I can confirm that happens when jumping from Hamlet to Shipwrecked DLC as well. Otherwise, great mod!

yeah, they never fixed that in the base game. i need to get back into the coding and see if there's a way now to do more error handling when i know it's not going to work, or else have warnings in the mod preferences not to use those slots for world hopping. it's really only the first 9 slots that are safe for that. what used to happen is that it will have probably have overwritten the world you have in slot 5 (the one in the same screen position on the screen you used). check there.

This mod is usually very stable, but if I start in Shipwrecked and attempt to jump to a RoG world with the Seaworthy and merge with a new world (this was saveslot 10, the only one that showed up as empty), it makes my game crash. Here's the error I got:

Ok so I believe I fixed the mod and how it broke with hamlet, all you got to do is find the mod folder and go into modinfo.lua and put hamlet_compatible = true under shipwrecked_compatible = true and that should fix the mod!

I love this mod but it's really not compatible with hamlet, it breaks when using the house expansion plan and skyworthy

Everytime I try to use the seaworthy or skyworthy in a save slot other then the original 5 ones my game crashes.

whoa. @purpleposeidon, is this on a mac environment? i'm trying to make sense of where you'd have access to steam folders directly to copy them around like that. that's an awesome workaround! i thought you could only do that with non-steam versions. i sent you a friend request so i can see how i can replicate this, or get links to any log files you can copy me. thanks!

Oookay, so I recommend NOT using this with the porkland_interiors beta. I ran the import command, everything seemed like it was going fine, but then one day I loaded up DS and all my saves were disappeared, and trying to make a new save just dropped me back to the main menu.

Unsubscribing from all mods brought the save listing back, but my main save was on slot 6. I was able to open the save by creating a new world in the slot I wanted with the correct character and spawning in the same world I was last in. Then I quit DS. Then I copied all the '<worldname>_7' to '<worldname>_2' in ~/.steam/steam/userdata/65020309/219740/remote/dlc_porkland_interiors. Seems to be working fine so far, but I haven't checked the other worlds.

last year this mod was working fine for me now when i try to restart on 6 save world it crash i can still creat world but can't enter i hope this mod will be fix soon

@Videlish - that's a limitation of the mod framework, i'm afraid. i've asked Klei to fix it, but they have consistently not responded to my requests. you can not merge into a world not in the first 9 slots as it only uses one digit in the merge check. only Klei (or maybe Capy) can fix it.

I have a problem when trying to merge worlds, I can only merge worlds using the save slots between 1 and 10. My shipwrecked world is on slot 97 for instance so I can't select it when merging worlds, from hamlet for instance. Dunno if this bug was always here or just caused by hamlet or something else.

@auricle - i'm not able to replicate that by just creating worlds and entering them with or without mods on. is it possible it was fixed in today's patches? the only thing i even found to 'fix' on my end, coming through the code, would only come up if you tried to hop from SW to HAM. but it doesn't seem to let you do that. again, i'm sure all this will change in a couple days...

@ifatree I believe you! It only crashes when I make Shipwrecked slot compatible with Hamlet. When I play ShipWrecked (with No to Hamlet) with Moar Save Slots it doesn't crash, tested as far as day 8, with lots of snakes. Already reported to Klei, another has same experience.

@Auricle - not it! this was not caused by my mod. you have a Hamlet background on your screenshot, so remember that is Early Access. you can report it on the Klei forums.

thanks for the quick reports and log files, guys. everything should be back to normal now (until hamlet comes out and they change even more stuff about world-hopping).

in theory, a change like this should never be breaking in a way that doesn't also disable un-updated mods automatically via api_version string. i guess since my mod is literally the only one in the world being broken by this update, they didn't bother? *sigh* someday senpai klei will notice me...

It may have happened in the last 2 or 3 days, I'd last played DS about 3 days ago, then tried about 12 hours ago when I experienced the crash/ Maybe in the last 24 hours, going by other user reports.
