update: the config to change the conning tower light to red breaks the mod entirely

this mod is working! only issue is when exiting the hatch on the conning tower, all the street lights in the port have their beams extremely blown out in brightness, until you top the ladder and it returns to normal values. very strange

Solution: Go to the crew management screen, go to the Boat tab and turn off auto light management

Hey! I am back to report that it is not only working, but also working on on-going saves!

The light will be a bit weird at first but going to night light to normal lighting will fix it

@Madmax I dont have excel so i use a program called LibreOffice Writer thats free and does the same thing. hope this helps.

No. You need to set it with every update of the mod.
It will reset to defaults when the mod updates. No way around that, at least not to my knowledge.

I set it to red in conning tower and it worked other day. i did say the tile. but today i played and it had reset itself and no re light in conning tower. do i have to set it every time i load a game?

That's intended. Set Realistic Lighting Colors to False if you want to get rid of it.

i might have an issue, it seems as day lights are yellowish, red liights are dark yellow and blue lights are red, dunno if its suppose to be like this

-Fixed Auto Silent not working

Something happens when using "Auto Silent Only when Alarmed" set to FALSE. When diving, boat jumps back to surface at about 9-12m depth and then dives again.

Even when "Auto Silent Only when Alarmed" set to TRUE and alarm is aktive, it does not switch to silent running.

Checked light switch in game "Automatic Silent Running" is activated.

Would be awesome if you can look into it.

Your last change fixed my problem. Lights work as before. Tried red conning tower and this works as well. So this must be some sort of problem with the custom light colors for some of us. Nevertheless: Thank you for this awesome mod and this super fast support (while not even getting paid for it!). Big Thumbs Up!

For now I've removed custom light colors, back to hardcoded values.

If this doesn't fix whatever is broken for you guys, then something deeper is going on.

Sry , the problem is, that its a flash light in the boot if y zoom in. When disable the mod it still work at standard.

sq_paradox, tested 1 minute ago. I now cannot see boats interieur anymore - a white bright light all over the boat. There is a smooth green border around the white light. I will upload a screen in minutes. I only have activated this mod, nerver touched config file. It happens with Typ VII ond II boats. I also unsubscribed and subscribed again in order to get your latest files.

Same here, Sub Type IID, no errors, manually silent running works fine for red lights. Normal and Night light had bright green. After changing RGB to all 1.0 i have to dim down to day 40% to have an acceptable lighting.

Could you post what settings you are using for the mod. Along with the sub (Type II/Type VII)
and preferably the output.log file, or at least any errors from it.

Light Colors are now customizable.
If the color reverts back that means it can't read what you put in and fell back to defaults.
Added option to use red light in the conning tower at night.
Only applies when also using Realistic Light Colors.

If you want red light in the conning tower without the colored lights, just set Day Mode Color and Night Mode Color to 1.0, 1.0, 1.0.

I have a question/request but i am going to guess its too hard to do but could the conning tower go to red lighting only when your mod switches the boat to night light mode? Just the conning tower leaving the rest at your low warm yellow tone? Would be so cool if only the conning tower did swap to red at night time.

Hey GJC. Problem here is, its a seperate scene that is loaded. You are not in the boat in that moment. Maybe we can find a solution for that.
