I absolutely love this mod. I forgot I didn't have it for 1.6 and quickly found out when I self cast regrow limbs on my solo colonist and ended up in a coma.

@Pasaway No worries, glad you like the mod, when I'm less busy I'll get to fixing the whole Puppeteer dependency. Glad I was able to eventually get around to messing with Staticlord

@Myf: I didn't have it installed. I figured I might not need it if not using puppeteer and forgot all about it. Thank you for the quick reply. I love your mod.

P.S. I had asked about buffing static lord previously, so I am pumped to see you were able to do something about it.

@Pasaway Do you have Vanilla Psycasts Expanded - Puppeteer installed? the mod requires you to have it, I have heard of the patch not working if you do not have that mod installed.

I seem to be having a problem with the mod. I am not getting the updated functions. I deleted and uninstalled the mod, and reinstalled, but it is still not updating.

The files look good. I can see the changes in the xml file. Does anyone have any advice?

"Timeskip Meditation ability no longer causes a Psychic coma after use", precast the RWoM chronomancer "Reverse Time" on the pawn and later "Timeskip Meditation", and no coma. :cozybethesda:

Regrow limb is a pretty nice change. Concerning Word of healing, would you consider making it so the healing speed scale on psy sensitivity? I feel like it would help balance it according to your progression level

New Update:

Protector's Word of Healing now heals at a way faster rate compared to it's normal heal rate, I did it because for the most part Word of Healing is used to maybe give healing wounds a little boost, but with this change it makes it's healing rate much higher, if too strong I can always take it down a notch.

Protector's Regrow Limbs no longer keeps the target pawn's consciousness at a minimum, pawns regrowing limbs can continue their day as usual as their limbs are regenerating.

Staticlord's Chainbolt damage increased, keeping it at a sweet spot that isn't a insta-kill for targeted pawns.

New Update:

Staticlord always annoyed me. In it's description it's supposed to make it seem like a Staticlord Psycaster is supposed to be a master of lightning, but honestly true to its name, barely did anything but little static and stuns.

Now with this update Bolt is stronger and reliable, Chain Lightning is a proper bolt of lighting that does actual decent damage to pawns, and Ball Lightning is now an explosive projectile.

Ball Lightning refuses to be given two separate damage types. I cannot give it Explosion + EMP, and so I just made it an explosion, if I can figure out why I will fix it and update the mod. If not I'll probably patch in a new ability on the Staticlord which is a Ball Lightning (EMP) and a Ball Lightning (DMG) or something of the sort.

This mod alongside others will update into 1.6 so no worries, but my psycast mods might take some time if the new Update or DLC breaks things.

@Anime Yeah I'll look into it when I have time, worst case just pop in VPE - Puppeteer, I don't think it's super taxing as a mod

@kanid99 how weird that it worked for you but it didn't for me.

I'm glad that we were able to troubleshoot it, I'll put a disclaimer until I can figure out how to fix the patches to only activate when a mod is present.

It is puppeteer., at least from my testing.

I went thru the XML in your mod and remarked out/disabled one patch set at a time for each Psycast path.

When I remarked out the entry for Puppeteer, it worked properly. I dont use that mod.

I ran the process to verify integrity with change. I going to look into it myself too and see if I can figure it out. There must be something different about mine vs yours. Do you have all the DLC ?

@kanid99 the farthest I'd think to go is to verify your games integrity as a final ditch effort, if that doesn't work let me know and I'll see if I can figure out a reason the patch may be broken for some people

So I did a complete unsubscribe resubscribe on steam to this and VPE and vanilla framework. I'm still only getting 2 years with the de-age psycast. I'm not sure what's causing this to be honest if you don't have the same issue and can't recreate it. I also try to revert VPE and framework to an older build via the GitHub site but still no go.

It's almost as if the patching in your XML is just not patching at all for some reason. Just baffling.

@kanid99 I subscribed to the current version of my tweaks mod and I tested them all out and they are all working as intended, including Age de-aging my pawn by 5 years.

Try un-subscribing and re-subscribing to my mod so that a fresh install is there. It could be the framework updating thats being a little silly and messing with stuff, but for sure for sure my tweaks are working.

I just did a test stripping out all mods, except VPE, Vanilla Framework and the game core files + DLC.

Age is still only giving two years to the caster. Maybe the more recent update to VPE or the Framework broke your patch ?

Is there any way we could get Anomaly integration for Necropath and Shamblers? I feel like Enthrall would be decently useful if it used the Shambler code instead of its own half-assed version that only works on humans.

For whatever reason, Age/Time Reversal no longer are affected by this mod. Im certain its a mod conflict, just not sure which one yet.

very well, i'll take a look at what other mod may intercede but put yours to almost the buttom, after any and all vanilla expended mods. I dont recally have any other mod that changes pyscats than the vanilla expended and the "no natural psyfocus decay" maybe that one, but its unlikely.

@Akry I just tested the mod with only Vanilla Psycasts Expanded installed, and all my patches are working as intended, I was able to de-age my pawn by 5 years, Plant Timeskip has the increased range and doesn't age my psycaster.

Make sure my mod on the mod list is placed after all Psycast mods.

If that doesn't fix it try un-subscribing and re-subscribing to the mod.

if all else fails then you have a mod that is messing with the psycasts and by extension messing with my mod, so keep an eye out for something like that.

This mod is still 100% working as intended.

Does not work.
Tried Chronopath age, the pawn only de aged by 2 years instead of 5.
Plant timeskip has no increased range and does still age the caster by a full year.
I would assume the other tweaks dont work either. Maybe the mod does not patch correctly, altho there was no error in the log.

Chronopath and necropath ability tweaks don't seem to be working properly for me. I've tested with just the bare bones, harmony, VE framework and VE psycasts, and ofc your mod. Chronopath, the pawn still ages, plant timeskip doesn't have increased range. necropath, skeletons aren't controllable/draftable. Thanks for the awesome mod though

Is it possible to remove coma at all when certain treshold met? Like no coma for 500+% psysensitivity. It just makes no sense for artifical manmade gods with several thousands of PS% to fall asleep after casting neurostorm (e. g.), when they can annihilate the 1/8 of the map with a single agressive heat dump.

I agree, I love the necromancer build in Rimworld of Magic, however jecstools just hogs all my resources and makes it stutter too much, whoever jec is needs to straighten up. :Lobstrosity:

if only there where a better way then rim world of magic while i love it, it just does not fit in with my play as well now a days.
