the barks are far too few, a lot of unaccommodated events, and lack diversity in the existing ones.

Oni's base DMG is indeed quite high. But it is not Leper damage (Leper caps out at 13-26, vs Oni's 11-22). While Chop pays for its higher base DMG in both ACC and CRIT, Obliterate pays primarily in critrate (being one of the lowest-critrate bonks vs vanilla; Roar's critrate is similarly awful, and doesn't scale with levels).

"While Marked" is difficult to balance, because vanilla monster AI is a mess. It barely cares in Apprentice; somewhat punishes you in Veteran; and rips your face off with a belt sander for Marking your heroes in Champion. In the end, I just had to accept that, if I wanted the gimmick to be fun/functional in Champ, she would unavoidably be a little overtuned in Apprentice content.

I really want to like this mod, especially because it's the first Touhou mod I've actually seen for DD, but I have one large problem with this mod.

Simply put, the raw damage is too high. She's dealing Leper Damage before any buffs without the corresponding low Accuracy, and it's both too for her to mark herself to get the bonus damage from her two basic attacks and not punishing enough to be marked. And that's not even getting into her riposte.

That said, there are several parts of her design I do like. I love the idea of a character that gets buffs while they're marked, and I would adore the frontline tank role she has if she didn't do it so much better than every base game class and several fairly good modded ones. I also *adore* the Guaranteed Night Ambush ability, simply because it's so fun to use.

I just installed it and it seems to have lost the Spanish localization, the CoM trinket has the typical blue letter error, I don't know if everything else about the character is missing the localization since one hasn't appeared yet so I can recruit

Very big Oni， very cool mod。 I like her， but she is a bit overpowered, especially with her sunward trinket and the normal trinket that gives her enemy bonus with low torch light.

For a while, there was a bug where she could only virtue. I fixed it ~3 weeks ago.
After the fix, she has the same affliction/virtue chances as a normal hero.

What are chances of her getting a virtue? I always seem to get it until today where she suddenly decided to suffer a affliction (fearful)

This one was fun for sure, she can hit, take a hit, riposte, attack enemy backline from the front and get back into the fight. Her quips and barks also made me smile, good job, author :)

Oni's growth rate is identical to vanilla heroes. I take scaling VERY seriously, and spent a lot of time ensuring it was correct.

Oni's Base DMG: 7-14 -> 11-22 (increase: ~57%)
This is directly between Crusader & Leper:
Crusader: 6-12 -> 10-19 (increase: ~58%)
Leper: 8-16 -> 13-26 (increase: 62.5%)

Her "DMG while Marked" bonus scales 15 -> 35%. This is identical to things like Crusader's "+DMG vs Unholy". While more universal, it is justified, as being Marked is a MUCH greater liability at Veteran and Champion (due to AI changes, and additional enemies with Bonus DMG vs Marked).

Oni's HP is always 3 points behind Man-at-Arms. From lv1 to lv5, vanilla hero HP increases by 71-87%. Hers increases by 86%, which is within bounds.

Oni's SPD is 4/4/5/5/6. For vanilla heroes, SPD always increases by 1 at lv3 and lv5, and the average lv5 SPD is 7. So her SPD scales correctly, and is below average.

I take back my words. She is an overpowerful character. Start with balanced health bar and atk, but the attributes grow way too high. She turns to be a medium speed, high acc, high damage, flexible, self healing tank in the end.
Creator might want a balanced and well designed character at the first place. However, somehow, It sadly evolves into a invincible waifu.

Well that is lame. I can understand if you or the team doesn't make NSFW content, thats understandable. But, to be against it to the extent of edits and even preferring not that other modders create a NSFW mod from scratch is disheartening. Attitudes like that kills the joy of sharing mods but can kill your own mod too. Sex and nudity is part of nature, it should be celebrated. Nevertheless, I will give the mod a shot. Looks like it might be a fun time. Really sad to read that.
