Hello. When used with the mod "Shinebug Reactor", this mod prevents new shinebugs from being added to the reactor. No crashes, just that when the eggs in reactor storage hatches new shinebugs appear outside of the reactor.

the mod has broken recently, my dupes got unupgraded and the buildings disappeared, when i uninstalled and reinstalled it would tll m to restart every time i booted the game

Really cool mod, for the most part it also works great with Bionics, but the increased kCal consumption obviously does not apply to Bionic dupes, so would be great to have increase power consumption for Bionics

2. Base Metabolism is 100. If you upgrade a critter twice it would then have a base of 300. With the vanilla version of the effect, the critter would still have 220 when it should have 60 since it is effectively 3 critters at that point with 20 each.

Well this is cool. couple questions:

1) does using this require also using the critter traits mod from Sgt Imales?
2) so for critters, it says glum/miserable effects have been changed from -80 flat to -80% multiplier. Without mod, glum effect means critter has 20% of its base metabolism rate. I don't think I understand what effect the mod has on that? Would it be 20% of the total increased metabolism rate after upgrading the critter?

It also seems the recipe will not show unless you have discovered at least 1 of the ingredients.
Glass. Steel. Salt Water.
Salt Water does not count unless you have access via Pitcher Pump.
I will also add this information in the description of the "Nuclear Apothecary" with the next update.

If you are in Sandbox mode then you also need the technology "Micro-Targeted Medicine" researched. It is the same technology required to build the "Nuclear Apothecary".

Otherwise, I am unable to replicate this issue.
Perhaps, ensure you have discovered and have access to all 3 ingredients.

I can see if I can remove the research requirement in the future.

Radioactive Serum is made at the Nuclear Apothecary by a Duplicant with Medicine Compounding using Radbolts, Glass, Salt Water, and Steel. ( 2/sec, 1kg, 1kg, 1kg) (200 second crafting time)

The Injection Chamber will be tagged as Medical Equipment which prevents this issue. This will make it a conflicting building for Room Types that are not Hospitals. A few strings were not translated so those have been fixed as well.

This will be updated when Klei releases their upcoming November 2024 Quality of Life update as I only have this fix made in the version of the mod that supports the current Beta Testing Branch.

The "Injection Chamber" building can be placed anywhere. It does not require a specific room to function.
It is not automatic. A Duplicant must be chosen. To assign a Duplicant, 3 requirements must be met.
1. The "Injection Chamber" has a vial of "Radioactive Serum"
2. The chosen Duplicant does not have the "GlowStick" trait.
3. A different available Duplicant has the Advanced Medical Care skill. This Duplicant performs the injection.

On completion, the chosen Duplicant will receive the "GlowStick" trait.

I can not replicate your issue after the update to v1.0.3. I am able to upgrade all variants of critters including babies.
Baby critters with upgrades from birth should gain the appropriate trait when they grow up.
Please ensure your mod is up to date by reinstalling the mod or using Mod Updater by Sgt_Imalas.
If it still does not work, you could provide your save file so I can try to replicate.

It doesn't work on tamed ones either, I don't know why. well, although I have a mod that allows them to eat from feeders, maybe it affects this. although the diggers did not want to improve except for the usual one, I did not check on other animals (I use a translator so maybe something is wrong to translate)

This is a Steam issue as far as I know. Here is a link to the Klei forums where others had this issue with potential solutions.

It happened to me also at some point. I think I ended up having to reinstall the game but there's some other things you can try first.

You could also try Mod Updater by Sgt_Imalas but I don't believe it actually helps this particular issue. It is good for ensuring you actually get the most recent versions of your mods through Steam though.

I think this mod removes egg shell drops on non-upgraded critters? I set up a test world and incubated a shine bug egg - with this mod enabled, nothing is dropped. With the mod disabled, egg shell drops as usual. There are no errors in the logs or anything like that.

I believe that most mods that have an in game options menu use a library called PLib created by Peter Han available under MIT license but I have not taken the time to learn how to use it. It is something that I may do eventually. It is nice to have it in game. So until then, manual editing is required.

After seeing your comment I subscribed to the mod and ran it to check. For me, the config file was created in my expected location:
...\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\config\Upgradeable_Dupes_And_Critters\config.json

The mods ID for me is 3329512249 which matches the url and the install location of mods\steam\3329512249


However, as long as it is functioning then it is acceptable.

Only thing i just saw is uhh, the conig file is smth you gotta search for in the mod files itself and needing to look for it using this mods id (1726674162)

Afaik, if you put the config file in ...\Documents\Klei\OxygenNotIncluded\mods\config its recognized by the ingame mod manager list allowing you to change stuff directly ingame and without having to deal with the mod-id
