For some reason, the tags on vehicles do not activate the map expansion. All the infantry have the tags, so you must push up your tanks with infantry support. I tried my best yall. Just dont have the time of patience to figure out the editor to its full extent. The map works relatively ok when you push up everybody together. The map is not a square, it is shaped like a Z which means certain parts have to be left behind unless i want unfinished parts of the map showing. At this point I give up so yall take the map and do what you want with it :/

Once I take over the square it says to eliminate ambushing cannon, but the map does not expand and I cant find it.

Yeah there is a towed ammo trailer and then later an ammo truck that comes in. Also, the flak gun has an ammo crate that may or may not survive an explosion.

Hello, first I wanted to say that I regret this problem that the structure of the game itself prevents MOD creators from doing more things... but what I would like to know now is if at any point on the map when we conquer there is an ammunition vehicle coming or even that box that two men carry... I ask because as I haven't had time to play anymore these days I didn't get past the first block and a lot of my ammunition was used up and as the soldiers available there have little ammunition I have to get it weapons and ammunition of the dead (mine or enemies)... I've always done this since Men of War but I just wanted to know because in the case of tanks, I don't know if I'll be able to replace the ammunition... even if I save it... or that of the vehicle that has a .50 machine gun.

The map is shaped like a z so sections get lost. Use the building rubble, wrecked vehicles, and smoke to cover your advance. I will work on maybe adding a new portion to the map to smooth out the transition but this will take some time since this is just a fun side project. There are over 10,833 things placed already not including infantry, tanks, planes, and mission-related assets so unsure if I will be adding more due to reasons stated above.

In the mission description, it tells you to keep your units together. I can only handhold so much. Due to the structure of the physical map itself not being a perfect square (to enhance your playing experience and combat lag/crashes due to memory issues), the borders do not allow me to include the starting area without building a whole other city block with infantry, tanks, scripting, etc. I do understand the frustration but I'm limited to what the game allows me to do. If map borders could be shaped as polygons this would be easily possible but we are limited to rectangles and squares.

heyyy, huge complaint. hit the trigger for the pantherturm and i still hadnt moved my units up or knocked out the flak gun, was a pain when all my units were offmap and the flak was still alive. plase change this so it dosent hide the part of the map you started on when i reach the intersection

Just informing you that I did the MOD test without the other USSR tank MOD and you are indeed right... the two tanks that appear at the beginning of the mission are another type of T-34/85 and their commanders are inside the tanks and not exposed... now I know that if I choose to put the tank MOD I will have one of the T-34 crew members killed right at the beginning... although it won't be much of a problem because in the editor I can put another crew member in its place. Thanks for finding out what was going on.

Hello, please, you don't need to apologize for anything...you may actually be correct....it may be that the USSR tanks MOD has the commander looking through the entrance hatch and thus is vulnerable at the beginning of the game because I remember that the second tank on the side and a little further back, the commander was also looking through the hatch and although he was not in danger there I took him inside until I advanced safely... I will do the test without the MOD but I believe you deciphered the riddle...probably the MOD tanks allow most or all tanks to open the hatch...about the IS2 tank I haven't gotten to it yet, I've only played a little test.

Just to confirm I went into the editor and spawned every generation of t-34 tank available in the vanilla game without mods installed. None of the t-34 tanks have commander hatches that can be opened/peaked out of nor commander machine guns. It almost certainly is a separate mod that enables that function and is causing the issue. Try playing around with the stuff you have enable? If issues persist Im not really sure how to help there. Sorry about that :/

That might be the issue, the mods you are using must be adding a commander's hatch gunner position because the vanilla unmodded game (at least where Im at) does not have t34 commander gunner positions. Unless you are talking about the is-2's by the railroad

Yes there is...as I always play in the EDITOR, sometimes I use a MOD in it along with vehicles in general and soldiers...I have downloaded a good number of it and in the MOD Tanks USSR from War Thunder there are two models of T-34 with machine gun in the tower for the commander... give me an example... T-34 M 1944... this is one that has the gun... but I didn't put it in your MOD... I'm following the originals from the MOD itself.

