as of now, not in the near future as I lack the necessary photoshop abilities to make them. Though it is something I do wish add at some point after the Steam Engine rework is finished

im also trying to fix some animation issues with the Reclaimers not raising their shields for the shieldwall, as of now i have the Steam Engine model in a separate file due to the scale of the model and to make organization easier

The steam engine is planned to be brought back, however it is taking much longer than i thought it would due to issue with the skeleton and animations of the updated model

Valkyrie units are recruitable at Ironbrows Workshop and Karak Zorn. while the mountaineers are recruitable at the silver pinnacle

like dwarf units based on a specific clan, like Clan Helhein dwarf warriors or the Angrund Hammers?

I might do something like that in the future, though im not sure of a good way to implement them, as im not very satified with the current method Im using. What could work is something similar to how the lizardmen get redhead skinks but as of now im not sure how to implement that that.

I also want to finish up the custom models for the current units i have

the minimum turn timer for non-female dwarf t5 units should be 3 after the upgrades. ill take a look and see if i can fix that with the coming update. im also thinking abit replacing the grudgeshedders(and give them to the dwarf mountaineers from 2 or 3 edition WHFB or the cult of Gazul instead) with drake pistols

The main thing is not to limit them. They already pay for their uniqueness with a VERY long hiring time. Otherwise...you can leave them like this, the main thing is that they don't become even weaker.

Much of what makes the melee units t5 is their greatly increased mass and hp per unit, which isnt shown on the screenshot, making them capable of stoping chariots from crashing through the lines and outlasting exalted bloodletters in melee. I also trying to calculate how much to increase their melee defense so that can get 100 with all upgrades and max level. though much of their strength also comes in that they get buffed by dwarf warrior, miner and ironbreaker buffs in the tech tree.

thanks for the feedback, when I first set out to make this mod i underestimated how powerful 200 units in a regiment was. Dwarfs tend to have a lower population than other races but make up for it in their martial prowess and superior equipment. so I felt that lower it to 120 the same as norgrim ironbreakers would be more appropriate(this may change back to 200 if i can limit the amount of them per-army). that way we arent tredding on the grobi and skaven turf to much.
I was also getting flak in my dms for how bad the game lags with 200 shotguns going off at the same time lags their game to the point of crashing.

Somehow, every balance update makes the expensive T5 units weaker and weaker. The shooters still hold out simply because Dawi Gunpowder Units gives cooler shooters only in the ROR version, but the melee units there are already stronger and cheaper. Is it possible to somehow return the second version of this mod with the troops from the screenshots for those who liked the version with the stats from the screenshot, please?))

Almost 2 hours of manipulations with the game and endless crashes... As a result, it seems that this mod causes a fatal error when trying to open the menu of buildings of Karaz-Akarak. Why this happens is unclear((:steamthis:

good mod that unfortunately doesn't work very well.The main problem is that, as I understood it, these troops are available ONLY to Thorgrim the vindictive.When other lords occupy the necessary settlements, these troops are simply absent((:steamthis:

after the latest patch I cannot load my saved games :(
it says "elite dwarf" mod is missing but I actually made sure it is running and is on top of my mod list. I even tried unsubscribing and then redownloading it :( please help

thanks man much appreciated, I believe i gave the iron guard a bonus to large, though not as high as Slayers inorder to keep them, Slayers, relevant and give them a chance to fulfill their Slayers Oath
In the future once I get better at modeling(or find someone who could make it for me) I plan to give the model large tower shields to fit with their Ironwarden Shield passive ability like I did with the Dragon Slayers Axe and the axe model.

The invisible models were something I had to fix, I accidentally applied them to summoned miners and rangers units. I appreciate you telling me about it, otherwise i'm not sure I wouldve noticed

maybe the same as iron guard but spears/halbarts with for anti large would be nice

Next update will be a Dawi Land Train with 2 variants, an armored artillery train with 3 heavy Train mortars that fire cluster munitions and 8 other carts(likely filled with a mix of grudgeraker and organ guns), and a smaller variant with supporting role(replenishing ammo of units) more focused on defending existing artillery from flanking attacks(maybe summon a unit or 2 of giant slayers as well??)

This is really cool, I'd reccomend updating the mod page with images of the Iron guard and Morgrims wrath along with their stat cards to showcase this better. Love me some end tier dawi additions

ok so i might need to reword the discription, but there is only 2 units added(as of now)
that are tier 5.

i might add a tier 5 artillery piece in the future that functions similar to the dreadquake mortar,
a tier 1 and 2 shielded halberd unit of dwarf warriors and longbeards
and tier 4 sniper ranger unit(similar to Longrifle units)

but as of now those are still in concept
