Unfortunately I do not believe there are any more servers that host this mod due to the lack of players. During the time that I had played a year or two ago, I had only seen 1 server, and that server had 3-4 players that weren't friends of my own join only once. I can't say it wasn't incredibly fun while it lasted however.

Actually come to think about it the joystick bind might be useless if you cannot move the cursor to aim the weapon. When I posted that message I assumed the weapons fired stright ahead. I did not know about the aiming at the time xD.

Thanks for the response! I assumed it would work but I do not know anything about modding so maybe the detection method used only works for keyboard. I am willing to bet I can use some software to remap the button to a key like you suggest. Would be great if that did work properly in the future though. Thank you for the hard work!

I don't believe so Morgan. You could try binding the joystick button to a normal keyboard key (like insert) and then using that for the key bind inside the settings menu.

@Sli Yes! that is the warning what i'm getting "That key is retricted" but i'm get that and can't press any key, but i solve this. Just reinstall the map and the problem gone. Thx for the answer. Good luck with this map, love it! it's awesome!

@ZarpadoEnLata You can only perform restarts as a logged in admin. There's a !cleanup command to attempt to remove debris without doing a full restart or the usual arma #restart should work. I can't replicate your keybind issue just yet, but if you are getting 'That key is restricted' it's because ESC and Num Lock are restricted keys and not bindable by default. Be sure to save, clear and re-load your vehicle first if you are having issues (vehicles from previous versions can cause all sorts of wierd errors and require a save to update).

On a further note I'm aware there's quite a lot broken right now, but an updated version is right on the horizon and I plan to sync it up with the Tanoa release. Unfortunately as a solo developer on this I can only do so much!

Yea I wouldn't touch the parameters to be honest, they were working in a previous version but are now depreciated. The best way right now to configure the game mode requires you edit the mission file directly:

- Extract the .pbo
- Edit config.sqf
- Repackage .pbo

There's only a limited number of options but you will have more success changing the values there than using the parameters. I need to update the README as it's misleading. Out of curiosity, what were you trying to change?

@Sli It seems that if you're hosting a game to pay with friends and set up the parameters how I would like it will not let the host shoot or set keybinds and Yes the 3 things you listed I did.

When I get on later to night i'll check and see what Parameter is making me not able to shoot because I can shoot just fine if I start the Game w/o messing with Parameters

Hey Kronos, i'm not seeing any issues with the current version — can you confirm you are doing the following:

- Using the settings menu (scroll wheel on any vehicle)
- Double clicking to the right of an item until a [] icon appears to indicate it is ready.
- Pressing the key you want until the list registers it (e.g [e] ).

Key binds will only save when the vehicle is saved at the workshop (if you change them while in a zone they will not be there when you re-load the vehicle). Some keys are not bindable due to conflicts with movement keys etc. A bad key to bind is V which by default is eject in Arma 3.

Ok, thanks for getting back to me. I'll place it on the issues page. It's possible the latest iterations of Arma have borked the system a bit since the last time it was tested. (v0.8.2c was well tested back in December and was fine).

@Wiggles if it's downloaded correctly you should be able to go Play>Multiplayer>New>Altis and select 'Get Wrecked [Vehicle Combat Sandbox]' from the list of orange missions on the right. This will start a game local to your machine (but joinable by friends if your port forwarding etc is configured correctly). This isn't the recommended way to play the game mode as performance is much better on a dedicated server.

But you don't actually need to subscribe to try this game mode — you can just join a server running the mission file to play (there are two AU ones up currently).

@Gnome Child. The current version may have some issues with vehicles not loading correctly when the server has low fps and/or is at capacity, is this the scenario it is occuring in for you?

Hi RoronoaDroagon.The Australian servers were apparently not up to date if those were the servers you were having issues with (I updated them post 1.52 but apparently another smaller patch has dropped since).

The server kicking is nothing to do with the mission file and everything to do with battleeye. So if it's saying there's files there that are modded then it won't be lying. I would suggest verifying game files and trying to join other unmodded servers to see if the problem is consistent with other game modes.