@Mosesjns I just added a folder that I think should add the environment to the game. You may have to unsubscribe, restart the game, and then re-subscribe to get the changes but please let me know if I fixed it. Everything has looked fine on my end because I have the original custom environment in my game files.

Heyo, so Ive been mission testing and my t34's don't have machine guns that can be mounted in the commanders hatch nor a place to mount them. They don't even have the option to pop their heads out of the hatch. You are saying that your t34 tanks have machine gun mounts?

For me when i launc the mission the sky is all black did you make a custom environment? if so it is saved in your Game directory under resources - Sets folder I changed it myself via editor. If you use a vanilla already existing environment you dont have to worry about the black sky problem as long as u hit save after u select 1 of them.

Yes, it's true...there are German tanks where the commander can have part of his body exposed...I sometimes use it myself...there are also Russian tanks that use it and American ones...I like it better when there is a machine gun there that they can defend themselves...but when there is a lot of danger, I retreat them into the tank until it becomes less dangerous...in the case of these models at the beginning of the MOD...they don't have that machine gun...at all If so, thanks for your attention...if I see more I'll let you know.

Message received. I will have to look because commanders should not be able to pop their heads out from the t34's turret hatch in the base game. I know some german tanks have commanders "looking out the copala" when in reality they are on the gun mount with said gun removed. I will do some testing, thanks for the heads up.

Hello, I wanted to report something that I've seen happen the two times I've played a little (I don't have time to play more yet... but I think I will soon be able to)... what I'm reporting is that it happened these two times I played, the T-34 tank that is further down the street that the Russians enter loses its commander practically immediately... there is no time to put him inside the tank and close the hatch... I believe that as he is exposed with the hatch is open, it is easily within reach of a German soldier who is on this side street that goes to the left... I wanted to know if you had already seen that this happens, I also believe that this happens because the turret of this T-34 model does not have a machine gun that the commander controls externally...although there is a pedestal for a machine gun there...in this case, if you can place it inside the tank I would appreciate it...it's just the tank further forward.

To make a minimap is super easy. pres f2 go to map borders at the bottom it says generate minimap preview. Click that. Go to your Main folder and see if its in the resources folder or i think it also places the minimap in the already existing mod sometimes. Than u just have to restart game and it will show up

The mission is only two days on the workshop so I'm still ironing out some things, this feedback is super helpful. I could try to fix this issue for that first section by expanding the map a bit to the north but would like to avoid as much unnecessary lag as possible. The map expands 3 times so my advice for now is to try to keep your soldiers a maximum 30 meters from each other when doing pushes through new territory. That way if the map does expand, they might still be able to be directly controlled back onto the map.

So the idea is that you push up as the map progresses. I know it isn't ideal, but to prevent the world from experiencing too much lag (over 100,000 entities placed), not all the city blocks have been built around the parts that are in the fog. For the second part of the map to expand, the world border shrinks (otherwise incomplete parts of the city show). I have tried changing certain world borders (in the editor there is a pink border that restricts troop movements) to allow your soldiers to re-enter the map from outside the boundaries but this breaks when you change the soldiers from AI-controlled to player-controlled.

Hello, I have a question...a strange thing happened...well I started the mission and moved forward with a small group ahead, opening the way for another T-34 and the escort vehicle with a .50 machine gun and behind a little some soldiers remained... about 6 and a Russian jeep and the other T-34 tank... the case is that upon completing the crossing to destroy the 88mm that was at another crossing... the message said that a new mission was starting and I had to destroy a panther turret that is on the ground on the street to the right of the intersection where my soldiers were... when I went to pick up six soldiers who stayed behind and the other T-34, there was a line behind my soldiers that they were at this initial intersection and the soldiers and the T-34 weren't coming to me...I saw them...I marked them all to advance towards our group but they weren't coming...I wanted to understand why when opening a new part of the map this line appears and I can't get the rest of my troops?
