"The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dlll."
@Rymd Yeah this should be compatible as a reshade and/or 2.0. You would just have to tweak the ini file to get the new features working.
In the download there should be a file called SWEETFX Readme, which contains a couple troubleshooting notes that should point you in the right direction. This is going off of memory, but I believe your error is due to sweetfx having write permissions for the insurgecny2 folder. Again check the readme for more details.
@lord wiener
No you can only use either no AA at all, or sweetfx's integrated SMAA. This is due to how certain filters can overwrite sweetfx's changes to the game.
@JAX
Thank you for your kind words.
Yeah, I can see now why having screenshots in the download is unnecessary, especially in bmp format. Originally I was going to put all those screenshots on the mod page, but the files where too large. (Yeah I forgot that I could just convert the damn thing and then post them here)
@Arcadeguy
Yeah that would be my fault. Forgot to tick a setting in the config file.
I've updated the download with the fix and removed the screenshots fropm the download.
My apoligies in advance.
Why would I want a bunch of screenshots of what its going to look like, when Ive just downloaded it to install and see it for myself.
That could be anything, mod related or not.
You could always try someone the solutions listed here
http://sweetfx.thelazy.net/?page_id=112
I hope you can find the solution to your problem
The fps hit could be the smaa or hdr enabled through the shader suite, so you can turn those off and see if it helps
For the configurator itself, you could always go to the creators site and download a fresh version. The main problem people seem to have is that the drive letter for the configurator is wrong due to each person having a different letter for their storage.
If the configurator does not work even after a fresh install, you could always manually edit the text files in order to disable whatever is hitting your fps.
I hope this reply helps you solve your troubles.
Yes, it is just chrome being overprotective.
"(Note: if for some reason your anti-virus or web-browser warns you of possible mal-ware, ignore it, as it is a false-positive due to the included .dll files). "
According to the creator of SweetFX, you can.
However, you would have to run it through wine/bootcamp, due to mac/linux not having DirectX support.
Try setting it up without the game running.
If the affects work in game (you notice the color shift on the main menu), then you should be able to still use the settings stock.
If you really need to alter the settings of the shaders, then you can manually edit the Sweetfx_setttings.txt file to change the settings.
Does the configurator give an error afterwards?
Are you trying to change the lighting mid-game?
Some more details would aid in understanding your problem.
Hope you can get it fixed soon!
I didn't know that would casue the injector to crash :/
Thanks for letting me know about that!
D3DXCreateEffectFromFile failed
try to use "H:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2" for shader files.
Follow up to my previous post, you will also want to adjust the values under the Lift Gamma Gain catagory and the Vibrance catagory.
I'm glad you figured out your problem!
@Okami Senpai
In the configurator, look at the Tonemap category.
In the details box near the bottom are the values you want to adjust.
The main details that should affect the darkness would be saturation, exposure, bleach, and gamma.
Sadly, there isn't a "one value fits all", so you will have to adjust a setting, alt-tab back into the game, and see if it fits your monitor.
I hope this helps you in solving your problem. If it doesn't I will see about finding a value that won't make the nights as dark.
In night maps, its more of the opposite, with light sources giving off a semi-realistic amount of light, without making the map feel like its bathed in a full moon 24/7
Due to the update changing a lot of the night maps' color scheme, I plan on retaking screenshots and uploading them. And Its not as complicated as the description makes it out to be. At the core of it, its just dropping files into your insurgency2 folder and disabling any AA. I just wanted to be concise when detailing the instructions.
