Thanks, I put the guide in the description as well. I will think about swapping the default options, though.
Thanks for the quick reply and the tip, although I know how to disable command lines. That imgur link should be at your mod description for everyone else though, because I think that the majority of the ppl would prefer the brighter option. For me it's preferable to able to see the map than having a super dark mode which adds nothing to the game and it makes it less enjoyable to position your troops strategically. I've tested both your lighting modes (default and brighter) and I'm sure that default is a big no-no for me.
Anyway, after playing XCOM 2 for the zillionth time you want to add some spice to the mix and this mod didn't do it for me. Thanks for sharing your work though, I like some of your other mods more.
I'm not sure this alone warrants a separate release. If you need to set the bright night variants as default, you need to do this: https://imgur.com/a/Yos4wpe

Maybe it's just my PC that's having trouble running the game, but who knows, it might be a bug.
Added the brighter versions of the four night maps as an alternative (disabled by default).
You can enable them in the XComMaps.ini file.
Please keep in mind the brighter map variants require the DLC packs as well.
Hi, thanks for letting me know. Do you still remember which type of the weather map was that (i.e. from the DLC pack or a different one)? If so, I'd appreciate if you could share the name, this console command can be useful for that. It would be a massive help for me, if possible.
I had a wilderness map set during a stormy night...it was so dark the only times I could actually see any tiles or enemy units was when lightning flashed, and I had to try to remember what the map layout looked like.

Those generate rarely, but all of those spawn in the base game without map mods.

It was a cemetary Guerrilla Ops mission, right?
I ran a test map generator without any of my mods (on a minimal testing setup) and got a random layout similar to yours.

I genuinely think that those maps are slightly bugged, meaning that there might be stairway gaps when two specific cemetary map pieces are adjacent to each other, like shown on the picture.
I don't think it's specific to my mods. It's likely an unfortunate interaction between the map pieces from the base game, annoying as it might be.
And in my modlist, as far as I know, none of them are related to the map generator.

If this screenshot was taken without both of my mods enabled, then they're likely not involved in this glitch.
I'd appreciate if you did the following:
- play the same mission again (i.e. by loading a save)
- enter the X2DebugMap console command
- on the upper right side, there will be "Show Map/Hide Map" button.
- take a screenshot of the map (the one with the colored rectangles)
This way, I would actually know more about those map pieces.

In the image, I hope you can see that there is a layout flaw. My skirmisher is next to a staircase that should lead to another building.
Sorry if this is annoying, but again, I don't know if it's yours or another mod that's changing the map layout or if I'm simply witnessing rare cases of natural map breaking.
Base WOTC has a set of randomly chosen 3 bridge/train and 3 pier mission variants.
If you're running CI or LWOTC, then both overhauls might be spawning some covert ambush variants. Other mission mods could impact that as well.
Right now I'm unable to associate this behaviour with my mod, but I will keep an eye out for that regardless.
Look, I'm not 100% sure, but in cover ambushes they generally use the same map layout throughout the campaign (the game picks a type at the beginning and uses it for the rest of the campaign), at least it's always been that way for me in all my playthroughs. I had one where you started under a bridge and another where you started on a boat.
Again, I'm not sure about this, as you said, I may have just gotten "lucky" and always had the same map in cover ambushes.
It's not supposed to touch the map layouts in any way. I also haven't encountered related issues so far. Perhaps you're running a mod which adds extra tunnel parcels (map pieces)?
In fact, I believe even the vanilla game or LWOTC had very rare issues related to shifted tunnel layouts.
