Please make this DX11.
Greyson XMG 13. nov. 2015 kl. 13:48
Yes.. DX11

I'll see if I can get somebody to take this over.
Dark 29. aug. 2015 kl. 13:34
The author appears to be RIP (Last Online 230 days ago), so probably anyone can take over this and post updated version, at least until author wakes up from his coma.
Nomander 24. aug. 2015 kl. 15:48
DX11!
Exelsiar 4. aug. 2015 kl. 4:46
I'd also like to sugest these use girders instead of plates, it just makes much more sense :)
thanks for your work :)
LaserGuidedBrick 9. juli 2015 kl. 18:36

Captain_Carter 6. juli 2015 kl. 15:23
Just have to say, I love these, and use them all the time. Excellent mod blocks, thanks for uploading them!
Vixapede 26. juni 2015 kl. 5:48

3DBeerGoggles 14. juni 2015 kl. 3:15
Any chance this will get updated for DX11/Oxygen?
Snaz2150 6. juni 2015 kl. 17:25
Does this work for DX11 anyone know?
StealthCharm 31. maj 2015 kl. 8:54
Will you be updating this as i really like it
gripenblau 29. maj 2015 kl. 9:45
gone do DX11? Like your mod :)
Crimson Revenant 26. mar. 2015 kl. 16:28
Does this work with the O2 stuff? Like will air flow through the block or does it count as solid block?
TardisITguy 3. mar. 2015 kl. 21:07
There should only be four collision meshes.
Ulfsark 3. feb. 2015 kl. 3:21
Hey, if I may make a suggestion, could these be made to instead of using steel plates, they use girders, and maybe have them added to the armor block category?
Officer SkidMark  [ophavsmand] 8. dec. 2014 kl. 5:33
The build materials is very possible as for the collision thats near impossible. To succsesfully do a perfect collision we would need 12 collision meshes and the game only allows 5
Tiger 7. dec. 2014 kl. 8:58
I love this concept. Looks great on industrial space stations and ships. (+ rated)

I do have a couple suggestions though. The current build recipe is the same as ordinary light armor (Steel Plates); I suggest you change it to be based around Girders and Construction Components... the quantity is simple to figure out: a girder for each edge, and a construction component for each corner.

I also would suggest changing the collision boxes to only cover the solid parts, so that little bits can drift through, and it doesn't do much to stop projectiles. I think that's possible, since it works on doors and other blocks that let things pass through openings.

Its like the scaffolding mod for a temp structure
Nioreux 3. dec. 2014 kl. 16:52
why would you need this?
hesa_heart  [ophavsmand] 29. nov. 2014 kl. 2:21
Im back online and working on more stuff, just added the modular bridge system
JayMole77 29. nov. 2014 kl. 2:20
Hesa sorry to hear about your computer, I hope it does not take you long to rebuild your collection. I enjoy using the space frames alot as main support struts under our stations and external holding structures on our ships and ship building platforms.
We use to use Scaffolding mod but these look cooler and are colourable, Keep up the great work.
hesa_heart  [ophavsmand] 29. nov. 2014 kl. 1:25
@QT equal to light armor
Thicc 💀 Goblins 27. nov. 2014 kl. 17:07
How strong are these blocks when compared to Light and Heavy armor? Are they the same as light armor, or are they weaker and are intended to simply hold things together?
hesa_heart  [ophavsmand] 11. nov. 2014 kl. 5:55
Update: Due to a complete loss of my pc, I must rebuild all my work from scratch, With help from the the guys at the modding collective it should not take long,

@Stink Eye Trogg ill talk to him about those types. No promises.
Stink Eye Trogg 4. nov. 2014 kl. 20:08
Very nice blocks. I look forward to seeing what you have planned for the future. Ramps in this style maybe?

Big shout out to KIller Corp for his patiants in helping me
Dante 1. nov. 2014 kl. 20:09
A good way to build scaffolding without leaving armor blocks at 1%. They do seem to be treated as full blocks for collisions though. (Though I see you're already working on that.)
Officer SkidMark  [ophavsmand] 1. nov. 2014 kl. 13:51
@Tempest im done
Officer SkidMark  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. 2014 kl. 6:26
@NordicBeast what you have stated are on our list. We currently are working on Proper collision, Small ship version, and symmetry. Things like build states and build times have not been gone over and discussed as of this time
NordicBeast 31. okt. 2014 kl. 4:28
I really enjoy these, they give a nice industrial look and I don't have to keep light armor blocks unbuilt for the same look! The few things I'd personally like to see are: building models, when building a ship using them it was hard to tell which ones were welded and which weren't. Symmetry, though this was for creative. And lastly, I'm not sure how strong they are but I'm assuming they aren't as strong as light or heavy armor, maybe you should have the welding be faster and take less steel plates like 15-20?
hesa_heart  [ophavsmand] 31. okt. 2014 kl. 3:46
As killer96 stated my designs are based on industrail design ( lots more in the works). I myself used the scaffold mod in almost all my builds to give them an industrial look, I felt that as scaffold is used to allow a work force access to constructing a project and then removed when its completed. I wanted a heaveir permenant structure.
Officer SkidMark  [ophavsmand] 30. okt. 2014 kl. 8:37
@PaserGuidedBrick i believe the scaffolding mod was one of the reasons he made these space frames. Hesa is big into industrial stuff, and i mean big.
LaserGuidedBrick 30. okt. 2014 kl. 1:11
They look heaps better then the scaffold mod....
DREX7773 29. okt. 2014 kl. 23:26
Your notice concerning IP is interesting, given that I have been using a very similar mod for some time.
Officer SkidMark  [ophavsmand] 28. okt. 2014 kl. 16:38
dont worry bud ill get ya to those points good news tho you dont need new models
hesa_heart  [ophavsmand] 28. okt. 2014 kl. 15:45
I am still learning the code part of modding and i will continue to perfect this set with a small ship variant and proper collision mesh
hesa_heart  [ophavsmand] 28. okt. 2014 kl. 15:43
20 steel plates
Digi 28. okt. 2014 kl. 5:13
How heavy and how many plates does it require to build ?

I also look forward for their smallship counterparts :}
Officer SkidMark  [ophavsmand] 27. okt. 2014 kl. 20:06
@Kai.Kauske to get armor and other things to deform is extremely difficult to do and a painstaking process to get functional
Antinov 27. okt. 2014 kl. 19:34
Ahh, shame, it woudl be lovely to have structure that deforms so it wont blow up instantly from a missle hit.
Officer SkidMark  [ophavsmand] 27. okt. 2014 kl. 16:28
@Kai.Kauske No hesa is new to the modding scene so they are missing a few things but even i cant do deforming armor so i cant help him with it
Antinov 27. okt. 2014 kl. 14:57
Do these deform?
Mage4 26. okt. 2014 kl. 17:02
nice
hesa_heart  [ophavsmand] 26. okt. 2014 kl. 16:26
Equal to light armor
