@Mr Zoat The AI is generally very stupid in HOI4, unless you coach it to be better, which I have only loosely tried to do. I don't even really know what I could do to make the AI beat Lonetree consistently without making the Calm Asylum unreasonably powerful.
Everyone has a different experience too. One player posted a playthrough on Reddit where Maia conquered half the OWB world before they fought them.
A quick question, are there any 'secret' paths hidden in the mod?
The only bad part about this submod is the pacing. Party, that's the Legion losing the California so quickly these days, but in my playthroughs Far Son died before I could meaningfully attack them, Ouroboros look years and by the time I won the Legion was already dead. By the time I got to the bottom part of the tree someone had already unified most of Canada. Not really sure what could fix that.
But other then that Great mod, one of my favorite owb mods.
Not sure what the problem would be. Tested the event and I know it works, so if there's circumstances it doesn't work under, I can't really know what they'd be.
I'll patch it.
@RedDustDra Kind of, sort of, eventually. I am very tired and the dev team still has a mountain of work to do themselves. And I am one of them!
She has always been an aggressive and headstrong person, the type to assume they'll be better off under her new state. Whether that's true or not is a matter of opinion, and on her better path there's a case to be made. But when she does something like, defeating Standing Rock, her instinct is to administer the lands herself rather than try to invite old governments back and let them handle it.
Besides, if I had Julian and Valerie handle these things the exact same way, there'd be little difference between their paths gameplay, wouldn't there?
I do have a question regarding Valerie's path. She is about liberating the oppressed people of the Wasteland but unlike Julian's path that doesn't happen.
A example. Standing Rock. In Julian's path you can get the nations that were annexed by Standing Rock to be released but in Valerie's path that doesn't happen. It just becomes new territory. Why is that?