AU1 and AU2 are the only official servers that I look after, so if it's not one of these you are having issues with, it is likely the admin for that server has something configured wrong and i'm not able to do much about that sorry.

for some reason i get up that i use any other mods when i try to join in on a get wrecked server and i got no mods activated.
why do i keep on geting the remove this files and then 4-6 arma 3 epoch files that i don`t have instaled??

Hi Maverick. If the vehicle you're attaching it to is suspended (ie lifted in the air), it will update once the vehicle is dropped on the ground or lifted again. Because simulation is disabled to allow it to stay in the air, the game doesn't send full updates for any newly attached items.

Saying this, there was a very old bug that caused these latent rotation issues and may have resurfaced in 1.50. If the above doesn't fix your problem, please let me know.

Whenever i try to attatch a rotated object to a vehicle, it will just default to the normal orientation. Any way to fix this?

Thanks Richterin for the feedback. I am looking into improving the load vehicle mechanics as it seems the latest patch may have broken all the work I did previously to improve its reliability (bah!). The vehicles do actually save correctly in the background, it's just upon load the items seem to be immediately deleted as a result of checks intended to prevent excess weapons or prohibited items being added.

Fireballassasin, you are probably correct and they may have been added the wrong way around. I will add it to the bug list on the github page, thank you for reporting this

Sli whilst i was messing around on one of the australian servers, I noticied that when you bind Lctrl its name shows up as Rctrl and when you bind Rctrl its name shows up as Lctrl. Maybe not applicable to everything you can bind it to, as i have only tested it with binding the ctrl keys to caltrops (where i noticed the mistake)

Hello Sli,
my friends and me were playing on a private dedicated Server and we had much fun. But we had a little problem with saving oure vehicles. Everytime we are loading one of oure vehicles they are spawning with nothing else than Railguns on it. The other attachments won't save.
We had much fun playing youre mod but this is something we woulkd like to see fixed.

Ohhh interesting, very interesting. Yea it probably is that. The library by default always has those reset, but because you deleted them it will try and load 'nil' vehicles. I will have to patch that. Use !reset library as below and it should definitely fix it. Thank you for the information!

We have only had a server up for 2 days. It's a dedicated server. I am the only person it has happened to. I think I know why it happened. I deleted the 2 starter cars out of my library and until that point it worked just fine so I am guessing it is something to do with removing the two starter cars from your saved cars.

Hi AngryToaster. Has this been happening since the new version (v0.8.2c), what was the last version you played on? It sounds like your library may have been corrupted somehow — you can use !reset library in chat to clear it and start again, although you will permanently lose those two vehicles if you do that.

After using !reset, if that does not fix the problem then the issue is most likely server side. Are you playing on the official servers (AU1 or AU2) or another server?

@Sil for some reason I am getting a strange issue. I have 2 vehicles saved but for both vehicles all it shows is a background of ocean waves and I cannot load or delete them. I tried deleting my local data and that did not fix anything.

Just updated to v0.8.2c to maintain compatibility with Arma 3 1.48. Older versions of Get Wrecked may or may not function correctly in this version; so please make sure you are using this latest release first before reporting issues. Thanks!

Hey, it's just a mission file so you don't actually need to download anything to play — just find a server running it and join. Alternatively drop the .pbo in your MPMissions folder in your main Arma 3 directory, then use a tool such as TADST to run a dedicated server with it (recommended). The .md files are just text files that explain copyright info, installation options etc.

Thanks Kevin, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The crashes related to HMG/GMGs and some vehicle collisions appear to be fixed in the latest version v0.8.2. That version will likely be released this weekend, or you can hop on the official server to try a test version.

On another note, anyone who wants a quick start guide should definitely check out Orangesherbet's new tutorial/guide on this mod (link in description). It covers all the basics, plus has some extra trips regarding surviving in zone and using your weapons and modules effectively.

Great mod by the way. We tested it last night and we ran into a few occassion like Ochsos below. Each time it was on the battlefield when the player was either killed due to explosions or at the end of the out of zone limits timer. The games freezes with sound running and a dark screen. The other players can see the bugged player but cannot interact. We have to relog to clear it.

We are running a vanilla server with no mods.
