im not sure but i dont think Phaeton created the textures for extreme gore and blood mod, i might be wrong tho but for my addon specifically, the og decals were made by Phaeton

theyre not upscaled default textures, theyre custom textures made by Phaeton
they were originally made for l4d2 but i ported them to gmod because they looked good

so these are the default blood but upscaled? hell yeah
