Another version that just allows all factions the option to vassalize after conquering a factions last region would be awesome. That way there are less issues, and the ruler still has a unique feature relative to vassals that others don't.

DONT WORK FOR VICTORY, AFTER 37 TURNS REGIONS VASSALS NO COUNT FOR WIN
xRevolution91 9 Jun @ 11:27pm
Does it work?
Don Ruben De Lopez 29 Oct, 2024 @ 9:07pm
Pls fix it, especially vassals offering vassalage for a lot of resources to the player and declaring war on him on the next turn using those resources.
markmetts 25 Aug, 2024 @ 6:25am
My vassals are declaring war on their own. The last 9 turns they've been declaring war on the same faction and earlier in the campaign, they were at war with each other.
i핀iZZ 25 Aug, 2024 @ 2:08am
[Any faction you choose to play as the player will be able to subjugate (vassalize) factions by capturing their last settlement.]Can you just separate this part
Blue 22 Aug, 2024 @ 5:44pm
I'll give a perfect example actually. Start as Babylon and gift Uruk to Duranki (Nippur faction) for vassalage. Then manually fight first battle and.... viola every time for me this mod now breaks. Go into diplomacy and it is no longer available. Genuinely confused and wished it worked :(
Blue 22 Aug, 2024 @ 5:17pm
This mod just seems to stop working at random points. Can happen on turn 1 or 34 and I just lose the ability to vassalize seemingly for no reason
Yuese 15 Aug, 2024 @ 3:32pm
I've seen this exact instance too. At one point I had six subject nations across the Aegean, and every single one of them was at war with one another.
Quis Machina 12 Aug, 2024 @ 6:39pm
@Diomedian_Swap
Yeah thats the thing i noticed and mentioned to them before, I suspect its like they had put in the description this mod stops them from diplomatically declaring war. However what i suspect is that there is some sort of event triggering in the background that forces nations to declare war if they are at peace.

The reason i suspect this is because after a bit of testing if i declared on someone and all my vassals were at war everything was fine. However if i negotiated peace i would get repeated calls to war from my subjects and when i looked at them they were each at war even with each other.

I suspect until modders can figure triggers or events out this will be an issue, this is also why sometimes if neighbor AI arnt at war they may just randomly declare on you or others for no reason. I suspect (No proof) Some sort of trigger/event by CA to add conflict
Diomedian_ Swap 11 Aug, 2024 @ 9:12am
Hey so Vassals have been declaring war on others and one even declared war on me. What am I missing?
Diomedian_ Swap 11 Aug, 2024 @ 12:20am
I think one thing this mod needs is vassals not caring if you give territories to others, especially to other vassals. You can get negative relations in the hundreds at certain points if you give away regions to others. Then they just declare independence from you and you're at war again.

Compatible with Better Alliance?
蛇皮怪 10 Aug, 2024 @ 7:45am
Compatibility with Enforce Confedration?
Nuin  [author] 9 Aug, 2024 @ 3:54am
Yeah there will be background interactions, especially civil war ones, that are likely to cause auto-wars. This would require major script changes most likely to fix. I will look into it, but the potential for bugs is high.

yyyyaaaassss queeen!!!!!!!!!!
Septus 7 Aug, 2024 @ 6:38am
Theoretically should this prevent vassals of foreign traditions from leaving to declare themselves a pretender?
Quis Machina 6 Aug, 2024 @ 11:14pm
So as a follow up to my previous post i sadly think its something in the background. I tested multiple end turns over between being at war and being at peace. From what i can tell (all theory) there is some sort of event or trigger that forces subjects to go to war if they arnt in one. I would peace out then end turn and would get multiple war requests from subjects. Upon reloading same thing, however if i didnt peace out they never happened. There seems to be no rhyme or reasone either because sometimes my subjects would war against each other (didnt even know that could happen)
Quis Machina 5 Aug, 2024 @ 12:50pm
So it seems bit hit or miss, i am running alongside the temporary bug fix im not sure if they are conflicting some. Sometimes my vassals are able to declare. Currently playing as Suppilumpa.
Sylentwoof 5 Aug, 2024 @ 7:26am
Seems to be working just fine for me. I had a save where one vassal declared war on another, I installed this mod, redid the turn end, and no DoW. Thanks for this mod!
FishDogFoodShack 5 Aug, 2024 @ 3:52am
Vassals being declared on is a vanilla issue atm, it isn't anything to do with this mod.

Update seems to have worked, sea peoples can now vassalize others in diplo on a new campaign. They can't on an old one, but it is what it is.

Thanks for this mod!
Nuin  [author] 5 Aug, 2024 @ 1:35am
Hmm @TheKagarin I've tried on multiple computers/installs now and it always works for me on the latest version. I'm unsure why it is not working on your setup, may be able to arrange for you to send me a save (start a campaign with *just* this mod on, save).

@Tater - the mod only stops the faction declaring war via a diplomacy trigger, it's possible that some other script caused the war (court things/dilemmas/etc). I'll have a look and see where this can occur with Pi-Ramses
Tater 4 Aug, 2024 @ 9:26pm
My vassal declared war on another faction... (playing as Ramses and vassalized Pi-Ramses).
Kag 4 Aug, 2024 @ 8:08pm
Hmm not seeing the option in diplomacy still after re-subscribing, thanks for the help and work on this
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:14pm
I pushed an update, try again for those who it wasn't working for.
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:10pm
You would see the option in diplomacy, against any faction except court leaders. I'll check sea peoples later today.
DangerClose 4 Aug, 2024 @ 9:30am
doesn't seem to be working for me, I tried what you suggest and with no other mods and cant find then option in diplomacy.
Kag 4 Aug, 2024 @ 7:50am
would we see the option in diplomacy to confirm if its working?
FishDogFoodShack 4 Aug, 2024 @ 6:51am
Just subbed, started new campaign, but doesn't seem to work for Sea People factions.
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 5:15am
If you were an early sub you may need to unsub, start game, quit game, resub. As per first comment there was an initial bug.
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 5:12am
Works perfectly for me Ganon. Vassalise option available when conquering, and in diplomacy. Are you running other mods?
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 5:02am
I will test Ganon. It should work for all factions, Meshwesh may have an individual script stopping it.
HoGu 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:55am
Im looking for this. Thx alot
Ganon Cannon 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:51am
Does not seem to work with Meshwesh. Not seeing any options come up. Not sure if you activated for minor factions.
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:40am
I dont think the occupation subjugation option will be available from a save - but the diplomacy will be. New campaign probably needed for the occupation as well.
Ganon Cannon 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:37am
So new file entirely??
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:02am
Only the player can subjugate everyone. Factions that already could due to being court leaders still can.
Esoteric knowledge enjoyer 4 Aug, 2024 @ 4:00am
Neat. Does the same apply to the AI or is it just the player that is affected?
Quis Machina 4 Aug, 2024 @ 3:51am
Hey just wanted to say ty for this, as aa big vassal fan love being able to have a subject empire. :Gifting:
Nuin  [author] 4 Aug, 2024 @ 3:32am
The first 5 of you or so that subbed may need to restart game and update fyi. Minor bug fixed that would have prevented the mod from working + left the logs on (now turned off).
