This is pretty much the first TP3 map where I kind of escape the feeling of going in circles on a model railway layout.
A lot of the curves could use superelevation though, because my trains like to derail when going through curves at reasonable speeds.

trees are missing textures (might need to add a dependency) and dispatch panel page 1 spams errors, other than that seems decent so far

Thanks guys

So underrated, I hope you find the time to keep working on this, excited to see this progress. There is nothing like this on the workshop atm and nothing that really quite grasps the realism that this provides. Amazing keep up the good work.

i hope you find the time to finish this, its probably my favorite now among all tb maps

Thanks Ms Mari! 😊

Oh and by the way, it's a good idea to mention TrakPak3 in your description. I wouldn't have found this map hadn't I been browsing a collection.

I should note though that my catenary props will of course be to German light rail standard so the mounting hardware that you've got there won't match up.

Whatever you decide on, my trains use collision tracing for tracking height (no collision on the panto itself so it doesn't get snagged on anything) so anything that has got collision will influence the panto. If you're interested in making accommodations for them, that's the rule of thumb.
Linnie  [author] 12 Nov, 2024 @ 7:17pm
That would be awesome. Problem I'm having right now is I added catenary wires as func_detail to Waterfall and it caused all the func_details to disappear at certain viewing angles. Alternatively I would have to make unique wire models for every span, so I shall see what I can do about that.
Lily The Lesbian 12 Nov, 2024 @ 8:06am
If you could add catenary that has got collision (through brushes or similar) then my Metrostroi trains would have working pantos on this map.

I'm getting around to making catenary props eventually so you could even use those if you like.

@Linnie okay soo i tried it again and the Catenary Pillars did get moved enough to prevent the train from getting caught. I did see the new signals that got added which is a thumbs up from me. I think it's my train that is now jumping the tracks to smite me.
SpectraStar 8 Aug, 2024 @ 6:14am
I am going to try today
Linnie  [author] 6 Aug, 2024 @ 7:06am
Have you tried it recently? I thought I fixed that one
SpectraStar 5 Aug, 2024 @ 11:24pm
@Linnie it was the one immediately outside the tunnel on the Stanwell Park side
Linnie  [author] 1 Aug, 2024 @ 11:10pm
@SpectraStar Which Catenary pillar? And where else did you derail?
SpectraStar 1 Aug, 2024 @ 8:33pm
i was running one of my trains and it jumped the tracks a couple times on the engine and the first car caught on one of the cantinary pillars after coming out of the tunnel near Stanwell Park. Also more signals may be needed

@Somewhat Chaotic The textures are from The Big Shared Texture Pack. Forgot to add it, whoops
Somewhat Chaotic 21 Jul, 2024 @ 11:04pm
Little annoying that all the posts are missing texture despite me having all the content it says but other than that this is a pretty damn good map and has plenty of potential for scenery
Jnohara 20 Jul, 2024 @ 6:56pm
Amazing work man, also very good to see you're still alive
