- Fixed a bug related to Precog Project vs Cynosure that was introduced in a certain patch and prevented the mod from working.
- Cynosure is now unaffected by this mod
- Precog Project now give 2 free levels for newly created unit in the city instead of increasing max level by 2
Hi torche, after investing 2-3 report i got this week, i found that a certain update affected this mod (the one that introduced 2 max level from Precog project) and currently preventing it from working.
A patch will be out in few hours to adress this issue and to adjust the mod for precog instead of Cynosure.

I've tested it using only this mod and your Alien Exp mod and I have no option to progress past level 4. I've disabled and re-enabled the mod, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mods, but for whatever reason it just refuses to actually work.
They are both compatible togheter since i made them both, you should check the common problem with mod loading affecting so many mods including this one. Basicly you need to refresh your mod list enable/disable 1 times for every gaming session.
About precog project, good find. I just checked and they changed this in a semi-recent patch. The bonus veterancy use to be on cynosure and be 1 level. Now its on Precog project and its 2. I will update the mod with this info.

Also, in your description, I think you mean "Precog Project" rather than "Cynosure". Cynosure gives extra science based on city population, while Precog Project gives 2 additional levels of veterancy.
Of course there is a good chance that if you are using another mod that change promotion, it wont be compatible and cause malfunctions. A proper test would require a new fresh game with only this mod enabled.
The wierd thing is, I did exactly that, yet nothing happened, should I disable the other mod? (Enhanced Promotions, it gives me extra promotion options, for example to widen the range of a ranged unit etc.)

its because of an issue with the promotion system vs Mods currently affecting many mod alterting promotion. You have to "refresh" the mod every time you start a gaming session.
Until Fireaxis fixes or change it, there is a temporary solution, that is slightly annoying.
As written in the mod description:
1) Save your Game, exit it and then go to the mod menu.
2) Disable this mod then re-enable it.
3) Reload your game from the mod menu with the mod re-enabled.

What do you mean the normal ones? In beyond earth there is only 2 promotion heal and veterancy. Other bonus are gained from other source like the affinities spec.
I would have liked to do a promotion expansion mod, just like for civ5, but with the current bug on promotion UI (it is now a confirmed known bug affecting any mod changing promotions), i will wait for a fix from fireaxis.
About the UI bug, there is a 3 step easy fix in the FAQ., its still annoying and i hope it will be fixed onm future patches from the base game.

One problem though, ever since the start of the game (and start of new games), I can ONLY ever choose the heal or vetrancy upgrades, none of the old normal ones? Even at the first and 2nd level up.
Is this intentional? And yes I have done the enabling disabling thing.
I have seen all the upgrade options when it does that UI glitch that it randomly does (That you talk about in your FAQ). Please advise.

About the little ui problem, yes i hope they release a patch soon but in the meantime this little fix doesnt take long and fixes it for your entire session.

Is it possible to have units promote +max Hp bonus? And other promotion such as drill and shock?
You dont have to disable the mod, read the mod description.
Its a known, mod loading issue that will probably be fixed in upcoming patches from fireaxis.
In the meantime, to fix it when it happens, just do these 3 little steps described in the mod description:
There is currently a known issue that prevent the game from updating the databse correctly on some occasional inital game startup or sometimes when loading a modded game, causing the units Ui to become invisible or filled with various icons. (See Pinned discussion).
Here is the temporary solution to fix it until a Patch is released for the game:
1) Save your Game, exit it and then go to the mod menu.
2) Disable this mod then re-enable it.
3) Reload your game from the mod menu with the mod re-enabled.

Exactly, i started working on a promotion expansion pack like i did for civ 5 but all the perk are present in the affinity upgrades. Its is hard to create new ones without being redundant.
as said in the mod descripion, read it entirely before using :)
its a mod loading problem that cause the Ui bug, do the 3 steps easy fix as a temporary solution until a patch is released
- Adjusted the Wonder 'Cynosure' to give additional Science, instead of providing a +1 maximum level cap.
- Updated the trouble shooting section of the mod to provide a 3 step temporary solution to the occasional mod loading problem causing the UI bug, until a patch for the game fixes it.
just do the 3 steps easy fix and it fixes it, it is caused by the game, its not better or worst.
see trouble shooting section in the mod description:

Yes thats the risk of modding a game that just got out :) , its inevitable that it wont be perfect on the first try. I thank you for having the patience of testing these mods and reporting issues.
having to start new game beetween patches and updates is a pain, i didnt even enjoyed a full game myself trying to test and fix these.
About the Ui bug, i think its not resolved yet, its an occasional bug that doesnt have the same behavior when the mod is disabled/re-enabled and the game reloaded and is caused by the database not being update correctly on initial startup or modded game loading.
The next mod will be a patch for this one that change the Wonder that that increase the max level by +1 and give it a free veterancy instead.
After that i think ill look into a Building - Upgrades mods, much like i did for Civ 5.

Good job on the patch it seemed to fix the UI bug and the upgrade bottoms tried to reload it 2 times no problems, but sadly the older version won't be working anymore, eh time to start a new game

and I was just wondering what will your next mod be?
Normally, this mod 'affect saved game' so if you started a v1 game, you shouldnt be able to load it with V2 enabled.
Also, this mod only is causing the Ui bug, The alien unlimited EXP works fine.
Like smartoz said in the discussion, if you disable and re-enable this mod and reload your game, it will fix the issues, it seems to be cause by he game not updating the databse properly everytime.
Try it to see if you can manage to fix the Ui on reload. Thx for your help!

Yes I did start a new game from the start with all the mods enabled it worked great but when I reloaded the save again after 1-2 hours later the game still had the problem with all the bugs and upgrades popped with as well with the worker
