Fair. I used to make mods for fallout 3 but honestly... its a thankless thing most of the time. I gave it up when it became hard to do what I wanted to see, and not just what everyone else was demanding. If i had the skill to do the art i'd gladly try to do a vacsuit reskin but yeah.

Either way, thanks for this mod, it got to the point that I cant play without it now. I do NOT get what the flak jacket is meant to be, so swapping it to sunrise is mandatory.

Only a quick update to 1.6 at this time, just so I'm not contributing to any 'mod out-of-date' errors on startup

Honestly man... this may be one of my most important mods in the list. Unintrusive way to get things flavored more Stalker. I just wish we got people making anomalies and shit. A blowout system would have been fucking epic. BUT yeah. FOr now I got this. And I cherish it. Thank you. I hope to see more Stalker stuff... but this is enough for now.

I think there is an xml attribute for apparel that is called "<canBeDesiredForIdeo>".

Does anyone know a good way or mod to make gas masks preferred apparel for an ideology? They arent an option in vanilla and since everyone will wear them for this aesthetic anyway id be nice to get ideology benefits for it

Yes, it's CE Compatible. All it does is add a new (and quite EPIC) style to armors.

This mod is incredibly cool. Definitely one of my favorites!

It'd be really cool to see some furniture for this style too, but the armor and weapon reskins look awesome. Great source material for the idea.

@ополоченец The mosin, as well as the kiparis (machine pistol) and RPK (LMG) are also not in the base games, but do show up in some of the community made content, I felt that they were fitting, and in the end, this style pack is inspired by stalker, not a 1-to-1 recreation.

@pterribleDactylus: I want to avoid renaming too many items, a few flavor texts on the armor, and a revolver rename is enough of a change without doing too much.

If the revolver is gonna be renamed, wouldn't it make sense to rename the minigun as well? Maybe renaming the charge weapons as well?

Hey, i loved the mod and its so good to finally do a Stalker-like play-through. But i just want to point out that to be able to use the Gas Mask and Face Mask u will need the Biotech DLC.

@ravinglegend After some investigating. The DDS files are bloating the filesize, I'm going to look into the pros and cons. But thank you for bringing this up, input like this helps me get a better understanding of mod stuff.

It might be a good idea to look at the resolution of textures from vanilla expanded mods if you want to reduce the size. Some people who use graphic enhancing mods so that rimworld does not compress modded textures may like it as it is for better graphics. I think VE core has an option for uncompressed modded textures but I may be thinking of a different mod. I try to keep mod size down so the game loads faster as it can takes a very long time with a lot of mods. I used to wait 45 minutes to an hour in 1.2, but some people with a lot of mods still do despite updates.

@ravinglegend a good chunk is from the armors and their prestige counterparts, being in 512x512 along with the color mask files, and then dds files of each image. I'll admit that I couldn't find any info on optimizing mods, 256x256 may have been good enough but I just went on what I saw other mods doing. It might be worth seeing if I can scale them down without it hurting quality too much.
