenger feel and junkyard ruins aesthetic.

Decided to give this a try to fit a scrapper/scavenger type play through with vehicles. While using "VVE - Deconstructable Vehicles Junk" I ended up with a cluster of the ancient vehicle engines, and mining them got me components AND engine blocks. Had like 35 engines in a couple minutes. Other than that, great mod!

@tanyfilina every junk group has the field coveredCellsPer10Cells>X~Z</coveredCellsPer10Cells, reduce entries with those values around 3-4 to 1-2

Which parameter should I tweak to make them smaller? I've tried "lump size" in RIMMSqol, but that seems to have minor effect.

@tanyfilina that's intended, some of the junk groups are a bit more dense to make up for the removal of compacted machinery from world generation

I'm getting horrible amounts of this junk, really large groups like of 20-30 items or more. Probably some mod interaction though.

@lydocia it's an issue on that mod's end probably - this mod uses the vanilla junk scatterer step

@Lydocia, that is probably an issue with Geological Landforms, since it controls the map generation for those maps.

Also, this doesn't work well with geological landforms - on maps with landforms like lakes or coasts, there is no salvage to get components from but there are also no compacted components generated.

A small caveat I have with this mod is that the screen shakes slightly when they are mined out, not a big issue but it gets annoying with super fast miners

Would it be possible to spawn less scrap items, make them drop more compact machinery but make them harder to mine? It looks kinda weird to have 38 engines lying on the ground in one spot

This seems to be in conflict with DBH Addons, which makes the kitchen sinks into useable sinks. With both installed it makes the sinks appear as a 9x9 square. I don't know if it effects their functionality or not. Would it be possible to patch for this?

let me try another way, can you put mod options with the option for players to preserve the vanilla behavior of digging out components from exposed geology while also benefiting from your vision of what you think the game must be for anyone that must use this mod?
