This mod looks great, I'm really hoping for an update to 1.6.

хороший мод, надеюсь он продолжит развиваться

yeah the rituals seem to be fucked whenever they bring ghouls with since they dont participate
The Dutchman 8 Apr @ 11:30am
@Swagatron You mean like the previous comments that asked the exact same thing that you clearly didnt read? Smh
Swagatron 28 Mar @ 8:31am
Lets say, for the sake of example, that the cultists arrive for a raid and everyone but their nastiest, most ghoulish members cut and run. What did I do wrong?
meep34524 27 Feb @ 4:57pm
warm it up then.
angel20015alejandro 25 Feb @ 7:10pm
One question, let's say that every time a cult raid arrives all the enemies turn around and leave the map but the ghouls stay, what mod could cause this?
Sumatris 15 Feb @ 6:59am
Gotta say I'm really loving the regeneration gene. I just cut a gal out of a warcasket, and watching her regrow her arms and legs over a couple of days was quite the experience.
The rest of the mod is also pretty dang cool, so thanks for making and sharing it :-).

Fixed the cult raid bug by burst7389 (discord)

Haven’t checked the fix yet, might return to modding in the future.
DeathTomato 4 Jan @ 7:45pm
Can confirm, also having issues with cultist raids just leaving, I'd be glad to help test things if need be

Этот мод хоть и маленький но крутой, спасибо.:stress:

Is there any way around the problem Sir Qomorah brings up? Can I disable the Ghouls?
бибяка 17 Dec, 2024 @ 3:04pm
Блин а ведь и в правду, почему гулей нет в рейдах у культистов?
Nicky Moh 12 Nov, 2024 @ 10:30am

Весьма неплохой мод. Продолжай работу родной
Sir Qomorah 5 Nov, 2024 @ 1:34am
I have the same problem with cultist raids that just leave the map. As far as I understand, this happens because of ghouls. When enemies spawn, the game randomly chooses one of them as the one who will perform the ritual. But ghouls can't perform the ritual. And so they just leave.
Julian333XD 4 Nov, 2024 @ 11:12pm
the skin colour gene refers to flashbeasts, not fleshbeasts, but only in the description!
cheeto1199 4 Nov, 2024 @ 7:16am
same here zanx
Zanx 19 Oct, 2024 @ 7:42am
After adding this mod, when the raid happens, the whole group of raiders spawn and with a few ghouls, but all the raiders instantly leaves the area, and leaves the ghouls behind, so nothing ever happens.

Im not getting any errors in log.

Latest raid were supposed to summon fleshbeast, but they just left the instant they spawned in.
TheTrueJohnMadden 18 Oct, 2024 @ 7:39pm
I would also like to say thank you for adding the details of the mod to the page itself. For what it's worth (I'm a random person on the internet, my opinion doesn't really matter) I don't think a SILHOUETTE is a good showcase of a xenotype and comments aren't good mod reviews.
Kimo' 10 Oct, 2024 @ 4:33am
Thank you for the detailed informations!
viva  [author] 30 Sep, 2024 @ 5:01am
added the description of the xenotype and genes under a spoiler
Shocktactics 28 Sep, 2024 @ 3:45pm
Would be cool if you added something like an infection, plague, or more thematically mechanites where a "corrupted" type of baseliner genes could be switched for standard("boils Nurgle stuff",extra eyes, mabye limbs, cosmetic,or min function types) it would be small at first but the more enitys (or just as time goes on) the genes would change into ether pawn ruining changes or a vast improvement, transformations into stuff like gorehulks, or just bigger Ghouls ( or a pile of fleshbeasts to mess with the player) which could leak into quests, rewards, etc. but thats just my idea, and Im no modder so this is just wishy washy type of stuff.
CrackaJack 27 Sep, 2024 @ 11:36am
you can see the fkin outlines of the xenotype on the thumb. trust the authors and people who tested it, or dont, or just use rimpy to create a test modlist like you should anyway.
Gerewoatle 26 Sep, 2024 @ 3:27am
@isiarca - You sound like either a paranoid lunatic or someone who's really bad at manipulation.

"No spoilers" isn't even on the same planet as "ermagerd, I'm not saying sussy modder is putting malware in their mods but I'm super implying it!"

Back the fuck up a step or ten.
MrUglyFace 19 Sep, 2024 @ 9:14am
I agree. I don’t think that hiding what the mod so you're surprised is a TERRIBLE idea, but for people who don’t want that there should at least be a little spoiler section so I know what I’m downloading
Gideon 19 Sep, 2024 @ 9:09am
I have to agree with the statement that I would prefer to know what I'm downloading. It isn't a small amount of commitment to start a new game of Ribaorld. At least IMO. Could instead add a spoiler tag with description. I'm probably not going to download because I don't want to add bloat I may not like. No offense to anyone that does like this thought process. Just not for me. Best of luck out there peeps.
MrUglyFace 19 Sep, 2024 @ 9:07am
@gerewoatle actually, let me break down how long it takes for me to check the mod contents. My game takes ages to start because of all the mods I have installed, so it takes about 10 minutes to start. 1 time to start it to even install the mod in the first place, 2 times to check the mod, and a 3rd time if I don’t like it. That’s 30 minutes.

