Don't use this one for now, use the original one. And yes it is save game compatible. This was only temporarily for the beta.

Hello!! I have a question, does this mod work for games that have already started? I met you on YouTube and I saw this mod and I would like to use it but I have a game already started and I would not like to have to start a new game again

@Pajdo this is what a beta is for. Suggestions and testing. It isn't set in stone. Would appreciate more constructive feedback from you. Thank you, your feedback is always valued.
Pajdo 29 Sep, 2024 @ 3:16am
@Summary thank you for taking my opinion in consideration. It is much better now!

@Pajdo it has been changed since your last comment. I had received similar feedback and decided to tone down the colors a great deal. You can see the new screens in the pictures above. Currently, I like the balance of the color borders to slightly reveal the nature of the message, and not to mention the addition of more message icons, allows for messages to be quickly distinguishable. Let me know if your comment still refers to the current version, as I do agree the older version with the completely colored icons were a cartoonish.
Pajdo 24 Sep, 2024 @ 10:45am
@Summary I don't like the colours and and new icons. I like it old school its way too cartoonish

@Redin5ide glad to hear the issue is fixed

@LooseLeaf thank you for being vocal, it really motivates me to keep modding

@Mercurius unfortunately, I am not a big fan of making unit submods, reason being is that they need to be constantly updated with every patch, this is a lot of work, which is why I have largely ignored updating my Spartan unit submod. I tried my best to strike some middle ground with the DEI team by convincing them to include a thorax pike unit in the Spartan roster, which is not exactly what my submod does, but it is a good compromise in the right direction. The DEI team prefer to stick to historicity (which I agree with) when it comes to units. Unfortunately, this also means it is virtually impossible to convince them to flesh out rosters, especially when it is not backed historically.

Nice work, Summary! If I may be so bold, is there any possibility of you making more unit submods for DeI in the future? After enjoying your Spartan one, I thought that Athens could really do with some enhancements, perhaps to its navy

dude amazing

@Redin5ide The issue has been fixed with the update. Kindly confirm from your end as well. Thank you for the report.
Redin5ide 16 Sep, 2024 @ 11:29pm
I mean clickin on the province UI you'll see "0" garrison unit. I think they are there, maybe just a problem on displaying
Summary  [author] 16 Sep, 2024 @ 11:23pm
@Redin5ide what do you mean no garrison, you mean to say AI settlements have no garrison and are undefended?
Redin5ide 16 Sep, 2024 @ 12:06am
I think the problem is still there, i've just tried the beta with DEI 1.3.4 ROTR campaign and got zero garrison on AI settlement
Summary  [author] 15 Sep, 2024 @ 12:43am
If the problem still persists in the Beta version let me know, I will try to fix it.
Redin5ide 15 Sep, 2024 @ 12:39am
Copy that thx Sum
Summary  [author] 14 Sep, 2024 @ 11:56pm
@Redin5ide the regular mod is not for Beta 1.3.4 it works only with 1.3.3.
Redin5ide 14 Sep, 2024 @ 11:32am
Dunno if it's still a problem of this beta, cause I didn't try this out. But with the regular mod and beta 1.3.4 on, in Rotr campaign I always get no garrison displayed in AI Faction in settlement UI

UPDATE As per popular opinion people are asking me to revert to the two tone version. I have made the changes to all icons to have two tone, however, the border around the icons will retain their colour coding. I feel this is the perfect compromise between the old version and the new colour coding to easily identify positive, negative, military, naval, technology, neutral, diplomacy, effects.

UPDATE Desaturated the message icons.
Summary  [author] 14 Sep, 2024 @ 5:37am
@Pajdo what specific aspect didn't you like about them?
Pajdo 14 Sep, 2024 @ 5:07am
Ill keep the last version which I really like, if its possible off course. I don't like new event messages icons.. you have to get familiar with it all over again and it is just cosmetics. Thank you nevertheless
