@Hitilit ah, I did not do any string key edits for other languages so that makes sense.

It turned out to be something else. My game language is not English. Your mod works, but the description does not work. That is, walking on fire / water I get the effects as described in the screenshot, but if you hover the mouse, the description in my language and not changed.

@Hitilit it needs to load after any other mods you might have that change surfaces or DoTs, so if you run Conflux or Unleashed this would need to go after them. Also this mod requires the script extender so if it isnt working that is probably why.

@Malchezzar

How high does this mod need to be? At the end of the list and at the beginning of the list it apparently doesn't work.

Just fyi for people, I have added support for the Leech talent to negate fumbling on water and blood, adding additional ways to bypass that effect for builds that might not have access to favorable wind or elemental affinity.

@heptonite Glad you are enjoying it! I do agree it can be rough at times, but that's part of the tactical play and makes those surfaces undesirable to be in. It also happens to NPCs though so it helps as much as it hurts usually.

I kinda agree with Exovi in regards to fumbling spells in water/blood. The chance may be lower than the other effects, but I'm finding in practice it tends to happen quite a lot in my testing.

On one hand it adds a tactical element to the game, on the other it makes melee characters like rogues and knights fumble more since dealing and receiving physical damage puts blood on the floor. Ranged characters don't have to deal with this on top of already having the advantage of being able to be on high ground.

Overall I love the mod and am using your new Tactician Armor mod as well.

@Exovi its a lower chance than the other effects, and not as common as you'd think. If it turns out to be too much (it hasn't so far) then I can reduce it further. It's slipping which is very in line with what you'd expect to happen with tons of water.

Looks great but the water one sounds pretty rough, honestly straight up fumbling a spell is putting me off the mod. I think extra wet or maybe slightly less movement would be enough!

Congrats on release man!

@Apothos I don't believe that would be possible, you can check for if they are in surfaces period but as far as knowing if it is the same surface or not is probably impossible.

i always thought it was weird that oil doesn't have a chance to knock down
