@Warzen I edited and removed all references to Leight's in the mission.sqm's addons and addonsauto categories and I checked all of the units (THAT took a while >.>) to make sure only vanilla ArmA 3 units were present in the mission. Thank you for your continued patience. A fix is on the way.

@Warzen the other bane of my existence (besides pain in the ass fake requirements): I don't know how to make a helicopter drop off units AND fly away without taking half the AI with it or killing them. A3 helicopters don't act like A2 helicopters :(

Good question. May be the chopper is taking off after I'm automatically disembarked and some AI are not quick enough to goes out before the chopper is taking some altitude... I need to double check that.

While you're at it, could check the begining of the mission: I always end up with half the AI dead just after they disembark from the copter

edit the mission.sqm and remove the "lop_c_veh_offroad" at the begining, in the addOns[]= section.

PWS = playwithsix, a tool to download and update mods.

To remove addon dependency, you have to remove some lines in the mission.sqm IIRC.
I'll do some additionnal research and post more info here later this w-e.
And no, you don't have to rebuild your mission from scratch ! :)

What is PWS? Is there a conflict between it and Leights?
And I very much *want* to remove the Leights dependency, but there's a serious issue with ArmA: I had the mod running while editing this mission, I probably placed an unit for testing, but the mission itself actually has no Leights units anywhere on it.
I had the same problem with Mission 2, where units that I hadn't placed anywhere on the map, for whatever reason, are still required to play it.
I actually built Episode 2 from scratch like 4 times >.>

Thank you for playing the second mission after this one failed to work. I'm really depressed about having to scrap this so it will take time for this mission to be remade again.

could you remove the LEIGHTS dependency ? with this addon, PWS is not even able to launch arma and is causing an error.
I tried episode 2 of this campaign and it's really good. so bad I can't play the first one...

Letme know how code executes in multiplayer; I haven't tested any of these missions in COOP (I don't know how to host missions and neither do any of my testers...). I use a lot of lazy code that calls "Player" instead of the unit's name because I don't understand global variables in the BI scripting language or how to have the code check if in multiplayer or singleplayer, so I don't know if any of the conversations work correctly or not.

@sendjese I considered including VAS in my missions but I have 2 problems with it. First, I'm lazy; the way I get the UAV shot, briefing, et cetera into the game is a program designed by someone else and it's a pain to put the exec whatever whatever vas/vas.sqf code. I know that's not a great excuse. The other reason is, personally, I'm torn on immersion-versus-using mod content. I want these missions to depict a trained but moderately supplied force and VAS makes the player a ghillie-suited, LMG + thermal vision + anti-material rifle + eighty thousand grenades 1-man army.

@sendjes Thank you very, very much. I don't know why Leights_OPFOR is a requirement (I had it running while editing this mission but didn't spawn any units using it). If it wasn't for people like you doing my job for me, none of these missions would work correctly.

Brilliant First Mission, i thoroughly enjoyed it. However, that was a bad village to assault, i lost a lot of guys taking the first row or houses and the ditch/valley to the North-West just outside the town.
The AAF troops fitted into the mission brillantly. Any other Force would've ruined it in my opinion. I did have the problem with the helo where it touched down and took off straight after. I just told my team to disembark and it landed again.

Just one request, could you please delete the cargo box just South-West of the 'Supplies' Marker as has been used as the supply box in other missions and i spend a long time and most of the explosives trying to destroy it.

Thanks for uploading this and i hope the rest of the campaign is just as good as this mission

The hidden cargo box covered in nets is the supply cache. You can shoot it, or plant explosives. (1 magazine of 5.56 will work)

@SSD Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I've fiddled with the waypoint, but I think a lot of recent scenario submissions have had issues with "Transport unload" waypoints-at least, that's what I've heard from other mission makers. It's either a change in AI or I forgot how dostop works. :)

could be mod related but I have to rapidly get out of the helicopter or it takes off almost instantly after landing at the LZ. once I get out, it immediately takes back off and lands somewhere else to the S/SW and the guys in the heli get out there.

@SSD You *should* insert with a few men on the helicopter. You tell them to disembark and they follow you to regroup with Juliet, which joins your squad. What is happening for you?

@Grandma Yogapants I removed the Missing Units requirement; all the "Dagger" units were replaced with conventional AAF units so only 1 obnoxious download was required. Are you still having problems? When did you play?

Thanks for making missions for thisawesome map. You should put a notice to download the Missing Units mod before playing the map or else it doesn't work.

I can be around for a while helicopter, you can extend the landing so that the entire team could get off; use the addon CAF_AGRESSORS to the next section, I noticed ammoboxu virtual action.
