After syaringan transplant surgery that my oni xeno can't get syaringan hediff.
another oni xeno,she eat OX_OniDust_SyarinAwakening twice and get SyarinAwakening heidff x2.
kaigan doesn't work for her
it like nothing happened and get Syarinentropy.
what i missing?
With this mod my FPS slows down extremely as soon as someone uses Dark Fire on my map :(

Well, if there's full compatibility of the original mod with all the DLCs then i'm out of ideas why tribal oni backstories don't give Natural Meditation Focus.
There is full compatibility with all DLCs in the race mod. This xenotype mod only took things relevant to making the xenotype from biotech, so that got overlooked.
Also, this is not a fork of the race mod. I never gave such permission to make a fork of it.
As for backstories - i wholeheartedly don't remember anymore if the original mod did that too. It's not that big of an issue, just breaking the immersion a little bit sometimes.
But what about Natural Medidation Focus for tribal backstories? Wiki says that "most tribal backstories give access to this focus", and that all children born in the New Tribe colony will have it.
Original mod author stated that he doesn't want to lock any content behind DLCs, so they probably never added any compatibility for Royalty and meditation, but this fork doesn't have to have the same limitations.
Empire is no longer hostile to new Oni tribe, thanks.
However, i've noticed that the scenario is giving us 5 pawns to take without any spares to chose from, where the usual tribal scenario gives us to chose 5 out of 8. It's not anything big, and it's extremely easy to fix with the editor, but i have to ask if this is intended, because some people like the limited amount to choise as opposed to no choice, and prefer not to roll colonists.
The description of Featherleaf Plant still copies Smokeleaf Plant, saying that it could be rolled into joints at the crafting spot, which is not a thing.
Shame. I don't really want to use HAR since the release of biotech, doesn't feel right to me anymore.
Due to how FactionDefs are named this mod makes Empire permanently hostile to your faction if you start with any of the Oni scenarios, is this intended? I had to manually include oni player tribe into the list of exclusions in the game files.
I've met some non-oni pawns in the world with oni backstories. Is it intended? The description of someone without claws "struggling to do things with their claws" doesn't seem right.
None of the oni tribal backstories give natural meditation focus. Is this intended? I thought all or almost all tribal backstories are supposed to give natural meditation focus.
They won't have that because they're not the real Oni race. This xenotype expansion's gimmick is having its own eyes related mechanic. Although nothing stopping you from using Oni of the Rim race mod and have an Oni get this xenotype.

Moyo got their own xenotype stuff built into their race mod if I recall, or at least was worked on last I checked.
I let someone else make this new xenotype variation as they had an idea to use the Oni assets for it.

i get another problem now.
oni xeno have kaigan and amaterasu now.
but kaigan doesn't work for me.
click kaigan and get 2 sec Syarin heat (safe) hediff.
it just act like nothing happened
Update remove OniDust_SyarinAwakening recipe.
i remove ShinigamiBlessing hediff by character editor.
And oni xeno eat OniDust_ShinigamiBlessing again.
but he can't onidust. (right click onidust show it's can't eat because he's a human)

Latest changes should fix it.
I've fiddled around using these guys, and it felt nothing like the Oni, and had to play just like regular humans but wit handicaps to crafting and research, which made them even worse than the Oni in those departments.

Attacking with their horn doesn't necessarily increase the chances of losing it.

Head, Skull, Brain, Eye, Ear, Nose, Jaw. Meaning that having anything bionic on your face makes you illegible to get the horn. Could you please have it so it has the install site: head, but no the replace: head?
It wasn't the race mod problem, it was an old method in HAR that dealt with custom thoughts back in 1.0. And potentially the one custom thoughtworker def in the race mod that got immediately removed for 1.5 because it brought nothing to the gameplay overall.

Use the main Oni of the Rim race mod alongside this Biotech expansion mod to get the new Blessings mechanic that bring out the different attributes that changes up what the Oni becomes more specialised in.

@[JdG] Pejman Really? What kinds of factor was affecting to performance so much? If you can tell me that by dubs performance analyzer, I can tell whether that factor is inherited or not.
