Roofless hull for SOS2

My colonists keep building roofs above those, do i restrict them doing so or let it be?

Getting the following error on load using just core (all expansions), Roofless hull, and its dependencies:

I was also having the issue where moving the ship caused the Roofless Hull to stay behind.

I found putting it on top of a Hardpoint (like a turret) seems to make it say connected to the ship. Its expensive but works.

Can the hangar plating Rendering under the artificial soil substrate?just like the hull plating.
I want to use it to build a space ecological dome,and I hope to see the texture of the soil.

@Pertominus no, there would be no point in using it without SOS2 because it just adds a hull for your spaceship. You can't go to space using srts alone

will do once ive sorted myself out at home ill have a mess with the mods again also better loading has helped me with my current mod list without it i seem to get more red errors than without it but ill have a play as i said thanks. :steamthumbsup:

@cllmsteele I wasn't aware of this bug when rotating or moving, will look into it

Thanks for the logs, did you experience the crash ingame during this session or just loaded to the main menu?
I see errors related to: Project RimFactory - Materials, a mod adding furnitures, one related to melee combat (?), one using shaders. My mod seems to be loaded and didn't log any error

Also you're using BetterLoading which is known to mess with some mods including mine, had the problem in the past where it broke some modlist. Could you disable it and try again please?

also just to let you know im sure you already know this but when rotating or moving ship on grid it tends to leave behind the roofless hull so i have to re build it

Welp,vanilla sos2 bays not allows royalty shuttle lands on them.Even when description says it does.

@Backrevol Everything that needs an open roof will work, still there is a caveat with vanilla drop pods where you can launch them from a spacecraft but not land there. I didn't touch the targeting system and altitude doesn't exist in the base game

also thank you for the advice with rimpy,as i was using it through github before 1.5,otherwise the time I spend debugging the mod sorting will at least doubling as present.

@微月吨日亿万千的马甲 been busy sorry for the delay. I was only able to reproduce your bug using an incorrect mod order. Using Real ruins > VF > SRTS > SOS2 > roofless fixed the issue, tell me if you need more help
Also I would like to recommand RimPy (mod + .exe), it's an off-game mod manager so you can change your order/list without launching rimworld

After a rough test, in order to combine the current list, half of the mods that did not cause changes have been deleted, but if i want to further test the sorting, each experiment will take at least half an hour.......

There is a weird chain reaction between this mod and SRTS and other unknown mods, which causes a vicious bug, which will cause the SRTS to have no option to launch the spacecraft.

After testing, removing this mod can solve the problem. The specific cause of the bug is not clear at present, but if others encounter the same problem, you can use my method to temporarily solve the problem.

@Franz for the most part yes, but the internal compatibility patch from srts was disabled during the sos2 copyright problem and there is a few quirks. ex: when launching a ship space-to-space it will traverse the whole map before because it's still on a "2D plane" (careful with the fuel), or the srts ships needing to be unroofed thus needing this mod

@ludi1989 you have multiple chunks of log spam, from what I saw:
- Vanilla expanded skills L.4196

- NepSmallerTurbines (?) L.4849
- MVCF L.5259
- faction control L.6666
- prepare landing L.6710 (just before null texture)

Your lag->crash may come from one of those but I suggest you install Dubs Performance Analyzer to check which mod takes the longest to run

Hello again, you've helped me a lot last time, I was wondering if You could help me a little again. As you've noticed, I am using a lot of mods and I am still getting spammed by the "null texture passed to GUI.DrawTexture" notification. Can you help me pinpoint the cause of that? I can't understand anything from the log file :/ most mod names that come up are actually working fine. The worst is that because of null texture spam my game lags a lot and finally crashes to the desktop. Here is my log file link:

@ludi1989, there is an error just above the "null texture passed to GUI.DrawTexture" spam and it's related to Alert_ProjectorTowerRoofed which isn't part of my mod. I can only find references to it in the "miningCo Projector" and "rimhammer 40k" projects, it may be from a closed source mod tho

This mod is stuc on an infinite loop of Rimworld trying to load... idk, it's textures? Up to the point where null texture passed to GUI.DrawTexture

@Lightcaster this was a bug in a previous version but I already fixed it, did you subscribe before the 16/07? If yes perhaps you should un/resubscribe, otherwise I cannot reproduce your bug as my fridges are working in space and on land. Could you give me more info or a screenshot please?

idk what's causing it, but this mod seems to be causing all of my indoor rooms to *always* be 21C no matter what, which makes it impossible to make fridge rooms, etc. I tried it with just this mod and SOS2 and it was still happening for me

@N.Alcatraz Not that I'm aware of, my dev mod list is pretty short with the bare minimum but I've also been using the mod in my heavy main list

the HUD disappear when it's loaded,

is there a conflict with mods ?
