I'm not sure if it works like that, mine is a very basic mod and that other mod is a script I think. Hi @HS_DRAGON. With this mod you need to set the range on each turret individually. There is a link in the description to a mod that I think does that automatically for any new spawns. The thread below from REV I think explains the extent (or lack thereof) of my knowledge.

What do I need to do to make this Mod affect NPCs as well? (Especially the MES)
If I install this Mod, will it affect them as well or do I need to do something?

No need to change anything.
I'm already in a scenario to test spawner framework mods (MES and SEDiver), once I Iron out the balance and bugs, I will be looking for mods to make each PVE encounter more fun and challenging while using vanilla weapons only (I'm not too fond of the WeaponCore framework it changes too many things).

I'm thinking of trying this mod in combination with the other mod and see how it goes.

I don't know how to do that, apart from editing the prefab files directly. That would be a hassle, but achievable.

If you could combine this mod with a mod that adjusts NPC Turrets to set the default shooting range at the maximum aiming range the turret is capable of, that would increase the difficulty. No more just stay at 900 m and snipe NPC anymore.

pretty much everything this mod does is accomplished by just adding a defensive AI block to auto target lock enemies fyi
