can you make it so u can edit what each occupation can spawn with in sandbox settings cuz i dont want a veteran to spawn with an m16 on day one with op loot. i love the mod btw im not trying to hate i just want to make a suggestion to make it more enjoyable

@skweemish I run an RP server so most of my energy for this game goes to that so I havent even touched b42 yet.

Can you make it so that we can spawn with shotguns? I mean, spawning with an M16 is cool, but I like the shotguns more

It doesnt mess with loot tables or anything like that, and I find can openers all the time. Must have just been really poor luck. It could be interacting weird with another mod but I really don't see how thats happening as it doesn't even touch can openers. It only changes the clothing available at character creation and adds items to your inventory based on class/traits. It should not affect spawn tables at all. Thank you for bringing this to my attention anyways, you should be good to reactivate.

hey, i tried this mod a few days ago, really good in general, but the mod seemingly causes spawn issues whit can openers, in the run in which i tested the mod i was simply unable to find any, i searched for a good whille untill i surrendered and deactivated the mod, then the next run i just found a can opener in the house in which i spawned, idk if its the mod, if i was insanelly unlucky or a combination of the both

anyhow other than that, nice mod :steamthumbsup:

hey author, it wont work for me in multiplayer. any idea why, or just incompatible? yes, i did make sure to add it to the server.

It gives you a holster and a random police gun. This may include a shotgun. You get the holster even if you get the shotgun.

the bolt action rifle you got was likely from the Hunter trait: Which gives a hunting knife and a rifle.

I get a JS-2000 Shotgun and a m700 carbine or something and no pistol.

Yes, if youre talking about Britas Weapons.

Britas weapons replaces the vanilla items, so you will get whatever replacement that mod has for the equivalent weapon.

@Cosagradu You likely took the hiker trait which gives Big Backpack and it override the military backpack.

Its an oversight, I can fix it in a bit.

You do not need to have the Starter Kit setting on. It is currently not compatible with any modded traits or occupations. It should not cause issues but It will only spawn items for vanilla traits and occupations. I can hopefully change that in the future but it would require me to make a kit for each specific modded trait

Will the Starter Kit always generate if you choose a character mentioned in the mod? Or you must select the start package in the sandbox Settings.
How to interact with more traits‘ exile trait (the game starts with nothing).

amazing mod, love starting clothes choice for occupations. They seem very moderate but justified. Really brings PZ to Sims levels of char customization. The loot on spawn tho.. weirdly enough I wish could be toggled off

@ZnikyBaztard I dont know how to do that, still relatively new to modding. I did try to annotate my coding well so it would be easier to edit. I would reccomend looking at the lua files and building your own starter kits like that. You'd just have to find whatever occupation ID the custom occupation you wanna change is using.

How does this work with the Unemployed Occupations (I use More Traits and Heafoxy's Simple Traits Pack for my builds). Also how does this mod work with VFE and Guns of 93?

hello there , since a lot of people roles in the late apocalypse and use various occupation mods , could it be possible to have a way to make custom loadouts ? so you don't have to patch every occupational mod and people will just make their own .

i believe they start with a random consumer electronic like the generic video game headphones, disc player etc if I remember right.

Might make it compatible with True Music and have it spawn with a walkman, a random casette and headphones.

How do you start with it? Just load up the mod and you will automatically start with items based on your occupation and traits.

If you're asking how to favorite it just hit the star button under the images :)
