@Heavenly The popup is what forces the pause, unfortunately. There's no "pause the game" function, so a clickable popup is what the original author used

Can the notification become just a TOAST in stead of a POPUP . So we dont need to click on the option.

@Red Gotcha. My suggestion for the future (for everyone, not just you) is that if you've actually found something not working or not working right with a mod, instead of just saying update, give a description of the problem. Otherwise the author has to try and find whatever the problem could be on their own. Giving a small description gives them a place to start looking to try and fix it.

ISSUE
The issue for me was "Purple square icons were displayed on some councilor task buttons".

FIX SUMMARY
After several hours of testing, I finally got to the bottom of this issue, at least for my mod list/playset.

WHAT DID NOT WORK
1) Against the original suspicion, it actually has nothing to do with the excellent mod 'Better UI Scaling'; obviously, unsubscribing/resubscribing to it does not fix the purple icons.
2) Verifying game files did not fix anything for me either.

WHAT DID WORK
1) Disabling the mods listed below make the purple boxes go away for me.
Auto promote culture
Auto conversion
Auto increase control
[1.15] Auto-Pause (updated)

Note: I am posting this message to the Workshop Discussions section of each mod to inform others, hope it helps you get rid of the annoying purple boxes.

@Red are you saying that because you tried to play on 1.16 with this and it isn’t working or are you saying that because the launcher says it’s not updated?

If it’s the second, I’ll let you in on a little secret. The launcher is reading a single file that has absolutely no bearing on the actual mod and so the launcher doesn’t actually know if it works or not.

Thanks for keeping this updated! Like you said, a lot of this is included in the game now, but they didn't add any way to pause on battle's end or major notifications, so this mod is still very necessary.

Pause on army finished movement please. It's mega-useful when chasing AI, or generally in wars in order to optimize the movement of armies.

I'm wondering if there is a way to mod in more options for the message settings. It isn't as robust as I had hoped it would have been.

honestly i think this mod and most auto pause mods are obsolete now, the new ck3 message settings can pause in most situations of this mod

Honestly, I hate that “feature” of the launcher. It doesn’t actually tell you if a mod works or not, it’s just a single line in a single file that has 0 function in the mod. All it does is confuse people into thinking a mod is broken when it works fine.

1.13.0.3 hotfix broke the launcher alert ⚠ again

i know its been updated to 1.13.0.1 but the Launcher is still telling me i haven't downloaded the latest version.

Haven't had a chance to look at the new patch. Guess the new message and alerts system wasn't as good as it could be if these are still needed. Oh well. Thankfully we have modders!
