Greetings I don't know if this is where is should post about compatibility issues related to CoW3 but it seems that even when using the recommended load order you provided in the base mod MHG, COW 3 buildings overlap with yours, this means even when i have CoW3, CFP, MHG, the correct patches in the order you provide the buildings still get overlapped.
And yes removing COW3 fixes the problem but it removes the improvements in places like Venice.

@DatWeebComingInHot Thanks, yeah, it can be a little frustrating that the graphics I spent time to creating don't work. But unfortunately, the changed structure of COW3 ties my hands.

Shame to see this lacking its feature after the update of COW3, but it's playable. Hope you'll get around to finding the fix for it. Wish you the best, your little building flavor mods are amazing!

@isma Do you speak about my metropolis pictures? Yes, unfortunately due to the major changes in COW3 my graphics are not working. I will try to find a solution to the problem, but at the moment it looks like I won't be able to :(

I just saw metropolises won't show for other people either. I hope this get fix some day, this mod is beautiful!!

Looks like you have a little typo in zz_cow3_background_graphics_buildings for walls_02

Which I'd imagine is meant to be

Thank you for your mod. I need to feed back a question. This mod will destroy Medieval Arts. Specifically, this mod will lead to the lack of castle models in Rome and Baghdad provided by Medieval Arts. Is there any solution?

@Trihne tried unsubscribing and resubscribing, still doesn't work, the Compatch mods were updated then a few hours later the damn Paradox updated 1.16.2 to fix a game bug

@Scratchmen Still not working, i have arranged and enabled the mods as you suggested, it is still the same, maybe because the game has just updated to 1.16.2 causing the problem?

@Nameless Try the following loading order:

COW3
CFP
MHG
EPE
MHG + EPE Compatch
MHG + COW3 Compatch
MHG + CFP Compatch
CFP + EPE Compatibility Patch

Try it without More Background Illustrations and Battle Graphics first. Then try it with them. Some combo should just work.

@Nameless The problem is possibly on your side, the compatch is working fine. Could it be that you are using a mod that also requires compatch for COW3? And since you are not using it, or it has not been updated yet, that may be causing the problem?

It's still just a four-colored box, with no cities or towns around it, like Miss Duce said, meaning it'll take all summer to come back and fix it?

Thanks for both of you for the efforts!

And yeah, the sprawl mechanic is honestly something Paradox should have had in the base game for a longer time already. Fingers crossed they add some system sooner or later.

Probably for the best in terms of time management to not be too bothered with sprawling until the Asia update and the first round of hot:steamthumbsup:fixes roll around to see how it can be implemented.

I believe that sadly for now, scratch was unable to make the metropolis illustration work :( scratch is currently trying to find way to add them again but no promise, we focused first on updating the patch for you all <3

this update is not perfect but we patched most things here and there it should be working fine for now :happy_seagull:

Hi everyone ! ok so we had quite a bit of a headhache with this one, to those unaware, COW changed almost entirely how it worked, which meant a lot of things broke.
The sprawl system got removed, i'll work on my own to add a lite version of it later down the line maybe this summer as i'm quite busy with victoria 3 modding currently. The sprawl system is already removed in COW by default now, and well it was too much work to make it work again now, and the fact it would become obsolete once the asia update dropped made us chose the path to remove it, as said we will still have some sprawl assets coming back in the future !

@everyone Thank you for your patience, the compatch is up to date. Unfortunately my custom metropolis graphics are not working due to the major changes in COW3. And honestly, I don't know at the moment how to get them working again, but I'll give it a try. But the point is that compatch is working, thanks to the wonderful Miss Duce, who will be coming with the exact changelog soon :)

Yes, it needs an update, as stated by the dev, please read comments before just reacting.
The dev (Scratchmen) said hopefully by the end of the weekend. I truly hope so as well. Because I am not playing the game until this is fixed. Otherwise I must remove Cow3. Cow3's new changes is so great that I would rather choose Scratchmen's work than that. The sad thing is that CoW3 is the only thing that adds a form of Sprawl although they removed a lot of that in the new CoW3. So if this is not fixed by Monday I am going to remove CoW3.

My COW3 works with MHG, but the cities, temples and castles do not have towns around them from the COW3 mod, instead it has a 4-color adjustment box with small text, before the update for Tibet to become a nomad, it was not like that, but after the update it always has this, yesterday until now I always try to rearrange the mod lists, but it is always the 4-color box in all maps, but when I turn off MHG + COW3 Compatch, COW3 will not work anymore

Merry Christmas everyone :) The compatch is updated for the last update of More Holding Graphics. The new Saxon and Somali graphics also have their unique metropolis pictures and I updated the slavic one with the new orthodox temple. This update only contains 2D graphical tweaks from my side, we didn't touch the sprawl system yet.

@Miss Duce Glad to help in finding the cause haha. I should have taken screenshot earlier though. Can't wait to play with the next update while everything running together smoothly. But please take your time. I do indeed use medieval art sometimes, really great mod.
