AHh, yes, load orders can be a bitch sometimes, glad its all sorted.

it's fixed, I just learned that mod order in the list has an impact on the mods, first time I read about that LOL

How so?, it was as of the 4th of January (Consumption rates not withstanding). Any error messages? QTDs? anything?
WHITE 9 Jan @ 9:10am
It's not working.
Lord Nighthawk  [author] 4 Jan @ 1:19pm
oh WOAH! that is WAY off 0.0 I have no idea why that should be happening, the only thing i messed with was <SensorRadius>10.0</SensorRadius>

Unless there is something going on behind the scenes I'm not aware of, material consumption should not be affected at all. I don't think this has anything to do with me, but ill double check it when and as soon as I get chance.

Hey Nighthawk, we're using this mod on a dedicated server, and I did some math because something looked very off, it seems to me that the welders are actually using up 10X more materials too :/ any idea why this could be happening? (I just built 5 lines of light armor 15 block tall, with 25 steel plates per armor block, and it should have cost me 1875 steel plates, but cost me 19K)

I started a new game in survival with just this mod installed. I enabled creative tools so i could spawn in materials to make a small platform and a welder and feed it plates with out taking 13 hours. And Im sorry to say, it all worked as expected. There where no issues. the large fixed welder assembled blocks out to 4-5 blocks in front of the welder as intended (and also fried me because i was careless). the Small grid welder was also improved as intended.

are you running another mods along side this one? Im not expecting conflicts, but Im not sure why you are having issues.
Lord Nighthawk  [author] 21 Nov, 2024 @ 2:05am
oh, how strange. let me look into that see if I can replicate the issue.

Please Help. I cannot get this mod working in survival for the life of me. I have tried everything from switching mods around to using other welder mods, nothing works. I even made a copy of my survival world and did nothing except change it to a creative save and the mod suddenly works perfectly fine again. It just won't work in survival. What am I doing wrong?
Lord Nighthawk  [author] 29 Oct, 2024 @ 3:28am
No problem
CHOO CHOO 28 Oct, 2024 @ 11:43am
Thanks for fixing that. Feels much better now!
Lord Nighthawk  [author] 28 Oct, 2024 @ 9:45am
OH!, I hadent even noticed the spelling mistake, dyslexia, its a pain. Anyway, I will go with the exclusion zone waring.
CHOO CHOO 28 Oct, 2024 @ 2:04am
Keep it large but add a warning to the mod description. The welder killing you when you're one block closer behind it won't make much of a difference, but if you reduce it even more it'll just become useless.

Also, please fix the mod title. Vallina!

Right, I have tested and replicated what you mentioned. And your right, 2 large grid blocks behind on the large, and 4 blocks behind the small.

I checked out the SBC. and there seems to be no value that indicates any kind of offset that I could tweak to fix the problem, at this time there are two possible fixes could be implemented as follows:

1: You build an exclusion zone or warning area near live welders to prevent work space accidents.

2: I reduce the active range slightly so its still greater than vanilla, but not so far behind the welder.

I Await feedback for a desision

makes sence given the previous description.
CHOO CHOO 21 Oct, 2024 @ 5:35am
It also kills you when you walk around behind it.
Lord Nighthawk  [author] 21 Oct, 2024 @ 4:04am
oh wow! that is a special kinda messed up. that was certainly not planned, leave that with me and ill get it fixed as soon as. I suspect it might have to do with an effect offset, it might not have moved along with the up-scaled range.
OVERLORDTHOR 20 Oct, 2024 @ 6:02pm
I noticed that this will cause the welders to weld things that are behind the welders, so if I have a wall of welders, or a rotating line of welders, it will assemble the projection in all directions and therefore make parts of it behind the welder.
Can this be set to limit the build to only in front of it, or does the industrial overhaul version fix this?

Vallina!
