Ah yeah had to go back and add the modified garru race under the backpack allowed races not just on the garru's data side. I'm not sure if the incoming update and an import will fix the garru if you already have it in your squad, but future instances should work as intended :beeped: thanks for mentioning this

Is it actually profitable though? I think the kits have a value of like 4k but only sell for half value so you’d be buying and selling at about the same amount

You left an exploit inside the mod, you can buy discounted repair kit and sell It back full price in the bar

The modified garru is now recruitable. Gave it starting damage that it is healing from so the fight still has some aspect of risk if you convince it to join. Should be a valuable companion across any save file :cactusrum:

@lucazz'tuoi That is a solid point. Idk if that type of garru is normally recruitable in UWE and I like the idea of it just kinda chilling after its revenge. I'll look into moving its prison cage outside of the building and see if that'll work; if not I'll just hint at it somehow with the dialogue. I'd like there to be a "stealth option" in my mod.

i mean usual to get inside you have to kill them first and at that poin it useless, and if you free him it go aimless, at lest make that you can recruit it

That garru serves two purposes, its drops are a bit different for lore if I ever get back and work on this again and it should fight the robots if you free it, giving players an option to win the fight beyond simply being strong enough . I will go check on the hq cages

Confirm i did the Quest too and i didnt see a single cage in the HQ "i did the (Quest) in reverse i go straight to kill the leader and talk to the hive scum leader and the dialogue still think i recruit that other guy"

He fights you so u can get meele attack and deffense, but after he K.O you doesnt do anything let u heal sleep in bed in house and u can repeat process till u beat him steal his stuff and he will still be friendly to player

He probably got attacked by something along the route of chasing you and got ko'd or killed. You could try importing the world without changing anything and see if they pop up again or try it with dead npcs ticked and reset the encounter if you're strong enough (or paid new fighters/mercs) to take on the encounter again.

Hm I think all the robot scouts are supposed to spawn in the camp specifically in the little shack there. Did you fight them already? They shouldn’t roam beyond the camp.

I'm glad it worked without importing! Thank you for playing! About cheesy money, my new mod, "Bonewolf Pup in Hub! (Investor's Runt)" has an (intentionally) forgetful dialogue inspired by my mistake(s) here with Nona's reward dialogue. It's much less money of course but in it you can choose to put a nice couple thousand cats in the pocket of new save files.

@MrMcGreedy I just told her that I've taken out the Scout Leader. She said: "excellent, give me some time" and then gave me the reward. Thats it. I could also repeat this to get cheesy money :) As I saw you fixed this, tried importing but didn't find Cormanth, maybe i should go to Flotsam hideout to check if he respawned there

ah lol I found it. in my *fix* to the repeatable reward line I forgot to actually set a once-only tag so it was endlessly repeating it and not going to the other lines. should just need to talk to her twice now after this upcoming update and it should work, sorry for that

Hm if the reward dialog was able to activate then everything else in that group should work - I’ll give it another check (and add a nice color to the important dialogue choice in that final reward section). Did you choose the “couldn’t have done it without Cormanth” option when speaking to Nona?

@MrMcGreedy I've come to Nona with the scout leader on my shoulder and his paper in my inventory. She gave me 10k + rep, but no notes. I talked to Cormanth previously and he said that I should take the scout's papers to Nona. Maybe it's smth with the sequence of the actions.

@senarixx Did you already complete the full quest, Kill/Capture the robot Scout Leader and did you recieve the little note named ~"Reassignment Orders"? It must be in the inventory of the character talking to Cormanth - let me know if it is still not working.

I like the mod so far, but i can't recruit Cormanth after giving in the mission to Nona and receiving my reward :( Tried importing but it didn't fix anything. Maybe there is special way he is recruited that i just don't get?

@Jaaruden thank you, I've added another line and made the original reward line a once-only dialogue event Personally I like a little cheesy money lol if I had the energy for it I'd make a mod with a quest dude who keeps forgetting he paid you every 4 hours or something

@mcdonald'sspecial Do you you remember if you had a mercenary contract upon first talking to Nona? The starting dialogue seems to work as intended from my end; the trigger for her saying hello to Cormanth just checks if the player has a mercenary contract. This means I don't have to keep giving the player items for dialogue to function, but it of course comes with its own batch of issues lol.

Thanks! I got so confused bc I found the safehouse first & she was talking to me as if I'd already found Cormanth so I ran in circles for around it for a hot minute trying to find him thinking he was in the immediate vicinity.

I found a bug. When Nona congratulates you with 10k cats & give Cormanth's reassignment order, you can repeat her dialogue indefinitely and she'll keep giving you this money.

@mcdonald’sspecial Cormanth is East of where Nona is; on that border between Rebirth and The Floodlands. Flotsam Safehouse, it’s somewhat hidden by a group of trees depending on which side you approach from. There is also a test new game that will spawn you at the building. I’ll have to take a look at her dialogue again; most of the time I tested from meeting Cormanth first after escaping rebirth.

Where is Cormanth? This is the companion, right? I found the outpost & there's an NPC called Nona that babbles on about Cormanth but I've yet to encounter Cormanth. She gave me some note to talk to Cormanth but...as I said...can't find him.

Hi Klyn, so glad to hear some feedback! :beeped: If you have the time, could you make a discussion post with more detail; are any npcs dead or captured, who did you interact with, etc. If Cormanth is actually dead, then that provides the emotional break necessary for the faction leader to (best-case) need a couple hundred year break from things.

Ah I think I just realized what’s up; did you recruit Cormanth before turning in the scout leader? I have a world state tied to C’s well-being so maybe after he is recruited, that gets messed up?
