Report a translation problem
I would like to use this mod with officer crew mod that adds + 2 crew per officer. Which means 4 crew in total. If possible.
Leutnant z.See 10% skill
Oberleutnant z.See 10 % skill
Kapitänleutnant 10% skill
- Skills are merged with the Laufbahn (carrier): machinists (also for torpedo crew) , Steuermann, Bootsmann and Funker.
And last but not least - - - - - -uniforms merged with the rank.(on the brown Shirt with the right emblemes. And when crew leaves boat - they switch to Ausgehuniform (dark blue, officers with yellow stripes on the jacket etc. )
I would like to mention some ideas which would make the immersion and simulation incredible.
- ranks (would like to see that every crew member can climb the rank table from Matrose over Unteroffiziere up to Offizier (German Ranks) and every new rank adds a skill which is added in to whole boat . (like 5% quieter or 5% fuel efficiency for the Maschinists // and another 5% for Obermaschinists /// more sight for the Bootsmann and another 5% for oberbootsmann, or 5% faster location finding on the map table for the Steuermann and another 5 for obersteuerman ) all those are are Unteroffiziere. The rank BELOW those are the (Mannschaften) 1. Matrose (all begin there) 2. Matrosengefreiter (seemännische Besatzung) 2. Maschinengefreiter and then matrosenobergefreiter or Maschinenobergefreiter. The first is that the Type VIIC only seems to allow 32 sailors. Not sure if this limitation is intended?
The second, and more important, is that the mod seems to rely heavily on having an officer for each "role" on board, but doing an early war start leaves the player without the option of having enough. Sure you can increase the officer limit to ten for free, but there are no officers available to recruit, and promoting them from the ranks still costs reputation points. This means it takes a LOT of patrols to actually reach 10 officers - which as far as I can tell, is not the intended way to play?
The third is that one of the task options is simply a blank white square for some reason

So far the bilge up to 2.5m3 and not been emptied?
Great mod and not sure if this is a bug but in the crew tasks management. The Uboat Overseer does not have an icon. Mine just shows a white square.
Same goes for the tasks management for the sailors and there is even one tasks that has no icon or even discription when hovering over it.
p.s: do you have some guide on how to set up the shifts for the officers?
Also The version I was requesting had 45 sailors plus officers, not 40 sailors and 5 officers. There was also an option in the version I'm requesting to have sailors be tasked to the navigators table as well as the control room and so on. There was no bilge task option which I'm not so sure is needed. The version I downloaded and would strangle a pod of dolphins to have back was updated on Aug 10th @ 8:38pm and I downloaded it at 10:29pm. (I'm assuming that's my systems time.) This is the version that should be brought back if possible.
This mod is teasing greatness but keeps being messes with even when it was way better before.
There is a problem with setting up sailors rosters when acivating this mod.
As John Moses said.. tasks for sailors are shifted one to the right with this mod. So you have to set up at the icon for cleaning the boat when you want to sailors to go to the galley. Hoping b000gy can fix this sometime.
Maybe many people don't change their rosters and then the problem doesn't have an impact.
