the creeper is not creepin. does it take time for it to spread or is it instantenious ? does temperature play a role ? i dont see any visual terrain changes after the megascarabs built it and im unable to place any hive buildings

I played the New Squad Scenario and all of the transport pods landed on top of each other, killing everyone xD. I'm on 1.6. Is this new?

@123 Not directly, I killed them and let the hive generate new ones and they have been working ever since. The only things I can think happened were either something got confused when hypothermic slowdown downed them, or maybe because the hive area wasn't set yet when they were first spawned. Either way I have not had that issue again.

The "Royal Queen" has been demoted to Princess, whilst the "Official Queen" retains her title, but only if Odyssey is enabled

Actually, they are now showing up in the animals tab, and the hive's mini "Insectoids" window isn't linking to them anymore. I'm guessing they somehow got 'detached' from the hive. I'll see if the next batch does the same thing.

No mining operations that I'm aware of, and all 3 are megascarabs. Could the fact that they enter hypothermic slowdown a couple hours every night right before sunrise be causing it?

Vortex, do you have any mining operations your insects are doing? They prioritize mining over constructing. Also, make sure the insectoid is a working caste like megascarabs and spelopedes.

Also, does anyone know if the insector mod's spawning sack makes it so breeding the pherocore inside a pawn doesn't kill them?

I am having an issue where my insectoids aren't building anything. They have enough insect jelly, and are in their hive zone, but they have been chilling around the hive and eating the jelly for days without any attempt to build the hive walls, hive doors, heatpods, glowpods, or creeper blueprints I've made. I can't find mention of anything I could be missing.

I hope it's not a mod conflict, but knowing my luck...

wild hives that are created on map creation never maintain themselves and just fall apart leading to whatever bugs to just wander

This mod is Incompatible with "Insectoid Genes" not sure (if just that or it is caused by another mod) but if you have it, no insects will spawn at all, and any hive will spam you with red errors.

I know this wont be added but just giving a cool idea. Considering the Odyssey DLC. I think it would be amazing to have an Insectoid ship like fly inside a living insectoid that grows or something like a questline or something. Or perhaps just an event as in you cant have it but you can find an event/location in space where you arrive at a bio ship full of insectoids which in itself is a 1 big insect.
