Great work on the Shock Ranger Corps armor set — the design is excellent! However, there's a problem with how the AI interacts with it.
Currently, the AI treats the armor suit as a diving suit, so they insert oxygen tanks into the suit. But the armor suit doesn't consume oxygen, and the helmet isn't recognized as a valid container for oxygen tanks either. As a result, bots eventually run out of oxygen and suffocate.
To fix this, I recommend either:
Making the armor suit itself consume oxygen like a diving suit,
or
Configuring the helmet to function like a diving mask, so the AI can place oxygen tanks in it.
This would make the armor set more AI-friendly and prevent accidental deaths during bot-controlled missions.
looking forward to updates!
That said, I'd double check to make sure the helmets are actually prioritizing sub oxygen first. I've currently got my captain in a full Archon suit, and it seems to be prioritizing whatever I put in the tank slot first. Tested with the vanilla O2 tank, reinforced oxygen tank and the rebreather from EK, and in all cases, it was drawing from the slot despite being in the sub/a city. Granted, the rebreather's battery drains slowly, but the O2 tanks went down at a decent clip it looked to me.
@-Z- it uses a really small amount of power so it should be too big of a deal if you just make sure to change it every hour or so
@Пулемётчики should work fine!
@deadcheese101 it's probably not compatible with certain mods which change how radiation works since it actually just spawns a nuclearaftereffectemitter which inflicts radiation sickness. also, don't stand right on top of it if you don't want it to a bunch of damage to you. it's a fraction of the damage of a grenade in a very small radius around it when it activates
@murlock_murgle i honestly have no clue what kind of witchcraft i'd have to do to make the NPCs change the oxygen, and last i checked the helmets were allowing passthrough oxygen

@Kasigz it should be something like 8000m
@Hun_Peter probably at some point
All suits in the mod are pressure-immune.

My crew: Annihilated.
Me: Take a wild guess.
Helios is incredibly powerful, could definitely take out a covenant carrier. Use with caution.
@Heavenly 8000 meters
@Big JZ510 i wouldn't know why.. it works for me
@MonsterKillers1973 i haven't tested it with neurotrauma, but i assume it works fine. everything else definitely works (at least with my testing)
it works for me, i have no clue :(
@DarkMoonofDeath
i have no idea honestly
@Xenomorph, Hammer Goblin, Vergil, son of Sparda
yeah, it seems like the most recent update broke the shield pack
Neurotrauma
Enhanced Armaments + Fuel for the Fire
Baroverhaul
There are things I assume would hurt it, I think.. Any ideas?
