Thanks for making the game more historicly accurate
Schnell_Scheisse 25 Nov, 2024 @ 6:45am
Thanks for the fix, much appreciated! I'll check how it looks in game too.
Il-Khan of Persia 24 Nov, 2024 @ 4:21pm
In custom battle with only this mod active, I see Cimmerian Warriors in the 'Missile Cavalry & Chariots' tab and Cimmerian Elite in the 'Zagros Native Units' tab. Other than that, I don't see cavalry anywhere (except for the 15 man Ahlamu Pack Camel unit, but those are the one exception).
bofan 24 Nov, 2024 @ 2:51pm
Checked again on a new game, only with this mod active. No cavalry present in the province browser, nor in the in-game encyclopedia. Confirming it works as intended.
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 24 Nov, 2024 @ 11:03am
@bofan is this immediately after loading save? Try a checking after an end turn
bofan 24 Nov, 2024 @ 7:40am
Cimmerian Warriors - Zagros, same in t2 native recruitment building
bofan 24 Nov, 2024 @ 7:37am
Akkadian Horsemen - Mat-Tamti are still present in Babylon's t2 native recruitment building.

Should be fixed. lmk. Sorry for just getting to it now, been getting ready to move long-distance this week and working on a major overhaul mod
Schnell_Scheisse 24 Nov, 2024 @ 1:00am
Any hope for a fix for the described problem?
Schnell_Scheisse 22 Oct, 2024 @ 8:08am
I can confirm these reports too.
bofan 20 Oct, 2024 @ 12:38pm
Both Major and Minor settlements native recruitment buildings:

Just came to check if someone else has horsemen out of Babylon's native recruitment building, I see Zetsubou has the same issue.
Zetsubou 18 Oct, 2024 @ 7:12am
It's the Akkadian horsemen. No other mods. I took some screenshots for you.

Kelly Bomaye  [author] 17 Oct, 2024 @ 3:54pm
@Zetsubo Which unit(s)? And are you using any other mods?
Zetsubou 17 Oct, 2024 @ 1:20pm
Thanks for the mod but it seems to be bugged. As Babylon I can still recruit horses.
Schnell_Scheisse 20 Sep, 2024 @ 7:03am
Thanks, it works now! Really appreciate this mod!
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 19 Sep, 2024 @ 1:02pm
Should be fixed
Schnell_Scheisse 19 Sep, 2024 @ 7:42am
Assur horse archers are still showing up for me with this mod being the only one selected.
Grecorromano Historia y TotalWar 18 Sep, 2024 @ 7:56pm

Schnell_Scheisse 12 Sep, 2024 @ 7:47am
Cavalry is showing up in the recruitment menu after the update. Hope the mod can be updated !
Schnell_Scheisse 11 Sep, 2024 @ 8:05am
Hope to see this great mod updated, once the patch releases tomorrow!
Khnum 3 Sep, 2024 @ 1:51pm
Was working, but no longer works the stupid cav is back lol I even moved it to the top and that didn't work so then I disabled all my other mods to see and the cav still there any other suggestions ?
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 2 Sep, 2024 @ 2:41am

Sigmar 2 Sep, 2024 @ 12:39am
Great mod! Oddly conflicts with the Minoan mod? Is it due to start pos stuff?
bofan 27 Aug, 2024 @ 6:41am
Somehow this mod conflicts with Native Standard Bearer (no standard bearers appear).

Any chance for future compatibility?
Your Mother 22 Aug, 2024 @ 12:40am
I'm really glad you made this and shared it. I don't understand why CA has all these cavalry units in the 13th century.
Mowen 21 Aug, 2024 @ 2:07pm
UPDATE: the problem was fixed by removing the mod to the top of the load order, just in case anyone else has the same problem. Great mod, thanks! :-)
Mowen 21 Aug, 2024 @ 1:39pm
Great idea. Unfortunately for me it removes all local recruitment. It's definitely this mod doing it. I tried redownloading but didn't help.
Sotomontes 21 Aug, 2024 @ 1:35am
Assyria cant recruit assyrian chariots in their miitary buildings (im testing rigth now). Great mod, and with time will be even better if some modders make more chariot units (maybe heavy assyrians chariots with dismountable units, elamites chariots, and so on)
MonsieurOiseau 10 Aug, 2024 @ 10:29pm
Yup just needed to redownload thanks
Schnell_Scheisse 9 Aug, 2024 @ 11:23pm
Nice work keeping the mod updated! It's a must for me.
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 9 Aug, 2024 @ 9:27pm
@MonsieurOlseau; yeah I just updated it now to fix it.. don't mod using push-to-talk people. It's not safe
MonsieurOiseau 9 Aug, 2024 @ 9:25pm
Seems to be causing a crash on game startup for me
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 9 Aug, 2024 @ 8:51pm
Replaced heavy camelry with armoured Canaanite chariots and camel riders with canaanite chariots.
Kelpy G 6 Aug, 2024 @ 12:12am
@GoatScream
I made a version with no camelry and improved mod compatibility and im open to changes

GoatScream 5 Aug, 2024 @ 1:37pm
Can we get a mod that also removes camels please?
GoatScream 5 Aug, 2024 @ 1:36pm
All of the factions have access to the Akkadian Chariots on custom battle
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 5 Aug, 2024 @ 7:32am
The Assur nobles should be fixed now
Khnum 3 Aug, 2024 @ 2:54pm
Nice!
Rayor 2 Aug, 2024 @ 11:08pm
why... why
Hexagoros 1 Aug, 2024 @ 8:28am
Is there a reason this mod needs to the include the entirety of the files it edits, rather than renamed with just the edited entries?
Kelpy G 30 Jul, 2024 @ 1:10pm
Personally, I also think they should remove camelry as well. I understand the gameplay reason for adding it, but i feel cavalry/camelry break the Bronze age style gameplay, and i feel if we're removing cav camels should probably be gone as well.
Guilherme01SS 30 Jul, 2024 @ 11:38am
I think it would be better to remove the camel cav as well. While camels might have been domesticated by the late Bronze Age, their use as organized military units was not prominent until later historical periods. The strategic and extensive utilization of camels is more associated with the Iron Age and beyond.
Porkenstein 29 Jul, 2024 @ 7:56pm
Yeah well a lot of Pharaoh is speculation anyways
Kelpy G 29 Jul, 2024 @ 3:25pm
@Porkenstein That is interesting, however doesn't pharaoh take place in 1205 bc to 1155 bc which would still be 200-300 years early
TBF we don't know exactly when Iran or the Steppes adopted cavalry or Arabs adopted camelry
Just found it interesting
Porkenstein 29 Jul, 2024 @ 2:50pm
@Kelpy G, Camelry was first attested in the 9th century BC by Arabs so it does make sense for them to have cavalry in the same way it would make sense for Iranians to have cavalry in the game, but AFAIK there aren't any Iranians native units.
Kelpy G 29 Jul, 2024 @ 2:04pm
Is there a reason the Arabs still have camelry?
baneman1 28 Jul, 2024 @ 3:50pm
Sorry, still there. :-(((
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 28 Jul, 2024 @ 11:38am
@baneman1; Try again when you get a chance.
Kelly Bomaye  [author] 28 Jul, 2024 @ 11:26am
Zzzz I’ll take a look at the Lua scripts. Thanks for letting me know