Let’s be kind here and say i took precautions to make that shorter. I clear my mod list of everything except the mod to make it load in around 30 seconds. I still have to restart again to re-enable all of my mods. That’s 20 minutes minimum. That comment took me about 5 minutes to write, which could’ve been reduced to 5 seconds had the mod author just put what the mod adds in the description

So yes, it does in fact take longer to check than it did to write that comment
MrUglyFace 19 Sep, 2024 @ 8:47am
That comment wasn’t specifically about the mod, which clearly none of you got. If it’s on the most popular of the week I don’t doubt it’s a good mod. But this is about all mods that do this. Why do you think mod showcase videos exist? Because some people don’t want to download the mod just to see what it offers when the creator easily could’ve just put a description doing so.

And yes, I’m lazy. Get over it
CrackaJack 19 Sep, 2024 @ 2:57am
@ugleh chill. theres many comments stating the xenotype is cool, that should justify testing it yourself, right? its not a bad surprise, and not even that surprising, considering its for the horax cult. should be vanilla in all regards.
CrackaJack 19 Sep, 2024 @ 2:46am
<displayPriorityInXenotype>530</displayPriorityInXenotype>

is the same as in biotech expansion:core, both together throw an error, no clue if this is trouble but im mentioning it
Gerewoatle 19 Sep, 2024 @ 1:34am
@MrUglehFace - Just saying... it would have taken you less time to look at the mod contents than it did to write your little "In Defense of Laziness" diatribe.

Maybe learn to use that oh-so-precious time of yours more efficiently?
Brother Tanithos 18 Sep, 2024 @ 11:32pm
@MrUglehFace Crazy concept, but if you don't like how the mod is presented, don't download it instead of crying about how the world doesn't cater to you.
MrUglyFace 18 Sep, 2024 @ 4:23pm
I cant believe people are arguing in favor of intentionally hiding mod content

if you're going to hide mod content, I'm not going to download it just to see what it is, I'm just not going to download it. I do not want to go in game, check what it adds, then see if I want to have it, because if I don't want it, then you just wasted my time for no reason. I don't appreciate that.

And to the people who are saying "ooo you're just lazy, you just don't want to check" 1. Yes. 2. I know this is going to come as a shock to some of you, but some of us have lives outside of gaming. people like that do not want to waste their time checking what content a mod adds because the mod author wanted to be quirky
viva  [author] 17 Sep, 2024 @ 10:55am
@kingallhobos, thank you so much! you're damn good, bro!!!!!
kingallhobos 17 Sep, 2024 @ 10:22am
Looking for a mod that, once again, improves the Anomaly DLC and makes it more accessible and interesting? Well this mod is perfect for revolutionising the Horax Cult and making them SIGNIFICANTLY better, without adding too much to overwhelm you!
Proof? I have reviewed it;

https://youtu.be/Jd50d7877Hs

An amazing mod that *currently* doesn't add too much, but already in its early development we have a huge improvement to the Horax Cult with the new xenotype being the highlight.
Good job!
Rex 17 Sep, 2024 @ 9:08am
You could just make a discussion post with information on the genes and such - give them a way to find out if they want, without spoiling it for everyone- ope you did it
viva  [author] 17 Sep, 2024 @ 8:46am
Maybe with the update I'll make a table with content 🥴
Gerewoatle 17 Sep, 2024 @ 2:15am
Alternatively - keep them hidden just so we can find out how many people are both lazy and boring.

We can start a tally.
Arieslia 17 Sep, 2024 @ 12:16am
put the genes on the mod page, it's a really bad idea to hide your mod's contents for any reason.
Gerewoatle 15 Sep, 2024 @ 11:20pm
@Prophet - Then look in the mod folder. If you're actually serious about curating your mods for compatibility this should be standard practice for you.
Prophet 15 Sep, 2024 @ 10:46pm
gotta agree that we need more info
i NEED to know what this mod adds so i don't have double ups and potential incompatibilities
jaeger972 15 Sep, 2024 @ 4:01pm
rimsential - total control allows you to customize xenotypes among other things
kuni 15 Sep, 2024 @ 5:34am
I figure a mod such as Xenotype Spawn Control would allow me to overwrite the restrictions imposed on the Horax Cult by this mod, correct? I don't have time to check it at the moment.
TIIKKETMASTER 14 Sep, 2024 @ 12:47pm
okay i checked it out, looks good.
Gerewoatle 13 Sep, 2024 @ 11:32pm
@McRib - There's nothing scummy about a horror-themed mod wanting to leave a few surprises to be discovered. If you can't be arsed to crank up the game, start a test map and check, just go into the folder and look at the defs to give yourself an idea of what's in store for you.
fgrewsdtxs 13 Sep, 2024 @ 10:57pm
I'll say that the new xenotype looks/is awesome without spoiling anything
